Cute little park nestled behind the Burien Community Center( ). The park was completely renovated in July 2015 with new landscaping and brand new play structures designed by local Burien business PlayCreation. The new toys include several climbing rocks, spinner, slide and swings.

Pretty decent park. The toy structure is wood and you can see it’s age. Also no swings. They have a long slide a bit away from the main play area. But on super hot days nice that it’s in the shade!

This is only for the park, I can’t speak to the Dottie Harper Art Gallery. The Park is next to the Burien Community Center, it is a 3 – 4 acre wooded area with paths and benches. There are some art pieces including a Large mural carved out of a huge tree. There is a gathering space, but it appears vandals have gotten at it. There is a small playground in the park, but it is visibly old and has broken pieces, not a place to bring your young children. There is a fun 20 foot slide on a little hill. Parking is at the Community Center, so you have to walk through the woods to get to the playground.
