Its hard to go to a urologist without having some labwork. Problem is, this guy uses some obscure lab that is NOT covered by most insurance. Did they tell me this? NO. Did I have an option to use another lab’s services? NO. Did they take 4 months to slap me with a huge bill and not even bother to call or mail me any lab results? YES.
I came in for mysterious recurring UTIs and Dr. Evans chit-​chatted for a long time about preventative measures that are either common knowledge or that I had found out from the urgent care doc or my primary physician. Nothing special about this specialist! He suggested moooooore antibiotics. I haven’t followed his recommendations and am doing fine now. $ 400 dollars down the drain I guess. Why?
