Logan’s Roadhouse

It’s hard to have much to say about this place. Service was slow and mediocre. The food was the same. The steak was cooked as ordered, but it was nothing special. In my opinion, this place is essentially an overpriced Chili’s.

Just another chain restaurant. CFS was very good, but, then, so is Babe’s and Cotton Patch. Service has always been good and friendly.

Don’t know where to start!
Steaks tough. Golden Corral is better.
Waitress was new so we understand some errors. Very slow service.
Had to get our own refills.
Manager had to correct meal errors.
Steaks, shrimp, wings all over cooked.

Tried to place a Togo order at the bar. Quoted corporate policy that this is not possible, have to go to the hostess stand, place the order, pay, go to the bar to have a drink while waiting, pay again. If they had online ordering, this might make sense and I would have been happy to place my order that way.
I also thought the health department likes it when long haired staff wear their hair up and not down so hair doesn’t go everywhere but what do I know? After watching her push it back ten times then serve drinks, I was happy to go elsewhere.

First time here. Read the reviews and was hesitate but food was excellent, portions generous and service from our waitress «Bailey» & «Chris» friendly & attentive. Two managers even stopped by our table. However after requesting a booth we were seated near two small unattended children who were playing their video games loudly. Must have been bring your children to work day as they were helping carry out orders too. Also we were not credited out $ 5 off eclub coupon. But because of good food and service will give them another shot soon. Hubby had 20 oz steak and I had prime rib with lobster and 2 appetizers.

My Grandma loves Logan’s. It’s not my favorite, but will eat here for her. I find most of the steaks bland or tough except the Porterhouse steak or their fillet. They also have southern style food, sandwiches, and burgers. This location can be a hit or miss with service and consistency of the food.
What gets me is my Grandma is on a walker. You would think they would put her close, but no they make her walk all the way to the back room… unless I say something. Then their like. Oh! My grandma thinks it’s funny.

First time I went my husband and I got a chicken and steak combo, my chicken was dry and burnt in some spots so we sent it back, the steak was overlooked when we asked for medium, there was NO pink and I really like a juicy steak, the service was ok. The second time I went it was my husband birthday there were 6 in our party and only a couple tables in the restaurant, so we figured it would be good service, Wrong! Our drinks never got refilled, they brought out everyone’s food except my father in laws so we all had food in front of us getting cold while we waited for his, they never brought me my broccoli which came with the meal, just rice and chicken on a plate, and the drink I did have I had to ration because they never came back to refill it, even after I asked and it was a peach lemonade… Wayyyy too strong def need water to wash it down if you order it. Bad experience both times.

We ate here on Mother’s Day mostly because there was no wait at the time we went. The service and food were really good and we will not hesitate to return.

Good service and quality of food was great for the price.

Went to Logan’s on Monday had a platter with shrimp and steak the food was delicious. My only complaint was maybe they could sweep in certain sections some children don’t like all the peanut shells on the ground.

This restaurant was so full of cigarette smoke you couldn’t enjoy your meal or company. Food was ok, but not hot… only room temperature. Restrooms were unclean.

Went here after church on Sunday. Service was pretty good. We had fried pickles are those were really good! The bread is good as always too. I had a burger for the first time there and I was not impressed. I only ate about a fourth. It was dry and the taste was bad too. So if you go there I don’t recommend the burgers but everything else tends to be alright.

The steak salad was good. The steak could have had more flavor. I ordered my steak medium and it was a bit chewy.
Initially, the server was sweet and offered good drink selections but it the service level quickly declined as it neared the end of her shift.
We ordered the brownie sundae for dessert. We were told it was walnut but it was covered peanuts. Sorry, but not all nuts are the same. And the presentation was lacking. Definitely, will not order it again.
The best part about our meal, was honestly… the yeast rolls.

This location had very good service and the quality of their food was great.
3 stars because, in general, the better chain steak house is Texas Roadhouse. For 10% cheaper you can have a more flavorful steak with a better texture, and when you order your mushrooms and onions on the steak they really bring it for the same price.
This experience was delicious, though.

Seated quick. Server was a little preoccupied I think as she wasn’t around much. It was a Sunday afternoon crowd though so anything is possible.
Rolls were to die for, very light and fluffy. I ordered the health nut tilapia and while it was cooked a little over done for my taste, it could easily have been made better with something as simple as a lemon wedge. Since when does fish not get lemon?
All in all it wasn’t a horrid experience, but nothing outstanding either. It was decent enough that we’ll most likely go again someday.

