A consummate professional — I called one day as a result of having our 28 year old roof leaking. He was able to visit later that afternoon and was the only guy out of 4 I called who took the time to get up on the roof. Another guy went in the attic and looked from below — and 2 others stood on the ground and estimated. By doing so, he was able to better understand the condition of the plywood sub-​roof. Some guys suggested for a job of my size — they could have to replace 8 – 12 sections (at additional $ 65/​section) — Jim guaranteed I’d need no more than 3 to 5 (and then after all was said and done, he told me I only actually needed 2 and only charged me for 2). His price was competitive — but I had a good feeling about his willingness to work with me and could tell he was more of a «Main Street» type of guy than a «Wall Street» type. He went way above and beyond for me — we made our agreement on a Thursday for full roof replacement and the job was scheduled for the following Tues or Weds depending on weather. When forecasters called for an inch of rain on Saturday, Jim personally came out late on Friday afternoon (you’ve got to know with NOVA Traffic how much fun that must have been) and temporarily patched the primary leaking area. It wasn’t pretty — it didn’t have to be — but it 100% did the job and there was no additional charge –His generous efforts kept me from having any further interior damage. The next week, he and his crew were on time as scheduled — and Jim was up on the roof with the other guys nailing down shingles. They worked hard and were able to get done 2 hours earlier than projected. Jim sold me on getting the higher quality shingles — the price difference was negligible given the size and scope of the job and I feel very confident not only in the product, but in the installation. Jim lived up to everything I’d expect from a roofing contractor. I highly doubt you’ll regret calling him up!

Jim came to our rescue when the Blizzard of 2016 hit. We have a very low pitch roof and we were in danger of it collapsing with the weight of the snow and ice dams. Jim’s quick response and professionalism was a great relief!
