You gals are not giving Prestige Nails enough credit. The owner Ann and her husband have worked hard to develop this business. This is my go-​to nail salon in the LA-​area: 1) they have solid prices and great deals 2) they have diversified by adding children’s nail parties and a hair salon 3) they re-​upholstered the pedicure massage chairs which shows they are reinvesting in their business.
Anyway two thumbs up from me.

I will not be returning to this place. I’ve come here on and off for a while now. Several months ago I went to get a mani and pedi, the lady that massaged my feet used a very hot stone. This must be a new thing because I don’t recall them using a stone on me before.
The stone was so hot and she rubbed it so hard on my heel I left in pain. Shame on me for not speaking up. The lady was talking to the other lady that was doing my manicure in their language and I felt ride to interrupt. It’s been months and I can barely walk my heel hurts so bad. The lady that massaged me pinched a nerve or something because now every time I do anything for long I’m in pain.
I tried to call the owner several times about this but she hasn’t been there when I’ve called.
Besides getting injured here, it’s very uncomfortable to be sitting there while all the worker talk in their language and one has no idea what they are saying.

I was visiting the Burbank area with my husband, as he had a meeting and I had time to kill. I decided to get a fill. The worst idea! Not sure about all the other manicurists, but the woman up front (I think the owner), Annie or Anna (I forgot), was so fast and didn’t follow through on the sides of my nails and didn’t start the fill at the bottom of the nail, so my nails looked like they still needed to be filled. I live in Calabasas, so I didn’t want to drive all the way back to Burbank to get them fixed, especially by her, so decided to go to my regular girl in Calabasas. One of my nails kind of just cracked off in the middle because the acrylic was put on so thin and so fast. Don’t let the reasonable prices fool you. You get what you pay for, and I’m sorry I wasted money and then more money to have them all redone two days later.

I go to this place because they give the most discounted massage in town and it’s amazing! All you do is turn around and lean up against a chair and tell them what you want and they will do exactly what you say and fix where it hurts. They have actually saved me from skipping events because of pain because they are so good. It’s one dollar a minute for massage so I usually get 30 minutes or 45. I got my nails done here a while back and I can’t remember whether it was good or not but I just rave about the massage! Unfortunately we moved to Encino and I doubt I’ll find anything like that here. Thank you ladies for saving my neck and my back!

They lost a customer this place sucks now, I even gave them a second chance. The first time I went I got a gel manicure and the lady put a lot of layers because she said the color I picked was eneven, I thought that was nice of her. They started chipping after 5 days, so I went back at 10 days and by then half of them had chipped off. She still charged me $ 5 to take off and redo. This time I picked a more solid color and even got a pedicure. I inquired about a sign posted that said pedicure/​manicure $ 25 and she said mine was $ 49. ??? I can understand adding $ 10 for gel and $ 5 for removal but what’s up with the extra $ 9? I gave her $ 50 and will never go back. As for the second time, the gel nails started chipping after 7 days smh.

I got the worst set of acrylics here. Not only are they extremely misshapen the color has already started to chip off, I have never even heard of your acrylic color chipping. The initial painting of the acrylics was horrible
To begin with though it is a dark color polish you can still see through it as if it didn’t revive enough coats. There is left over residue of the acrylic under the nails, very messy job. The clear coat they put on has seemed to bubble. I am very disappointed and quite honestly looking forward to them coming off.

Love the atmosphere! Everyone is so friendly. Liz and Marilyn do the best mani pedis. If you want acrylics, I definitely would recommend Tweety. I had such a bad experience with acrylic nails but tweety made them look so real! Definitely will be coming back again. Everyone is friendly!

I will be adding more pictures later from my granddaughter and my sitting. My cousin recommended Prestige a few months back. I drove 40 miles to come here and it was well worth it. Our specialist Mia was awesome. My granddaughter calls her sister now and didn’t want to leave. Full class and caters to young ones. Price is so reasonable. Making an appointment next month before my Lexi heads back to Texas. Thanks Mia!

Best nail salon ever. I’ve been going faithfully for over 2 years. The owner Anne is who does my silk wrap fills and Tweety does my pedicures. My appointments are always on time. The staff is friendly. A lot of family works here which is a nice feel. I lived in SCV last year and still drove to Burbank every 2 weeks.

If i had to choose one word for Prestihe Salon it would be FABULOUS! ! I stumbled in here 2 years ago and wouldnt dare go to another shop for my nails and wax… not only are they professional but there super friendly and the environment is so cozy. I personally am in love with Linda because she does my nails like nobodys business however when she is not available i know I am in good hands. I have never really been to a salon that actually sees you @ the appt time :)

I’ve been coming here for the past 5 yrs and I’m truly very happy with the care & professional manicure & pedicure I always receive from Linda, Mary & Ann. Another important factor is the safe, hygiene bags for my pedi! Highly recommend it!

Unfortunately, I have to update my review. The gel manicure I got started peeling off and lifting on four nails a week and a half after the manicure. A week and a half?! Simply unacceptable! My normal salon has them going well past week three, and even if I want to pull them off at that time, it almost takes a chisel they are on so well. After the four nails started to go, I was able to peel off the rest of my nails within 2 minutes. You definitely get what you pay for. I will never be coming here again.

We just had a Princess Dress Up Spa Party for nine 4 year olds and it was AMAZING! The party was easy to book, the staff were nice and helpful, and the room was the perfect size. Each girl was given a princess dress to wear during the party. The girls had their hair styled and nails painted; all with glitter. They were in heaven and then the make-​up came out. Perfection! It was truly a little girls dream!

Always a good experience. Tweety always does my nails. Always a good job. Tweety’s a sweetie. Good prices too.

Maria, Lisette, Danika and Linda where pleasant, patient and professional. I took my niece for a surprise mani-​pedi. They treated her like a princess and were very attentive to me as well. Being from the NYC area I’m not used to homie feeling salons.
The only criticism I have is that the place is a bit run down and the process is a bit choppy (i.e. Put flip flops on before painting toe nails, request payment before painting finger nails, etc.), though it is clean and hygienic, which trumps all else. My sister bypasses a few other salons to go to this one and I understand why.
They do nail art as well, which is a bit of dying art in Manhattan and I’m pleased that they did such nice design work.

I don’t know about the experiences those of you had, but all I can say is that I love the staff at Prestige. Tweety does my nails and waxing and she is THE BEST. I have never had more beautiful eyebrows thanks to her! The pricing is amazing, they ALWAYS have time to fit me in, and if they don’t, they MAKE TIME. Ann is wonderful, and so is the rest of the staff. I love this place!

Don’t waste your time or money here. This place was dirty and my gel mani is already coming off… Not even a week old! The staff was friendly but it all seemed a bit shady. When I asked who did the facials she replied we can all do them… Doubt they are all trained for that. Can’t imagine the dirty condition of that room. Never going again.

Despite the friendliness of the staff I will not be back. I have been here many times for my acrylics and I thought they did an ok job but when I moved I was forced to branch out and realized that their acrylics did not last long at all. While they looked good that day within a week they were already lifting.
I keep hearing how great gel manicures are so when I moved back to Burbank I decided to give them another try. This past Thursday I went in 45 minutes before closing I did feel bad that she was there so late by herself but I gave her a very generous tip. The next morning I wish I hadn’t done so. When I got a closer look at my nails they were an absolute mess the polish was lifted and wrinkly. Now less than a week later the polish has peeled off of two of my nails.
I am so disappointed that I did not spend a few extra dollars and go somewhere else. I will not be back!
