Teaze Hair Studio & Spa

This is a review for the older Armenian woman. I walked in earlier this week because I really wanted a hair cut that evening and the other places I looked up on Unilocal were full for the day. This place was still open. Facilities look very nice and clean and as the place was practically empty I was able to walk in for a dry-​cut.
After they said they would be able to do the cut right now I asked how much it would cost. Suddenly the attitude of the hair stylist changed. She stared blankly at me for a second or two before asking if I wanted my hair washed and then whispered «$ 25». Ok, kinda weird. If you don’t feel confident in your prices, you gotta work that out on your side.
From there it was down hill. I just wanted a simple trim! She was clearly in a bad mood because she kept saying disparaging things about my hair, first in a back-​handed way, then just directly negative. Like «this hair, it’s too thick, too thick» Um, it’s my natural hair and I happen to LOVE how thick it is! She also said that the thing I asked for (light texture on the ends using a razor or shears) was probably going to look bad but she’d «do a little bit under».
As she combed my hair she frequently combed my cartilege ear piercing without apology. When she blow-​dryed my hair she carelessly let it point at a single spot for too long, burning me. She didn’t seem to notice that I was wincing in pain.
I’ve had a haircut once before with a woman who was in an awful mood and she took it out on my hair. I tried my best to lighten the mood and be agreeable so I wouldn’t have another hair disaster just because this lady was having a bad day. I gave her a decent tip because it seemed like her day was already in the toilet, based on her attitude, and I didn’t want to be the one to make it any worse.
I’m sure there are many better places in Burbank to get a haircut.

I booked my appointment with Violet. She is AMAIZING! I went in for a full service. I was nervous at first just because I had a bad experience with having my hair bleached in the past. My hair was a hot mess ! She explained the whole process to me which made me feel very comfortable as I was nervous. The end result was an OMG moment I absolutely fell in love with my hair ! My hair was not damaged at all. It was super healthy and the color was just how I wanted it. Violet truly knows what she s doing and really cares for her clients hair. Super talented ! I have received so many complements on my hair and I can say Violet is the best !

So since when is it ok to make your client wait 30mims and then tell them u can’t take them because you accidental double booked?! Thank you Violet for wasting of my time!

I booked my appointment with Violet 2 months in advance to have it colored for my wedding. Three days before my wedding I arrived to the hair salon… super excited to have her work on my hair. Unfortunately, she forgot to show up. Everywhere else was booked as you can imagine. I had to color my own hair for my wedding. They gave me a BS excuse that she went on an «emergency vacation.» when you post your private life on your business page, at least come up with a decent excuse. Selfies in mirrors does not justify you missing out on your damn appt. One thing I cannot stand is bad customer service. Get yourself together. Or stop advertising your services. Some people have busy schedules & have no time to make last minute changes. Especially when you’re wedding is around the corner. I will continue to tell everyone of this incident.

This is my go to hair salon. I’ve been meaning to write a review and never got down to do it. First things first, the staff is amazing at what they do and I always feel like a million bucks after I leave. Its what keeps me coming back.
Not only for the amazing work but also because the staff is friendly, professional, and experts are what they do. They are up to date with trends (ombré, balayage, brazilian blowouts, extensions) And i mention all those because yes Ive done it all and always change it up.
If you need a new place for a fresh hair do… look no further. I highly recommend all the ladies from Violet to Klaris to Aida.

My wife had our daughters seventh birthday at Teaze. The place accommodated 18 little girls that were going to have their hair done, manicure, pedicure, make up. It was a blast for them.

Love this place. I am pretty bad about getting my hair cut regularly so I usually end up booking at the last minute, and as a result I usually get a different girl each time, but I’ve always had a good experience. They are really good about hiring competent stylists so even if I’m not familiar with the person cutting my hair I trust them to do a good job. They’re also reasonably priced for a high end salon. I’ve had terrible haircuts at other places that cost twice as much. Keep up the good work!

DO NOT GET YOUR EYEBROWS DONE HERE. The worst waxing I have ever had. On top of that, I have a wedding reception to host coming up. So terrible. Over plucked. Super thin. And little hairs still left everywhere. I looked better going in than coming out.

The staff is always very friendly. Tina is amazing. She will make your eyebrows look like a million bucks. ;) a true professional. Aida is an amazing hair stylist, my hair has never looked better. Both women have wonderful personalities and are always on top of their game.
