Internal Medicine and Allergy Associates

I have been going to Dr. E as my primary physician for several years and Dr. H. as my allergist for the last 5+. Both are excellent at what they do. Dr. Enelow has amazing patient care/​beside manner — even sitting down with you in his office as part of your annual exam just to talk about what’s going on in your life and health. Another great plus of the practice is the fact that all three physician assistants (who are often who you see when sick as opposed to scheduled) are fantastic as well — a rare find for a family or larger practice. They also all answer emails when in a pinch with a prescription issue or other small things that wouldn’t require an appointment. I definitely endorse this practice wholeheartedly.

I’ve been coming here for years and I love this place. I actually live closer to D.C. now, but I still keep coming back because I’ve always had great service with the doctors. I’ve been to all three (Sarah is the newest) and everyone is easy to talk to and knows their stuff. Dr. Henochowicz actually discovered my heart mumur (it’s very minor) during one of my routine check-​ups. Definitely a great practice if you’re looking for good doctors.

My husband, daughter and I have been using Internal Medicine and Allergy Associates for more than a decade. They are wonderful. My husband goes to Dr. Henochowicz most of the time, while my daughter and I go to Dr. Enelow. Sarah is great too. When my daughter was attending the University of California, she had some serious medical problems. Dr. Enelow helped me find a primary care physician for her there, and calmed my nerves as the information on her condition came in. I have no problem with scheduling and always get a reminder call the day before. The whole office is knowledgable, friendly and skilled — could not ask for more

Dr. Enelow has been my doctor for years and he is wonderful. Very easy to talk to. Dr. Henochowicz is his partner and also very good. Sarah is their physician’s assistant; she will most likely be the one seeing you if you call for a sick appt. All are very popular, schedule appointments well in advance if you need to. The one area keeping them from getting a 5 is the scheduling. The receptionist is not all that friendly and the wait (both to get an appt and once you are there) is a bit too long. But the care you get is worth putting up with that.
Updated May 2009 — They have replaced that receptionist with one far more friendly and I noticed the waiting room is running far more efficiently on my last visit. I’d give them a 4 ½ now. My only complaint — they are a little too stingy with the antibiotics.
