Never returned my call when I asked for an appointment. Im looking for a complete redo if my super long hair into a shorter cut and dofferent color after a big change in my life. Wouldnt a small business at least respond and say they are too busy. Hope all is well. Will take business elsewhere. Too bad.

Five motha f****n’ stars for this gal. Went to Scarlet to get a cut from a previous salon fixed, and wouldn’t you know it Scarlet was able to give me the cut I wanted in the first place. I went in with a list of questions as I decided I’d like to go back to coloring my own hair and she was super helpful. Any time I have told a stylist I wanted to color my own hair they would immediately shoot the idea down and only recommend their own services. To an extent I get this, but we don’t all s**t gold and getting hair professionally colored is pricey. Scarlet recommended colors, salon brands, products, explained about using the right developer, everything to get me going. Her home-​based salon is super chill, she is super chill, I cannot recommend Scarlet enough.

Scarlet has been doing my hair for approximately 5 yrs now. I initially started seeing her when she worked at Vain, followed her to Radar and just had my first appointment in her new home salon! I honestly cannot say enough great things about her! She is very laid back and extremely comfortable to work with. She gives honest feedback and opinions and I appreciate that she understands me well enough and is comfortable telling me what will/won’t work for my hair. I have fine, wavy/​curly, dirty blonde hair and see her regularly for a full foil bleach and cuts (she’s amazing with blonde hair!). My hair endures a lot of daily damage from heat (and not to mention the bleach) and it’s never been or looked healthier and I attribute that to her work and product recommendations. She’s the first stylist I’ve had that gives me good, honest advice and feedback even on care and maintenance between appointments.
I’m so happy Scarlet has opened her own salon! The space is very stylish and cozy, not to mention extremely easy to find and access. I live downtown Seattle and was able to make it there within 10 – 15 mins, so it’s very reasonable considering it takes that long even to access some areas within the downtown area. If you’re looking for a comfortable, honest and FANTASTIC stylist in a relaxing salon, Scarlet is your girl!

Scarlet is beyond amazing at her job! She knows exactly how I like my hair, and I always leave feeling like I look way better than everyone else. Snotty… I know. But to have such a creative, lovely, friendly stylist such as her is a true blessing. Anyone who books an appointment with her will not be disappointed, I promise!

Scarlet is the best. Don’t let the idea of a home salon keep you away. Scarlet is professional, creative, and comfortable. It’s an intimate oasis for me and my hair! She does color, cuts, treatments, the works. Scarlet listens and works with me to figure out what’s best for my hair. I don’t trust anyone else. I let someone else do my color one time and I went running back to Scarlet! Her new salon is fantastic and her online scheduling with StyleSeat is really cool :)

I’ve been getting my hair cut with Scarlet for almost a year now and I’ve loved everything she’s done! From a drastic chop, to highlights, to helping me grow it back out, I’ve always been happy! I’ve never had so many compliments, especially on my shorter cuts. I definitely recommend her!

I started seeing Scarlet in 2010 when I called the salon where she worked looking for someone who specialized in thin, fine hair.
For a very reasonable price, Scarlet washed, conditioned, cut, and styled my hair, while giving me tips and pointers for what to do with it (since it doesn’t like to hold any style but flat). I felt very comfortable letting her pick the style and cut, and she talked me through everything she was going to be doing. She let me know which products she liked without trying to push a sale on me.
I left with a fantastic, affordable hair cut that I’ve gotten many compliments on. I also purchased a few products and liked them all.
When Scarlet moved to a different location, I followed her and it was definitely worth the extra trek! She is a master of thin/​fine hair and I trust her completely. I’ve always been thrilled with what she’s done with my hair, and all her suggestions have turned my flat, boring hair into something wonderful.

Scarlet’s been cutting and coloring my hair for… oh jeez, like 7 years now? I get so many complements on my color and style — always. From blonde, to red and orange, to black and blue, to purple and pink, back to red, my hair always looks fantastic (and with minimal damage). It doesn’t matter where she’s worked, I have followed her there and I’m excited to see her new salon space!

Scarlet has been cutting/​coloring my hair since 2008! I never want anyone else to cut my hair, & I’m thrilled that she’s opened up her own shop!
Scarlet is always great at listening to what I want — it changes a lot — starting with the very first time I saw her and asked her to cut my mid-​length hair into a pixie cut. {I’m sorry Scarlet!} She handled it perfectly.
She’s seen me through butch & femme, & everything in-​between, & always knows just how to achieve the look I want — what I want doesn’t always fit my face — with my features and style.
I cannot say enough good things about her. She’s awesome, professional, & absolutely the best at what she does! Everyone I’ve sent to her has had the same incredible experience, which I think says it all.
