CO has a nice selection of wood and laminate flooring, as well as natural stone for tiling, carpets(which you can have cut to just be rugs), and a cool stone composite flooring that is easier to maintain than ceramic and much more resistant to chipping. We went with Carpet One for wood floor installation and a couple rugs with delicious padding. We worked with Howard who was great and very flexible, he would come out to see us or have samples ready in store, whatever we wanted, whenever we wanted. Once the flooring was picked out, the turn around time to get it installed was minimal, just the time it took to get the right amount in. The guys who installed were fast and cleaned up after themselves and double checked with us on how we wanted the layout and room finishing boards. Everyone, and I mean every single person who has entered the house since the flooring install just gapes in awe at the floor. No one has walked by or on it without asking who did it and can they get the number. Carpet One also has a lifetime warranty on their boards and installation, and they’ve been around for long enough for that to actually mean something. Also, while not everything is «green» at carpet one, they do have sustainable woods like bamboo flooring(which we got and adore) and a few other eco-friendly floor options. The rug we got is organic sheep’s wool from an eco-farm in new zealand or some such thing. All I know is it is super duper soft and looks great in the room.
