I do not think these people went to this place I have never had a bad experience there Andy always does my nails and the owner Lynn will come in early to do your nails no other places do that and every other place I gotten my solar nails done they get the pink powder on the white tips and vis versa they are the best priced as well and my feet always leave smooth and polished perfectly I don’t know y’alls expectations but mine are always met at solar nail on renfro next to anytime fitness they do take appointments if needed

This place was terrible! They were rude, lied and argumentative! Above all that, horrible nail job!

I gave this place one star because leaving a negative star review wasn’t an option. I went in looking for a specific technique– I wanted my nails soaked off, a layer of acrylic dip as a base for strength and Gel Shellac applied for color. After soaking my nails off, she was adamant that my nails were strong enough to shellac alone. I argued that I didn’t think they would be, but she proceeded with shellac only. At the end, I told her that they didn’t feel strong enough. She argued that they were. She ran my card before she started my nails and rushed me out after. When I pointed out that my nails were paper thin and frail, she felt them and adamantly stated that they were strong.
When I got home, the nails were giving under even the lightest activity.
I returned the next day to request a refund, she said that I should have gotten a base coat of dip if I wanted them stronger. I argued that I had originally requested that, and she refused because she wanted to save time. I was told to come back and speak to the owner. When I returned, he gave me a refund and asked if I wanted to return the tip. I told him to leave her tip (because I’m a decent person) and refund the price of the nails. He did, then told me that I owed $ 10 for the take off. I refused. The tech at the second salon who fixed their shotty work had to take off, shape, and cut down my nails because of Solar Nail Salon’s inattention to detail. She even asked where I got such bad service. Buyer, beware. They obviously don’t care about the quality of their service or their reputation. They simply wanted to make a buck.

Was in desperate need of a manicure so I decided to give this salon a try. Only had to wait about 10 mins so that wasn’t too bad. My manicurist was ok she did a good job trimming my cuticles and shaping my nails, but she didn’t clean under the nail at all and she did the worst thing any manicurist can do… She gave me a poor polish job. 3 of my nails had uneven coats and she left nail polish on the skin around my nail. I’m sorry but applying nail polish is cosmetology 101.
They give a decent manicure minus the polish. From what I saw the guy, Andy, and the owner, Lynn, are the definitely the best in there, so if I come here again I’ll ask for one of them to do my manicure.
Overall wasn’t bad, but coulda been better.

Awful place. I went with a group of my cousins and they rushed us and the girls ahead of us. We went in for pedicures and were disappointed with the half assed job.

I experience great customer service every time I go. They have a clean place & a nice selection for colored powders. I enjoy walking straight in & Andy greeting me. They are open 7 days a week & I’ve been going for 5 months. They also have beverages & my solar nails always last over 2 weeks without needing a fill. give them a try, I’m a loyal customer there & you can be too.

this place was AWFUL!!! absolutely AWFUL!!! I go to get my nails done today with a friend and while I’m waiting they pull someone in front of me who had arrived AFTER I had; I was okay with that it was one person and she was getting a pedicure and I wanted just a manicure. Then, ANOTHER person who had arrived after I had got pulled in front of me but she was getting just a manicure. While I’m seeing this happen one of their employees tells me, not asks TELLS me, to get out of the chair I was sitting in because he needs it for his customer, the one who walked in after I had. I normally don’t EVER do these review things but this is the WORST customer service I have ever had. I don’t want other people to have this happen to them. This place was awful!
