I’d advise the owner of this place to keep a better eye on his establishment. I went in to get some ice cream the other evening and the entire store stunk of marijuana. There’s nothing wrong with that, but if you’re the business owner, I’m pretty sure that’s not your idea of running a good business(or maybe it is… who knows — maybe that is part of the business), who am I to say? To cover up the smell, some fruity body spray, which nearly made me vomit in my mouth, to say I lost my desire for ice cream all together is a complete understatement. 2 young girls came out of the back and they were so lit, it was comical. I wanted to give them some advice to at least leave the door open if they were going to hotbox the ice cream shop, let it breath a little. Terrible. They were so high, I don’t think they knew where they were. They burst out laughing 2 minutes into helping me — which, I guess if I were that high, I would too. I don’t think this is the right way to run a business/service that people pay money for. I would rather take my money elsewhere, to an establishment that cares about the service being offered. I know you can’t expect high school kids to take their jobs seriously, but there should be a level of supervision and certain expectations. I would be horrified if I were a mother taking my kids to get ice cream and walked into this Baskin Robbins — how terrible for the brands image.

The Burlingame BR, specifically Victoria, deserve 100 stars! I’ve spent so much money on fancy birthday cakes that just get thrown away. This year my 5 year old wanted the ice cream cone clowns from BR. We were going with a minion theme and I asked if the could incorporate that into the clowns. We got these AMAZINGLYADORABLE cones that everyone loved! The kids ate every bit it them and my 5 year old was happier then I’ve ever seen! Thank you so much for the incredible service above and beyond!

Terrible service. A few people were there ahead of me but the store was not particularly busy. But when it came to be my time to place an order one of the staff decided to help someone else, who had clearly come in after I did(how do I know? Because they were BEHIND me). OK, no big deal, I’ll just wait for the other soda jerk(no, that’s not a pejorative) to take my order. Then SHE decided to help someone who had come later still!!! Just rude and unprofessional. I walked out. Look at the time of this post to figure out who was working. Then ask them what’s going on in their heads.

Arrive 15 minutes before closing and they had packed away most of the ice cream and wouldn’t serve us all the flavors. The girls were less than friendly. Very disappointing.

I just wanted to say that I’ve been coming to this Baskin-Robbins for the last four years and I’ve always had great service. now I understand during the summer there’s 100 kids waiting in line to get an ice cream so things do get hectic, lines get long and people get impatient but that’s life. now imagine if you were working at an ice cream parlor and having to physically dish out over 200 ice cream scoops a day I think you deserve a breath before the next customer orders. if you’re real ice cream lover, waiting extra time because of other customers shouldn’t bother you esp. since it’s expected and it’s normal. we shouldn’t be judge mental expecting people to jump at you hand and foot immediately as you walk through the door and when you aren’t the only one in the store. Gloria is the best ice cream scooper ever!!!

Came in on a hot day the place was empty. Now I know why. The place was filthy! Clerks working there was just sitting down in the back being lazy on the job. I came in and no one was in the store front to even greet. It’s like they don’t even want to be bothered working. The clerk was very rude! I asked for my receipt after making my purchase and she said I could just grab it from the register(because she’s too lazy to get up)! The nerve!!! I asked for her name and she said her name is Adriana. She really needs to learn customer service. She also needs to get reprimanded or fired! Seriously! Hella rude! Never coming back here!

I understand when it is getting to closing time, that employees want to get a jump on cleaning and head out asap. Though, using chemicals and mopping, and then not washing your hands, before serving ice cream, is a health hazard.

I ordered a cake over the phone for 6 people. An Asian lady(who I assume is the owner or manager) was very insistent on me purchasing the 6 – 8 person cake for $ 28. I kept telling her that I was serving the cake to 4 adults and 2 older people(who don’t really eat sweets) and I wanted to get the smaller cake. She was SOPUSHY and aggressive about me ordering the larger 6 – 8 person cake, so I finally agreed. I picked up the cake and it was HUGE, we only finished ½ of the cake. I was very disappointed with the store’s aggressive sales tactics and felt like she was just trying to nickle and dime me, which I did not appreciate. With so many Baskin Robbins stores in the area, I will take my business else where next time!

Definitely my go to place for ice cream. For me, nothing beats it on a HOT day than a scoop for my favorite ice cream — Jamoca Almond fudge. :)

Lol. Went in with my gf to get her her first I’ve cream cake. Lady at the counter insisted on the pink cake and I couldn’t understand what flavor she was telling me it was. Then she voluntarily told me a story about seltzer water prices(I was holding a box of seltzer water). Then another lady came out(possibly the manager) to push the bigger cakes and it is just two of us. Told her it was my gf’s bday. She offered to take a dollar off. Now im between the two ladies. So damn pushy, these two. I’m trying to decide between a banana split or cake. I decided on the smallest cake(says for 3 – 4 people) which was $ 15. They refused to honor the dollar off on the small cake. I put the cake back and slowly moonwalked out of the store without buying anything. Ain’t gonna touch my money Burlingame baskin Robbins. :p

