Fiesta Del Mar

No beers on tap, all beers are bottled; $ 5, even well tequila shots are $ 8 or more. Not what you would expect from a Latino bar. Service is average at tables, the bar is quick though. Most customers are average temperament, but if you’re a Caucasian trying to dance and have a good time, it’s doubtful you won’t find someone asking your heritage and calling you Gringo. Just happened to me tonight on a Wednesday before Thanksgiving. Overall mediocre. I wouldn’t have come here if it weren’t so close to home, and don’t plan on visiting again.

Esto esta chido este si es un buen restaurant de mariscos no como los otros de burien prueben la piñada esta rica de primera manó y la atención fue muy buena lo recomiendo

I had high hopes for a Mexi seafood restaurant. My husband and I could not find the door, there was no one to greet or seat us, no signs saying which to do. We sat down and noticed several patrons at the bar but not a single patron in the restaurant area… fishy. Menus have tiny print (I have ²⁰⁄₂₀) no descriptions, all in Spanish. A couple came, waited and left, before we were helped. I ordered a shrimp cocktail, my husband a fish taco. His fish taco was a deep fried breaded piece of fish on a tortilla with a little garnish.
My shrimp cocktail arrived it was looking back at me. Two unshelled beady eyed shrimp whiskers and all were setting atop my cocktail. Inside a tall glass was a pinkish liquid with what appeared to be white chunks of something floating in it (looked like sour cream?). The broth of the cocktail had no flavor, the avacado was very firm and unripe. The shrimp… were not clean. Big nasty sand vein, and I had to de-​shell the two on top and chef missed a few pieces of shell too. When I pointed out to the waitress that the shrimp were not clean, she said they never clean them. I even clarified in Spanish. Don’t clean their shrimp. Nastiness. After listening to our complaint the server returned and told us that our meals would come out of cook’s check. We won’t be back. Oh, and they are super over-​priced, especially for Burien, and we go to the city for seafood!
