Enterprise Rent-A-Car

Terrible service and I rent a lot of cars from a lot of rental companies for business and pleasure. They closed one minute to closing time and did not want me to come in on a holiday weekend to pickup my car. Then, a customer pleaded and the gentleman at the counter finally let me in. He advised me he no longer had economy cars and I would have to pay for the upgrade. Black female from the back started arguing with me and insisted I needed to pay for the upgrade. I asked to speak with a Manager but they said he was gone for the day.
Asked if they would call enterprise in Dulles as a courtesy and they said their phones wont allow them to call Dulles. Then the gentleman did call on his cell phone finally but said there were no more small cars at Enterprise in Dulles with the matching rate. I got online on my phone and got a better rate at Dulles and great service at Dulles also. Spoke with Enterprise 1 – 800 customer service and they were very pleasant. Manager of this location Doug called me back but it was way after I had left. Definitely will never rent from this place or recommend them. Hope this lady will get an attitude adjustment and the other employees learn a thing or so about customer service. An embarrassment to Enterprise.

I rent 6 – 7 times a year from them for various business road trips. I like them a lot. Quick, friendly. nice cars. the only reason I don’t give 5 stars is that sometimes when you are renting the car only has ¹⁄₈ tank of gas in it. of course you only have to return it with ¹⁄₈ but right away, it is a slight inconvenience for the customer. so that’s where I would improve the experience for the customer. Otherwise, though, I highly recommend them!

I love, love this company. They make renting a car so easy and the prices are very reasonable. When I need to rent a car for a road trip or refer a client for car rental, it is a no brainer. Enterprise is my one and only suggestion. The staff at Burke is exceptionally great. They make renting a car feel like you are borrowing a car from a relative. They will come pick you up when you need the car and when you need to return the car as well. On Saturday after noon, they are closed so you just need to park at their facility and drop the key in the drop box. They will follow up with you Monday morning acknowledging the return. It is that easy! Will definitely use them again and again.

I used this place for my Rental while my car was getting fixed. Every employee I interacted with was wonderful! I interacted with quite a few employees due to needing to exchange my vehicle because of some car seat fitting issues… they were very accommodating and pleasant throughout the whole process. Superb customer service!

I have used Enterprise at the Burke or Springfield locations several times, often to rent cargo vans (you know, moving a college student around!), and love the convenience of their locations. Staff has always been friendly and efficient, and has offered to pick me up, drop me off, etc. Recently, the van I wanted could only be located at the Tyson’s shop, so they offered to take me there. Fortunately, a cargo van showed up before I could leave Burke.
I’d say Enterprise staff has the customer in mind, always trying to please. Sometimes the car they promise might not be available (some people do not return cars on time, etc.), but they always try to make it right.
Checking a vehicle back in is a breeze. Quick as a wink!

I had an emergency car situation yesterday that caused me to call Enterprise to rent a vehicle. I initially called the Fairfax branch and spoke to two very nice folks, who weren’t able to get a driver to pick me up for a couple of hours. As I was in immediate need, they helped me greatly by calling the Burke Branch to see if they could pick me up sooner. They indeed could and Doug at the Burke branch was able to quickly retrieve my reservation from Fairfax and have their wonderful driver Dee pick me up.
Processing the rental was super fast and easy. I was put into a brand new, immaculate Hyundai subcompact (I didn’t need larger) and was on my way.
Returning the vehicle too today was a breeze. Dee again drive me back to where I was staying. A very cheerful and polite young woman who willingly engaged in friendly small talk.
I paid $ 32/​day with unlimited miles, which friends and family were pleasantly surprised to hear.
I had exceptional customer service and would gladly use them again.

Enterprise did refund me the money I paid and the car dealer paid the end result was good. I appreciate enterprises quick response to me thank you!

Just want to compliment you guys on outstanding customer service. I needed an SUV to accommodate 7 people — they had it ready and waiting — perfect vehicle. I could not be more pleased when I returned the vehicle and they took care of me just as they said they would. I am not sure I have ever had a better rental experience.

Let me tell you a story. I booked a car on-​line at this location at 7:30 AM. My car is in the shop. I called to be picked up… since their advertising is always bragging about the service. The phone rang and rang. I called back… nothing. I called the 800 number who tried to call them. After 10 minutes they told me they could not reach the store and that they would call their neighboring store in Springfield and see if they could reach them. The person at the Springfield store told me that he would call them and contact me when they were on the way to pick me up. At this point I have spent 40 mins. I never heard back and got my neighbor to drop me. I waited for 20 more mins. It is now 11:00AM and I had an appointment in Leesburg at 12:00PM. I get to the counter when the man tells me… wait for it…“We have no cars available and that the on-​line reservation system should have reflected that.” Now he is calling the other locations. Apparently, there were no cars, «of any type» available in the whole Northern VA area. I give up and cancel my 12:00PM appointment and ask for a lift home. I express my disappointment and he expresses his. He tells me that they are waiting out front to ride me home. I climb into the car and notice it is the exact type of car that I reserved. I asked the driver if this was indeed a rental car. He says yes and that he has rented it himself since his car is in the shop… Do you freaking believe this, you can’t make this stuff up. Customer service here stinks! Do Not Rent from them if you are in a pinch, cause they will leave you in the larch every time!

The guys who work at this location are SO friendly. They make sure that every customer who walks through the door is helped. They apologize if there is a delay in getting your car. They go over the ‘infamous’ car insurance, and their cars are clean. I definitely recommend this local place!
