World Empanadas

I had the ham/​cheese/​jalapeño and the Nutella/​banana. They were both very good. You can smell the empanadas from outside, it puts you in the mood for some of this good food.

Delicious empanadas and very friendly staff. Love coming here to get my empanadas fix. Chicken and spinach with cheese are savory.

Great tasting empanadas, tried a few different kinds and I like them all. However the breakfast burrito does need improvement to catch up to the near by competition (corner cottage). This new location is very nice. The staff is nice and helpful. If You go, enjoy!

Fist and foremost the place can be seen off the street and parking is a bit hard to find. I was able to park directly in front of the business (street parking). I was recommended this place by my Physical Therapy office and I’m so glad I visited.
The Empanadas are hot and fresh out of the oven to the warmer and placed in a bag immediately after you have decided what to get. They have quite a variety of choices and specials. I opted out for a spinach and cream corned empanada. They were both filled completely with goodness. I thought I could finish two but instead I ate the spinach empanada with a small side salad and saved my cream corn empanada for dinner. The empanadas were $ 2.95 each and worth every bit of it. I recommend that you come during the early part of the afternoon because even for a Friday it was a bit busy but had a 5 min wait. I can’t wait to try more of their empanadas. By the way zap them in the oven for 2 min and they will still taste like they just came fresh out of the oven.

This place is EXCELLENT. It’s small and very clean, friendly, and the empanadas are delicious! Good menu without being overwhelming, and I got my food quickly. I ordered 2 items from the meat menu and 2 from the veggie side and they were all delicious. The crust is flaky and the ingredients are fresh and we’ll prepared.
I’m definitely going to be a regular.

My dad and I were driving in Burbank and we saw this place. My dad loves empanadas, so of course we had to stop. We got 12 empanadas and they were all delicious! The owner was there and he was so friendly! I highly recommend coming in here!
They deliver in Burbank… too bad I dont live there. Maybe its a good thing though id be ordering every day!

Very authentic homemade empanadas. They don’t scrimp on the ingredients and quality. All the flavors we tried were all equally delicious. Highly recommend. A good alternative to bring to potlucks and parties. Had it for dinner three nights in a row

I saw a little sign while driving into Burbank on Victory Blvd from Glendale that said «Fresh Empanadas». Checked the place out where the sign was on my next trip down to Burbank. Ended up picking up some lunch as I love Empanadas. WOW!!! Absolutely the best Empanadas around. The place is small and is for takeout food only. The sauces they give you for the Empanadas is out if this world. Ask for extra sauce! Run by a family and located in the corner section of a pretty cool local Burbank liquor store. Classic old Burbank business circa 1950’s. Give this place a try. I always like to support small family owned business’s whenever possible, especially in Burbank where I grew up. Nice service, nice food and fair price. Really cool family run small operation. Call ahead to place an order 1−818−934−1820. You may have to wait 10 minutes for her to cook fresh ones if you did not get a chance to call before arriving. It is nice to see a business like this thriving in Burbank.