We go here quite frequently. The food is great but the service can range anywhere from 3 – 5 so I pick 4. This particular night we got a crappy table that was cramped and small and in a heavy traffic area. There were 4 of us-​3 adult size people and a kid and they sqouze us in this little itty bitty table and we felt like first graders and they put the small elderly couple in a big long, huge booth. Our waiter acted like he didnt really care to be there. He wasnt rude and he took decent care of us, just kinda unenthused. Every time one of the wait staff walked by they hit my poor son who was sitting on the edge. Just a dumb table! They should remove it.
Anyways, the rolls here are astounding! They practically melt in your mouth and theyre unlimited. I usually get steaks and theyre always cooked to perfection but this time I got the ribs and chicken. Man, oh man, them ribs were off the hook! The meat just fell off the bone. I didnt even wanna share them bad boys. I cant believe all this time ive been missing out on this. The chicken was swell, too, but nothing like the ribs. Get them!

After trying to find a place to eat at downtown Ft Worth I quickly realized parking was going to be an issue so we decided to stop in Burleson on our way home to have lunch. We wanted to eat at a place we normally do not eat in Austin. So we went to Logan’s Roadhouse.
It is one of those places where you eat free peanuts and throw the shells on the floor. They brought us 4 huge rolls and whipped honey butter so along with the peanuts I was already getting filled up. My wife had one pork chop and I had chicken strips (6) both with huge sides. Yes large portions of food! My chicken, macaroni and cheese, broccoli was very tasty along with my wife’s pork chop. The food is a bit fatty where is seems all is cooked with butter.
The service is excellent and did not have to wait and parking was not a problem. We ate at the bar area so we had access viewing the TVs. I gave it 3 stars for it was in the realm of what I call truck driver food, but compared to other chain restaurants this is among the top.

BOO!!! THIS Place SUCKS!
it was sunday and we figured we would go out and get something to eat. so we decided to try out logan’s roadhouse and what a big mistake that was.
just to keep this short and this is just my view on what i had to eat that night and it was WINGS. they have a deal after 9pm its .50 a wing every night and happy hour well to start off i asked for 30 wings and since this was my first time being here i wanted to try out the flavors so i asked for 5 scorching hot and 5 of what i think was habenero chipotle and the rest hot buffalo.
20mins later I received the opposite of what i asked for and all i got was 10 of scorching hot and 10 of the habenero i informed the server that im missing the buffalo hot. a few minutes later i got a apology by the waitress who took my order the first time and told me that she would fix it.
14mins later another server delivered the wings but again they sent me more of the scorching hot wings and again it was sent back and so i waited another 6mins and AGAIN! they delivered the same exact wings again. and the waitress who took my order swiped the plate and took it back and then another 11mins after she came back and finally delivered the right order of wings.
all in all the food sucks! im not sure who would order any of the flavors except for the scorching hot. thats the hottest flavor on the menu and it was the only thing that tasted good. both the other’s had little to no flavor and it was just nasty. more than likely ill never return to this place if they cant figure things out and with the constant errors was more than enough for me to skip this place for the remaining of the year.

If you want me to go out of my way to visit your restaurant, then offer a «two-​for-​one» coupon or special that may expire after a given time. That was such the case with this Logan’s franchise, as we took them up on their «Halloween Special» coupon offer. We will continue to look for these specials in the Fort Worth Star-​Telegram and other local publications. We went directly after church, and even though this area is only about 5 – 10 miles from where we live, I’m calling this out of our way, since we not only pass our house but also so many great places to get to Burleson. It was worth the trip, as we were able to find a booth in the bar, even though the restaurant was getting packed quickly on that Sunday.
The service and food were both quite good, especially for bar seating. The server was timely, knowledgeable, and friendly. Mrs. B’s chicken fried steak was excellent, and there was gravy aplenty! Good, creamy gravy goes a long way with us. My sirloin might have been a just a little overcooked, but I find it hard to complain at this price point, especially when bringing a coupon. The flavor of the steak was pretty good as well, so I found the quality of the food to be quite pleasing. Also, $ 3 for the large draft of ZiegenBock (pictured), another great deal!
Dear Logan’s of Burleson: show me some more great specials, and I’ll be happy to return. You may call me cheap, but I like to think of myself as «opportunistic.»
