First off need a more creative name than just Hibachi teppanyaki & sushi. Got the steak and chicken combination with fried rice which was all really good except for the chicken had a rubbery taste. Not a big fan on the $ 2 up charge for fried rice considering when getting hibachi, fried rice is pretty standard. Got the calamari for our appetizer and I thought it was breaded and season perfectly. The staff was efficient and nice. For the future, will probably stick to going to Edohana in Fort Worth.

I plan to never visit this place again. Unlike most Asian restaurants this place charges a $ 2 per plate upcharge for«fried rice.» Which for this place is a little bit of oversalted egg, a huge slab of butter and various different mystery sauces. They force a 15% gratuity for a Chef we already planned to tip and a waitress that doesn’t serve much of a purpose. My family has been loyal patrons of this restaurant since it opened– up until a couple of years or so ago. They have raised their prices and lowered the quality of their food and service. After the prices raised we were alright with continuing to eat here as the quality of the food used to always be great– but the food is now bad. You’d think for such an expensive restaurant(we’re talking $ 15 – 25 per plate) that they would use the highest quality meats, spices and cooking techniques but the opposite is now true. My chicken breast was dry, the food was over salted, I’m still angry about the $ 2 upcharge for rice(never used to be that way) and the only good thing about the meal was the grilled veggies. It cost us $ 44 for 2 people, we didn’t order any fountain drinks, alcohol, dessert, sushi or any of the fany plates. Just plain old chicken(which was dry), lackluster fried rice($ 2 upcharge to an already $ 15 plate), and over salted veggies. The others in our party spent $ 86 for water, no dessert, no alchohol, plain chicken and $ 2 upcharge fried rice, 2 adults and 3 kids(kids menu only offers meat, as veggies or rice was an upcharge). Long story short: Too pricey for the quality and quanitity.

The ONLY reason I gave 2 stars is the fact the food was decent(not great but ok). The hostess was very rude, and the girl bringing out our food was equally rude and not very helpful(we ordered pick up). They were not even that busy, and when I asked for the condiments I needed, it was as if it was a HUGE inconvenience(eye roll and all). I seriously felt for a moment I was back in high school! Then they did not bring me what I asked and I thought forget it and went back to my car, but my mother really wanted ginger with her sushi, so she went in and could not believe the unprofessionalism and immaturity of the staff… Since this was our first time, I’m unsure if this is typical for this place? But honestly we are sticking to Kroger sushi, tastes better and they do not mind giving you ginger and wasabi!

I usually got to Edohana for Hibachi, but it’s nice to go to Burleson every now and then. It’s a nice addition to the area. There is a hibachi side and sushi side. The service is a little slow. Food was decent. They have a knock off of the shrimp sauce as we call it in Georgia. Yum yum sauce. white sauce. whatever you want to call it.

The food was great. Minus the fact I stood at the front podium for ten minutes without being acknowledged was a major issue for me. I ordered my food online and was told it would be ready for pick up in 15 – 20 minutes. I arrived at the 20 minute mark. After waiting to be acknowledged my food wasn’t even ready. So I had to wait an additional 15 minutes on top of that. Ridiculous! I am a manager of an upscale salon and could never imagine ignoring a guest right in my face and looking past her and checking other guest in. It would take an act of God for me to go back.

This is Hibachi Heaven, especially for my two young boys(ages 8, 3). We stop in every couple of weeks… A tad excessive, but hey — We know what we like! The entire staff treats the kids like they are royalty, which makes it easier for adults to enjoy the meal in peace. The cocktail menu is pretty impressive for such a small place. My favorite is the Shakespeare. The kids would recommend the joint’s signature gummy bears in Sprite. We rarely skip out on the spring rolls(check in for a free app coupon!). The Chef’s special gives a great taste, and is really enough to split if you order a second setup of soup, salad, and rice. The chefs are very skilled and entertaining. What would give this place 5 stars? We were disappointed with the lobster when we gave it a try. And sometimes it is either so hot or so cold in the dining room, it’s uncomfortable. So stick with the beef and chicken, wear layers, and enjoy!

Had a really great experience last evening for our first night in town, Food was great, we were seated on the Hibachi grill side, would recommend the filet mignon and shrimp, and my family had so much fun watching the chef’s skills behind the grill!

This place was a blast! While it was a bit pricey, the food was delicious and the entertainment value made it all worth while. Watching the chiefs cooking right at the table and tossing food around with skill was crazy. Definitely a fun place for date night.

