If you are looking for results, this is the place to be. I have been training with the owner for 8+ years now. Kirk Watt is not an aspiring actor, model or musician, he is a «real» trainer and he knows his stuff. He isn’t there to listen to your problems and collect his money, he is there to help you achieve the results you want. If you are looking for a «rent a friend» head over to 24-Hour Fitness. If you want results head to Vision Fit!

This is a real find. About the gym: Four years ago, I lived three blocks away from Santa Monica but worked in Burbank and VisionFit was the perfect place to exercise. Now, I still live 3 blocks away from Santa Monica but work in Studio City and I still drive to Burbank almost every single day to work out at this gym. I find this gym to be very smartly designed as everything is in close proximity and easily accessible. The atmosphere is friendly and light and I don’t believe you can find a cleaner gym than VisionFit. About Kirk(owner, trainer): Losing weight and getting toned was my initial goal. However, training with Kirk has slightly altered that. Now, being fit and feeling healthy and strong is the goal. Weight loss, getting toned and feeling good about myself has been a wonderful by product of that. To me, Kirk does not just focus on helping improve body image. At the core he cares about you living a healthy lifestyle. And he will push you and challenge you. The weight loss and the muscles will come if you trust and commit to his system. Overall: VisionFit and Kirk is helping me reach my physical potential and once there I plan to keep on going and breaking new grounds, achieving a condition that I didn’t realize I could achieve before. Along with the fantastic addition of spinning classes with Connie and Stephanie on weekends(I’ve never sweated so much), I’m excited at the new levels I hope to achieve.

OK, it was time to work on the«buns and thighs»… I had been looking at Vision Fit for a while(from the restaurant across the street) and figured it was high time I got my rear in gear, so to speak. I walked into the fitness center, and while the place is extremely clean and well laid out, the person who was behind the counter was on the phone, talking about his car tires, «will they be too high?, well, I want to talk about them, no, I want to talk about them… «etc. I stood. I waited, I shifted my weight(which I’d rather get rid of thankyouverymuch!), I tried to get his attention. I know he could see me, but it was one of those things where it seemed that he really wanted to ignore everything but his car tires. I waited 5 minutes, without a simple ‘finger-held-up-in-the-air-I’ll-be-right-with-you’ motion… it never came… more about his car tires… I left. I phoned shortly thereafter and said to the person who answered after 5 rings, «I’m glad you can afford to blow off customers»… He said«you could have been PATIENT!». He was right. I could have been, but for a company that touts ‘one-on-one’ personal training, their front office staff leaves much to be desired. I wish them the best of luck. I’m off to Balleys to give them my money.
