If I could give zero stars I would. Here’s why this is the worst ice cream shop ever: 1. They don’t accept Baskin Robins coupons and they are pretentious about their ability as a franchise to accept or reject coupons or discounts. 2. This place is filthy. They don’t wash their hands when touching cones or wear gloves. The place general looks dingy, it either needs a good washing or a match thrown to it. 3. This place is far more expensive than your average Baskin Robbins. Even for a couple cones with a scoop each the price is more. I almost had a heart attack. Save yourself the gagging and disgust and spend your money somewhere else.

My car broke down in the BR parking lot, but the two employees helped me push my car into a lot and assured me my car wouldn’t be towed overnight. I thought that was really nice! I came back the next morning, and my car was still there. While waiting on the tow truck, I enjoyed a delicious smoothie. Thanks!

It was my sons birthday today and we had never gotten a BR cake before but there as a coupon in the mail. They refused to take it, we have a DQ that is just down the street that my husband is going to instead. We will keep our business to Dairy Queen and Full Tilt Ice cream. Was it really worth a $ 3 coupon not to honor it to lose the customers you are loosing? I think the company BR should pull their name from this icecream shop.

I will pile on because this location is terrible. No matter what coupon we have ever tried to use here they refuse to accept. The last straw was the one from our entertainment book. Once again they refused with no good explanation. The fact that they don’t allow you to use the bathroom is just another reason to avoid this place. My kid is about to piss his pants and they say no. Go to the one in Des Moines or go to the great fro yo place nearby.

I pretty much have to agree with the other Unilocal reviews. I love Baskin Robbins, but this one is way under par. Actually, «under par» is a really nice way of putting it. The customer service, cleanliness, and general business sense is just missing from this franchise. I walked into complete chaos. They don’t even have a bathroom for customers to use. This is a family establishment and that along with good ice cream should be a must. I don’t typically take the time to rate an ice cream place, but I left so disgusted, I just had to!!! Baskin Robbins along with it’s owners should be embarrassed.

Yep, this place sucks. Not Baskin Robbins in general, but just this location! They do not accept any Baskin Robbins coupons, as apparently they do not participate in any Baskin Robbins promotions! They charge a fee for using a card, the scoops and portions are small, the prices are high. But the worst part is the service! The guy was untrained, and the woman was stupid, impersonal, and had no people skills whatsoever! Avoid! Until now, I thought it would be hard to mess up the experience of getting ice cream… this place can somehow manage it time after time. Their days are numbered for sure!

very dissapointed with the tiny scoop we got for $ 3! The store smelled like fish and rice which had no place in an icecream shop. The woman behind the counter was very unfriendly. If you really want Baskin Robbins I would recommend the store in tukwila white center or desmoinnes. Dont support bad business.

Don’t think they know what customer service is. We did a special order and stated we needed a cake for about 16 people. The counter person recommended a round cake that served 16 – 18 people. We paid and left with a paid receipt that says«round». On the day we picked up the cake it we were give a rectangle cake that served only 12 – 14 and told that we were not charged for the size that was recommended so they made the smaller cake. They failed to call us, even though our phone number was on the order form. The female who gave us the cake was rude and implied that it was our fault for not knowing that the larger cake should have cost $ 49 not the $ 39 that we paid. Instead of apologizing she just said«do you want to buy ice cream». Because the cake was for our daughter’s birthday we just took it and left. We decided to order a cake this time because there have been at least 2 times when we have picked up cakes and the label indicating what flavor the cake is supposed to be was wrong. Don’t expect much when you go here.

One of the three freezers is being worked on(aka broken). Choices obviously reduced. The soda fountain machine proudly displays an «Out Of Order» sign. Upon asking, I was directed to the single wall mounted water drinking fountain. The employee seemed more occupied with her earbuds adorned walkman and/or talking on her cell phone than wiping down the four small round customer tables. Or sweeping the dirty floor you are welcomed with upon entering the establishment. Pleasantries are not wasted here. No ‘Welcome’, ‘Thank You’ or anything else heard from her from the beginning to end of our visit. And yes, still pricey. Three separate 2-scoop(children scoops) cups of ice cream cost $ 13.79. This visit seems to be a duplication of our last visit. Maybe it will be better next time. Some how ice cream makes everything better, for at least a brief moment in time.

As far as ice cream goes, B & R is good. You probably already knew that. This particular B & R is rated a one in my book because you are required to show ID to pay with large bills($ 50 and up), they do not take credit card and if you use your debit card you need to pay an additional 35 cents.
