Burien Tree Service

This guy is a crook and a flake! He will promise to do this and that and do nothing but take your hard earned money,!Here is my story… In October 2015 we had to have some trees taken down at our house in Burien so I called this guy, Matt McClusky from Burien Tree service. He showed up, cut down 1 tree and promised to come back the next day and remove the stumps of this one and 4 others that we had already cut down, and haul away the debris. He also promised to prune our apple tree, Japanese maple and trim some shrubs. Since then I have had 4 different occurrences where he has promised to do the work and was a no show. I was stupid and paid him for the work prior because he seemed like a stand up guy and I was out of the area to pay him after the work was done. He WAS returning my phone calls for the first 3 times I called to see if the work was done and making false promises but now that has stopped too.
Heed my warning! This guy is a crook and a flake! He will promise you this and that and do nothing but take your hard earned money!

Matt McCluskey with Burien Tree Service was excellent. I had three large Douglas Firs in my backyard. he came in low on estimate — and fully filled his contract on time. He is professional and straight forward. His work was done quickly and the clean up was awesome. I highly recommend him for any tree care.

Very pleased with their work! We have used Burien Tree Service several times now, as have our next door neighbors, and the work has exceeded our expectations each time. On time, cleaned up nicely, great prices. I have a yard full of garden art and they have successfully managed to work around all of it and my precious plants. I have been well advised when something was at risk and was able to move it prior to the work being done. I am aware of Kris S.‘s situation as she is a neighbor as well and strongly disagree with her review having seen the huge white pine and their yard before and after the removal. The owner is willing to give you lower prices if you wish to do some of the clean up yourself. Nice to have that option. I highly recommend Matt and his company.

Good prices, BUT this is truly «you get what you pay for business.»
Over promises & under delivers. Left a mess. Destroyed some of the existing landscaping (without remedy). Repeatedly requested a receipt, and was not provide one. Once they received payment, utterly ignored.
