Had an exhaust leak caused by two missing nuts and one missing bolt. Had this repaired for $ 75 at this place. 3 weeks later the issue returned. Took my car back a few weeks after that (about six weeks after the repair) and was told that they’d charge me to repair it again.
When I questioned why this work wouldn’t be under warranty just six weeks later, his response was «well, it’s not my fault if the bolts came loose again» and went on to explain that this time he’d use LocTite on them.
I’ve never dealt with any company that would not stand behind their repair work a matter of a few weeks later. Also, why would he not just used LocTite on it in the first place.
