Daniel T. Cray Painting

Daniel cares about painting and gives great advice. His company helped prep and then repaint the exterior trim, shutters, windows and rain gutters. They also repaired multiple areas of dry rot and also filled in cracks and seems with caulking. He was able to do this in a timely manner. One of his painters damaged a sprinkler head but Daniel got someone to repair it. I would recommend him for any painting job.

Daniel and his team painted the interior and exterior of our home. They do very good work and are very reliable and efficient. We will use them again the next time we need to paint.

This is long overdue. Daniel first job was at my company a few years ago (see previous review) and then I hired him to paint the exterior of my house recently. He did a wonderful job. His crew was detailed and cleaned up after themselves. He gave helpful suggestions when needed. He was willing to come back when I found some paint residue on my fixture and took care of the problem right away. I would recommend him to everyone. He is reasonable and professional, a pleasure to work with!

When we decided to have the exterior of our house painted recently, we did not hesitate to call Daniel. As I had noted in my earlier review, Daniel’s reliability is second only to the quality of the work he and his team does. Not only is the work he does top notch, the price was more than reasonable. If you live in the Peninsula and are in the need of painting, you would do well to give Daniel a call.

I contracted Daniel and his crew to paint the entire exterior of a house in mid-​Peninsula. He power washed the walls the first day, then spent the next 2 to 3 days removing chipped paint off of the window frames, doors, and walls. The critical part of a paint job is the preparation. He gets it right. He primed the bare areas especially the garage door which has a southern exposure and has the most wear from the sun and winter rains. Other areas with cracks and holes were patched. He uses 2 coats of Benjamin Moore Premium paint. The result is very nice. As long as you let him know everything up front, he will do an excellent job.
His estimate came in $ 2000 below another highly rated paint contractor on Unilocal,so I got a really good price for the same quality job.
Bottom line: Would I go back to him for another paint job — yes!

I can highly recommend Daniel Cray based on the work he did for us. We hired him to re-​stain an outdoor wooden structure & 2 fences. Unlike other companies who quoted, he educated us on a higher-​quality and longer-​lasting stain solution which will keep our yard looking great and will not require maintenance for years to come. More expensive, but the result looks truly spectacular. He answered all of my questions, brought a skilled and courteous crew, finished the job on time, and cleaned up upon completion. I’d use Daniel again without reservation.

Daniel and his crew did an awesome job and came for a very reasonable price. Daniel was very honest in his bid and kept the price inline with the work he described. He was reliable and clean. In the end the work was done on time and to specification.

Daniel is awesome! He just painted the exterior of my house this summer and did an incredible job. His team works incredibly hard and did tons of prep work.
