Beyond impressed today at a home inspection. Hillside home with VERY steep dirt hill and no stairs to access the sewer-line clean-out. Technician hopped a fence and climbed up & down the multiple times to get his camera equipment in thru the line and flag the problem. I’ve worked with a ton of inspectors who often have no hesitation to charge extra to go thru a roof or toilet to access the line, so he handled the risky dirty situation with humor & grace.

We mistakenly used these guys to do a sewer inspection when we were buying a house with a lot of old trees on the property. Granted, their description states that they ONLY do inspections and do NOT do any work. However, they charged us nearly as much as the other guys who actually FIXED the problem. They charged us $ 295 to make a video of the part of the sewer line that was not clogged and tell us that we needed to find someone to unclog it. But when we called Gary’s Rooter, they charged us only $ 375 to clear up all the clogs with hydro-jetting and then showed us a video of the UNCLOGGED sewer line. So basically, the original video was a waste of time and money. Why hire someone to diagnose a problem who will charge you nearly as much as someone who will both diagnose AND fix the problem? I recommend going straight to Gary’s Rooter instead.

First of all, these guys aren’t closed. Second of all, they rocked our sewer inspection — for the second time. These guys were so good the first time, we hired them a second time. Hubby isn’t a huge fan of rewatching that awesome sewer DVD, but lemme tell you — that thing comes in handy when you’re trying to identify issues in your sewerline! Jeremy Williams was our inspection at this second inspection, very knowledgeable, professional and nice! And we got a repeat customer discount. Bonus!
