Dale Hollow State Park Resort

Great buffet. The rooms are clean. Make sure to get the lake view. The ever have a pool.

One word for this place: Fabulous!
I spent the weekend at the Mary Ray Oaken Lodge for my cousin’s wedding. I had never been there so I had no idea what to expect. Needless to say my expectations were met.
The resort is nestled back in the woods and overlooks Dale Hollow Lake. There is a pool with lounge chairs, playground, and boat access to the water (from the marina, 5 min away). The lodge is well taken care of, the staff delivers southern hospitality and the only onsite restaurant serves Southern cooking at a reasonable price. All rooms have hair dryers and coffee pots and if you have a lake view room you will have a private patio.
If you are looking for a place to get away and reconnect with family and friends I recommend this place.
I will say that there is not much else around and if you don’t plan on going to the lake then you might get a bit bored.
