Coming from Southern California I have high expectations for my Mexican food. Mojo’s is like BBQ meets Mexican. Make sure you get the soft tacos – the soft taco tortillas are freshly cooked from dough balls right there, while the burrito tortillas are prepackaged. I got the brisket and chicken soft tacos. The brisket was good, the chicken was average, and there were a lot of different sauces to add to the tacos. It wasn’t authentic Mexican, but it was a good meal.

The margaritas are awesome! Service is great! I had the chicken tacos and they were the best. Lots of flavor in the meat. My husband had the brisket nachos and they were so big he couldn’t finish. Food was top notch! Laid back atmosphere that is enjoyable. I will be coming back!

I love this place for lunch. I usually have ½ order nachos or the brisket tacos. Very fresh, friendly staff and you get a cookie!

You can always depend on good for food at Mojo’s and the staff to be on top of their game. If you need a place to grab a quick bite to eat, you’ve found the spot. The prices are a tad high, but they aren’t too far off from places similar to this.(Qdoba is just down the street & priced about the same). One major difference though, is Mojo’s doesn’t chinch on the meat! They even give you a tiny cookie, it hits the spot for your sweet tooth!

Just went to this place, food sucked! I got the brisket nachos and it was cold and the meat tasted as if it was boiled in water. The guy making it also put items on them that was not ordered and charged me for them. The burrito I got was steak and it was like the steak you get from taco bell. Was not appetizing at all. First and last time I will ever waste my money there. There isn’t a negative star on here so I had to rate it so it got a 1. Was not worth my money or time.

I guess I should have read the reviews before I tried it. My husband and I went for lunch a couple months ago, since it was our first time we decided to split two different burritos, pulled pork and brisket. I don’t know that I had a favorite, because the whole time I was thinking am I eating BBQ or a burrito? It was a little weird, BBQ sauce on a burrito? Maybe if they had the option of not having the sauce already on the meats I would have liked it more? Also thought it was a little pricey $ 8.99 each. Yes, they were big but I get really big burritos on homemade tortillas other places for much less. Probably wouldn’t go back.

I’m not sure why this place has 4 stars? I went to this place thinking it was a was far from it. you go to the counter and you have three choices. a burrito, tacos or a bowl. i got the burrito my girlfriend got the bowl and a burrito was pretty good but nothing out of the ordinary. a little overpriced too. i believe our meal and margarita came to almost 30 bucks. this place to me is ok but nothing special. especially for the price.

Good food, but flies everywhere. They leave the salsa out in the open with flies landing in it… yuck!

OVERPRICED… To-go order: my burrito«bowl» was put in what I call a hot dog container then a brown bag with a handful of chips just tossed in with it, but I found a cookie in there, mixed in. Sloppy presentation. Was hoping food was good at least… It was ok… I have had worse, but far from great. For the money I would have rather went to Taco Bueno and saved the difference. Probably won’t be back, which is a bummer because it’s right down the road

Love the veggie burrito! Basically the black beans, Spanish rice, and tortilla plus side items are pleasing to my taste buds. I enjoy the chipotle ranch a lot. I love the home-town feel of this place. Friendly staff. I’ll definitely be back! Oh yea. The brownie cake cookie doesn’t disappoint! Yummmmm!

Yummy. Limited menu smoked beef and pork. Chicken is in a red sauce and shredded. Wish they would leave it whole and smoked like the beef. Generous portions reasonably priced. Cheese sauce is horrible and they were skimpy on grated cheese for the nachos. My son loved the beef and pork tacos so much he went back the next day with a friend. I on the other hand was not as eager to return.

Very good food. I had three tacos. The brisket, chicken and pork. Each selection was equally good. If I had to choose a favorite, it would be the brisket.

OK that was one off the messiest meals I’ve had and it was awesome. Went w the brisket burrito and topped it to my heart’s content. I’m a Freebirds guy(over Chipotle/Qdoba) and this was easily as good(think BBQ, lime juice, queso & co). This’ll definitely be one of my main go-to’s in Burleson. Not sure if I’d drive out from FW, but it would be worth stopping by if you’re out this way(i.e. HEB) and need a bite to eat. Or several bites. Bonus points for cooking the tortillas fresh and fast right before your eyes, ESPN on the large screen, good country music on the audio, nice patio seating out front(albeit right on Wilshire), really good real sweet tea, RC cola and Nehi root beer in the soda fountain, free chips, and the tasty little chocolate fudge cookie chaser. But don’t be tempted to go Spanish-y like I did — it’s Mojo with a good ol’ English ‘J’… And don’t let the unassuming façade fool you — inside this place definitely has some mojo… On second thought, you do owe it to yourself to drive out and just sit down and enjoy a really good burrito.(They also have bowls and tacos and nachos — guessin those are just as good)

When I asked for a good food spot I was given the name of Mojo’s by several folks. I got a few more names of places, but I was curious about this one. It is located smack dab next to a Whataburger I have always frequented during the past 10 years. Well, this place is a small building, but I was only interested In what I knew; Whataburger… When I entered this small spot I saw a few tables to the left and a flat screen showin round 1 of The Masters on the rear wall. To the right I saw the proprietor behind the counter offer a greeting. I told him I was a new customer and he politely ran down some of his entrée items… I told him I was realyyyy HUNGRY and he said the 3 taco plate would fill me up. The flour tortillas were fresh! I mean they were prepared in front of me. Yes, right in front of me. He put 3 round balls of dough onto a press and closed it — voila!!! It took only 3 seconds then he put them on a skillet to toast them. Then he put on my meat choices: pulled pork, chicken and brisket. He put healthy portions into each freshly made tortilla and moved over to the other traditional taco toppings… He put a hand full of chips in then put in a small chocolate cookie for good measure; nice gesture, I thought. OMG!!! I ate each taco in this order; pulled pork, chicken and brisket. Although the first 2 tacos were great the brisket taco was sic, off the hook, awesome!!! I took advantage of the«just after lunch rush crowd» watching a few more minutes of The Masters. My mouth felt like it was in a 4th of July firework display. Not in a bad way, but in a tantalizing stimulated way that umuted my feared dead taste buds. Bravo Mojo’s! I’ll be back!!! The owner, knowing I’m a newbie, had come around again asking how everything fared… Wow! I said. This was an excellent brisket taco, Wow!!! He was happy, I was happy. He asked me to go over to get a cup of mild or hot salsa for additional taco toppings and for chip dipping. I got a water, but he had soft drinks and a tub of beer for sale. I sa

I have a hard time getting to that part of wilshire but this has to be one of my favorite places ever. The food is so good. The employees are always so nice. I love the chicken bowl when I’m trying to be healthy and I could drink their salsa. My guilty pleasure is the brisket though. It’s so amazing. Anytime someone asks me about this place I always mention how they freshly make everything.

This place as consistent as it comes. The tacos are fresh and delicious! The nachos are a load to eat but worth the challenge. I’ve never been displeased with the service. Wonderful owner always happy. The carnitas are dynamite when they have them.

Mojo’s is legit. The«streamlined» menu(code for not much variety) allows for burritos, nachos, or tacos as the primary offerings of this stop on Wilshire in Burleson. Side note: was this formerly the Bodacious Barbecue? Anywho, stop in to Mojo’s for a burrito and a beer!

My husband Tried the steak tacos and I had the chicken tacos. The steak was ok nothing special. The chicken came with beans and rice I chose the mojo sauce and it was really flavorful with a bit of spice almost like a salsa verde. Good guacamole for the additional $ 1.50 very fresh and light. Nice to watch the tortillas being made when u order but they were a bit tough. Chips were a bit stale. Service was ok.