This is such a lovely Hibachi restaurant that is quite entertaining, and the food is very delicious! They have a Hibachi side where the chef entertains you while he cooks your food. It’s like dinner and a show. A great way to spend time with your family, or impress a date, or have fun with your friends. I went here to celebrate a family members’ birthday, and the restaurant was quite accommodating-the wait staff even sang with us the happy birthday song! The other side of the restaurant is set up like a sushi café where you can order your favorite sushi rolls or bistro boxes and the atmosphere is very cozy and serene. One of my good friends and I ordered sushi sitting on this side of the restaurant and we had a lovely time. The wait staff is very polite and courteous. And they offered great food entrée suggestions along with great adult drink ideas. I recommend this place to anyone in the mood for a taste of Amazing sushi and/or Hibachi.

They surprise you with extra charges. Not honest about their menu. Regular meal, nothing special, two adults two children. $ 70, not including tip. You make the call. Too much?

While their sushi menu is lacking a little creativity for healthy eaters(those that don’t eat rice, but gluten free), the waitress was very accommodating and offered to make sushi like I like it — rolled in cucumber instead of rice. I had it with tuna, salmon, crab and avocado. They did charge me $ 14, which is way more than any other sushi on their menu, but that was okay with me. I know it takes a little bit more work to wrap it in cucumber, but oh it was so delicious! and I was carb-free!

I suppose six years between reviews it too long. They have come a long way since that first review. The food is consistently good and it has a nice ambiance. Easily my favorite thing there is to have sushi. It’s much quieter on that side of the restaurant and there is usually no wait to be seated.

They were totally unprepared for a big group which is odd since it’s really geared for larger groups. Incredibly slow drink service, which if you’re a family wouldn’t be a big deal,…but we’re a group of professional drinkers. I would not recommend this for dinner. The food was ok.

Great atmosphere, awesome food, and just a fun night out. We really enjoy coming here. Our only complaint is that the girls up front are a little unprofessional most of the time. They seem more concerned about chatting with each other and messing with their phones than they do about taking care of the customers walking in. They could use a little bit more training because they definitely don’t give the best first impression. Once you get past them it’s all good though.

So for some reason all of the employees here NEVER know their own happy hour schedule. It’s like they were all told to act like it ends earlier than it actually does because for the past few months(maybe a year) they always first try to tell you their happy hour ends at 5pm, when it actually ends at 6pm. If you correct them, they always say«oh yeah.» How could every employee not remember when it actually ends?! I swear it’s fishier than their sushi hahaha Anyways, I’ve been told their sashimi and traditional sushi pieces/rolls is below par. So I find it doesn’t make sense that they try to charge so much for it outside of happy hour, assuming that price should equal quality. Their happy hour prices are good and really the only time anyone should bother to go. I’m allergic to seafood so I’ve only had their vegetarian rolls, gyoza, and etc. You can’t really mess up an avocado roll, but this place charges you extra to have it made inside-out/rice on the outside. Most places do not so this is obviously another aspect that makes them below par. This place isn’t usually busy so getting a table never takes more than walking in and asking for a table, as you are immediately whisked away to your table. All of the workers seem miserable here, so the service could be better. Really not much else to say.

We ate in the dining room. The hostess seated my husband in the hibachi area when I clearly said dining room. Then she told him when we were seated that we only get 1 menu per table! Really? Running short on menus? Thought the short little curtains blocking the hallway to the restroom were annoying and unsanitary since everyone that walks through there either touches them with their head, face, hair or hands. The chicken lettuce wraps were okay, but not very tasty. The Jap chae seafood dish was not very good and my husband ‘s pad Thai dish was unimpressive. The best part was the waitress Paige and the chocolate mints she gave us!

The Chef’s cook live and put on a little show. They have all kinds of good sea food, chicken and steaks. It’s a little costly but it’s worth it.

I gave it a 3 because of the amazing waiter in the hibachi part of the restaurant. One of the chefs added way too much soy sauce to EVERYTHING!!! He did a few cool tricks though. A lot of customers I sat with there didn’t appreciate my skintone and made it clear. The waiter put them by and they took their food and sat so far away from my boyfriend and I that I felt uncomfortable and continued to give me snobby looks the whole time.

This sushi place was a usual for us when we live in Burleson a few months ago. Our favorite item to get was either the Love Boat or Titanic depending on how many people you have. The Titanic can serve anywhere from 4 – 6 people and comes with so much sushi, sashimi, salad, miso soup, and sake! You can not go wrong with this place! It’s $ 100, but the value is really insane and it’s just an overall great place if you love sushi but have a budget, because we know it can get expensive!
