Tims Sport Cards

Went to Tims for the first time, looking for sports cards, as indicated in their name. Woefully lacking in cards. I was looking for literally any football hobby box. The guy working there had no idea what I was talking about. I had to ask because they didn’t appear to have any unopened boxes. So I just pointed and grunted at what I was interested in.
The prices weren’t very good either. I got 4 packs of «Topps Platinum». Online, a box goes for $ 90 now, thought the MSRP is $ 100. They were wanting $ 130 or $ 7 per pack. Of course they didn’t have any full boxes for sale.
Their single cards were poorly priced, too. Cards should be below book and a good shop should have a variety of graded cards. A lot of the cards weren’t even priced.
They did seem to have a decent selection of Magic the Gathering cards from what I could tell, but I don’t collect magic. They also had a decent selection of sports memorabilia (signed balls and what have you), not sure if any of them have COAs or are at all legit.
I’ll probably go there for sleeves and sliders and maybe different displays, will not buy cards from there again. Very disapointing.