This Baskin Robbins store is great. The owner is very friendly and helpful. She always encourages a person to taste a new flavor without trying to get you to buy it. So far, everything she’s made me has been great. She’s not stingy at all on the portions. She made me the best Banana Royale!!! All the proportions of ingredients were right on… unlike the Millbrae, CA store, which skimps on the toppings and scoops on the smaller side. The owner of the Burlingame store even remembered me and my friend and we were only in there 2 x. She greeted us with a smile and has a great attitude! Keep up the good work! :-)

This BR has been around since I was a kid. The owner is an older asian lady who is full of energy and very nice. I went here to pick out an ice cream cake for my husband’s birthday. She instantly walked over and kept telling me cookies and cream is good. I told her I like it but my husband is picky and I need to look at the cake flavors. She kept insisting on cookies and cream. I felt so rushed because I’m trying to look at the cakes behind and I feel her eyes watching me look. I understand if you would like to be helpful, but you need to give customers some space to breathe and take a look. I eventually found one suitable for my husband. Pretty pricey. I got the smallest cake for $ 15. I didn’t expect that. Sundaes, shakes, etc… SUPEREXPENSIVE. Why are shakes around $ 6 – 7? Sundaes $ 5 – 7? Not good value for your money.

I know I came in 10 mins before closing but wow, do you have to be that rude??! The lady rushed us, told us that we could only buy to take out to eat, told us to shut the fridge door when we opened it to take a closer look at the cakes, and when we walked up to the counter just shouted«$ 10.99!!» at us. She didn’t even ask if we wanted anything written on it or if we wanted any candles.

This ice cream is so average. It’s too Icey. If you are looking for quality ice cream that is fresh, creamy, and has exceptional customer service, TRYCRYOCREAM. It’s just off burlingame avenue around the corner from peets coffee. It’s so amazing!!!

I usually like to support small ice cream businesses, but had a craving for a unique flavor, so I chose a brand named store. The owner(?) is very nice, I liked that she offered me many samples of different flavors. She was courteous, friendly, and was enthusiastic about everything in her store. I also liked that she had a pitcher of water for free for those who were extremely thirsty(as I was). The thing that really got me was her prices. They were waaaaaay overpriced for ice cream. I bought a shake and a small ice cream cup and ended up paying $ 9! That was way too much for me. I could’ve went to Starbucks, or the new ice cream store down the street and paid less. Its not her fault — its the cost of owning a store, prices will go up. However, as friendly as she was, I will not return.

I definitely prefer the mom and pop ice cream places, but since I was with family, we decided to pay homage to where we all used to go get ice cream together when my grandpa gave us some ice cream money. Got their Jamoca which I still love. Prices definitely went up since I was a little kid! But can’t fault them for that. Standard service. The servers did not look too happy to scoop us some ice cream, but they were civil and did not really kick us out until closing time. Overall, standard Baskin-robbins.

There is something about a brand that has been around for decades. You can count on the reputation of that brand to be there when you need it, even after an afternoon of walking in the sunshine. Baskin Robbins was exactly that for us! While visiting the in-laws in Burlingame last weekend, we enjoyed a stroll to the downtown shopping area during two of the days we were there, and on each day we made sure to get a scoop at BR. The same young gal(Elanor) served us on both occasions, and she was the sweetest! Not only was she helpful in answering our questions and giving us samples, but she offered her own personal recommendations.. and her happy attitude added a sparkle to the place. If you go in to this ice cream shop expecting exactly what Baskin Robbins’ carries at every other store, and know that it is small in size, you won’t be disappointed. It’s a quick fix to your shopping fatigue and will surely put a smile on your face.

All hopped up on drugs and injected fluids into the bloodstream means it’s munchies time. I sent my accomplice into the store while I waited in the getaway car for my triple scoop of vanilla, strawberry and rocky road. All classic flavors which would soon be my first solid meal in 3 days. From there we made the short drive to my house where I finally was feeling like a healthy adult and ready to attack my ice cream. Believe it or not, but this was my first ever visit to Baskin Robbins in Bgame ever. I’ve walked past this location more times than I can count. Speaking of, I really am not good at math which means I can’t even really count that high. I was careful and took small bites of each flavor and swallowed each very slowly. Because of this I feel I can fairly review the quality of the ice cream even though I actually was not the one who stepped inside the store. Let me tell you, I was impressed with each of my three flavor choices. I thought maybe it would be sweeter than I like, but nope. The right amount of sugar was added and the texture creamy and melty. Is this review making you hot right now? I had chills earlier in the day which over the course of the morning subsided, but holding the cold cup in my hands was nearly impossible as it was ice cold to the point where my fingers were numb and am thinking that I may have possibly suffered a severe case of frost bite. I can afford to lose a few fingers as I already have 8. Baskin Robins was the perfect way to reintroduce me food and why I love it so much.
