Warner Brothers Ranch

I love this lot. It was a trip the first time I cruised around in a golf cart along Whisteria Lane, or driving down what was once downtown Grandview from Ghost Whisperer. I am not quite sure but I think this may also be the neighborhood in which the crazy kids from How I met Your Mother «live». i love the back lots and stages that flank the property keeping outsiders at bay. i like coming here just to get lost in my own imagination. That, and the café isn’t too shabby either.

This is a smaller version of the main lot. Within walking distance of the shopping center.

This is the smaller lot near the main Warner Bros. lot in Burbank. All the animation magic is done in to separate buildings on the Ranch and while this may not be as large scale as the main lot, it is cool to note that they do shoot some cool television programs on this lot.
For instance if you like «The Middle» you will find it interesting to see Elhert Motor’s where Patricia Heaton’s character Frankie works.
This is also the home of the original «Friends» fountain that was seen in the opening credits.
It’s a great place to spend your days and I especially love watching the facades of the structures changed to suit the episodes that they are shooting.
We actually watched as a large home like structure had a full pull put in, followed by a slew of large trees and a bevy of young extras wearing bikinis.
We’re like the mini me of the Warner Bros. family
