UPDATE: I have heard that this restaurant is back to using poor quality items and the food is noticeably worse. They did this a few years ago and lost enough business so as to require them to revert back to using quality food and giving good portions. I hope they revert back once again.

0 stars. I dont know if Lin is the manager or not, but she’s really rude. She treats all white people very nicely, but i notice she is extremely rude to people of color. Not to mention that their food tastes like garbage.

Nice people, nice atmosphere. Food was average, at best. General Tsao chicken had to spice & too much soggy breading. And fatty chunks. Mongolian beef was cooked perfect, but flavor was too mild. Serving size was good for sharing.

Service is great. Owners and workers remember your name and face. Food is good. Average Chinese restaurant

Sadly disappointed, the meat was all very rubbery and water logged. The fried rice had zero flavor and huge chunks of fat, worst fried rice I’ve ever had! First time we went there, was seriously craving Chinese food during a power outage, sounded like a decent place so we placed an order to pick up. If I’d been eating in the restaurant I would have asked for my money back!

They have a new bar area. We have dined here before. The taste of the dishes were pal mal at best; However,(SOSORRY) The bench seats have spring holes, but worst was the attitude of the server. We both ordered the same curry dish(Just can’t get enough curry) but to our amazement the young woman who waited our table actually scoffed(a loud«huff» in a scornfully derisive or mocking way.) What? Excuse me, but you just lost two customers… Like the owner told us once. «Burien is a ghost town», now you a ghost town too!

For the price, I would say, you get large portions. We really loved the Sweet & Sour Chicken. I also got the Mongolian Beef but wasn’t a huge fan. It was mediocre for me. Portion size however, can’t be beat! Definitely larger portions in comparison to their neighbor Oishi Sushi which I didn’t give a great review for.

Will have to write another review after trying other menu items. Tonight was won ton soup and BBQ pork. Soup was tasty. Lovely large order of pork, but was very dry I almost sent it back. Decided to break it into small pieces and throw it in with my soup. The broth did help a bit to soften it up. Seasame seeds and hot mustard, but no ketchup in the house. Usually mix some in with the mustard so it isn’t so spicy. There was sweet and sour sauce on the plate with the seeds and mustard. I am just used to having ketchup. And luke warm tea. Wasn’t worth my effort to ask for another pot.

I was introduced to this restaurant after 5 years of living here by my fiancé’s aunt. I guess I was too busy going to Chinese restaurants either in China Town or in Kent. Here’s my summary, and you’ll thank me for it: 1) If you’re into real Chinese food, please don’t come here. I asked for roasted duck, and the server said, «No, we don’t serve the dish here because nobody would order it.» I looked around me, and I saw 99.9% White customers. I don’t think White people would typically eat roasted duck. 2) Following from #1, yes, the Chinese menu is completely Americanized. My fiancé’s aunt said, «Well, we are in America, so we gotta follow the American way.» *a palm on my face* 3) I ordered pork chowmein, which was ok. I also ordered almond fried chicken. You’ll get a kick out of this: chicken nuggets with sprinkled crushed almond seeds and gravy on top. GRAVY on top… Oh man! How American can it get? :) 4) The reason why I don’t go lower than a 3-star is because it IS still better than Panda Express. The portions are very generous, and the prices are affordable. Hence, you are welcome to go to this restaurant if you have really bad Chinese food craving and feel lazy to drive to China Town or wherever.

The service was super friendly. The food tasted like food poisoning. Seriously, skip this place. Especially the shrimp. It tasted like it had turned.

I love this place! I have been coming here for years and I think this is some of the best Chinese food in the Seattle area. Their Mongolian beef is the best! The service is always good and the food comes out fast and hot. makes excellent left overs!

Found this place on Unilocal when we were looking to get some quick chinese food. The restaurant was clean and service was ok. We ordered Mongolian chicken, Sweet n Sour chicken, and General chicken. The mongolian and general chicken was good but the sweet n sour had way too much sauce poured over it. The pieces of chicken lost flavor and the sauce was very over powering and at times tasted too sweet. I think when you cant even taste the chicken itself you have too much sauce on it. We also ordered egg rolls to start with and those were really big but good. Overall the food was ok and not better than your average chinese restaurant.

The place is clean and so are the bathrooms. The service was good. The food was great. We ordered the number 1 and 2 dinners and they were both yummy and I would eat here again.

We went with the family after a day of gardening and working in the yard and feasted our faces off!!! We had sweet and sour soup, barbecued pork, followed by chicken fried rice, sweet and sour pork, garlic chicken and orange chicken. All were the freshest and best-tasting I have had in a while. I love the dining room there — it’s really well decorated and a lot of fun. A great film trip. The only reason I held back a star is that I wish they would have he’d slightly louder dining room music. It was really quiet and I don’t want to hear other people’s conversations.

It’s sooo gross!!! Only white people who eat at Panda Express go here, the meat is unidentifiable. I’m pretty sure I ate a rat.

We’re new to the area from Ravenna where we could go to Chiang’s Gourmet for some kick-ass authentic Chinese. Went hoping for somewhat authentic Chinese food. Sadly disappointed. In the future when we crave Chinese we will do one of several things, all if which do not include this restaurant: 1– suck it up and drive to the I District 2– substitute Thai or Phở for Chinese 3– go Americanized Chinese 100% and go see the ‘Panda’

People who have seen my reviews know that I am a service whore. I appreciate good service and many times its more important to me than the meal. This place gets 4 stars for the service. I have been here several times and the service is always great. They are quick and attentive. They go out of there way to make you feel at home. I’d give them a perfect score but the fried rice has and always will be terrible. I order it with my lunch because its better than steamed rice but honestly its not good. Their chicken dishes are always nice and their Mongolian beef is one of my favorites in the area. Over all solid 4 stars from this guy.

Service: OMG terrible. There was a sweet girl waiting on the other tables, yet we were stuck with the most impatient, grouchiest, snobbiest waiter. He talked so fast, cut us off, walked away while replying to our questions… I didn’t even know what I had ordered(what was in the cheaper single dinner) because he took the menu away and bustled off before I could ask what was what. Food: A mixed bag. Egg rolls were fine, the pork thingies(are they suppose to be cold?) were whatever. The soup was not good. Hot and sour soup that was slightly green and neither hot, nor sour? Which so much giant tofu that there’s barely any actual soup to it? Wonton soup was like water… Just a waste of time there. BUT I give four stars because the entrees, once we got them, were great. Fresh. Big portions. I hate chow mein, but this was so good, I almost ordered an extra plate to go. And the rice! And the sweet and sour pork was so light, and non-greasy. Also, with two of those single dinner orders, complete with plenty of food(whether you like it or not), tea, and soup, it came to about $ 28 for two.
