Alex is an absolute joy to work with and helped save our final post sound as we finished up Classic Alice (
). He came in, cleaned up our sound, and was friendly & upbeat the entire time.
When we got another season, we knew we wanted to work with Alex again. He was more than fair with his rate & a professional about the entire negotiation process. Love this guy and love his studio!

Alex Reeves, of Point of Blue Studios, is a versatile sound engineer who couples his excellent range of skills and vast experience with an even more excellent personality – approachable, modest, and best of all, incredibly professional. He is adept at understanding the purpose of your project and executing it in a timely fashion.
I’m a rapper and I came to him with three songs of mine that just didn’t sound right. I knew what I was looking for but I was unable to achieve the sound I desired. I found Alex here on Unilocal and I hoped the positive reviews were legitimate: THEY ARE.
He understood what I wanted, despite how difficult it can be to verbally describe a musical concept, and managed to work through the sludge of my poorly recorded and unmixed tracks to create three much improved songs. HIs mixing and mastering work was amazing.

Had a great experience with Alex at Point of Blue studios. I’m an actor and I needed an updated version of my reel. I had a few notes but I wasn’t really sure what I wanted so I let him take some creative freedom with the editing. Wow, did he do an amazing job! It was exciting all the way through, with quick cuts and driving music. He really stepped up the professional quality of my reel, and for a very reasonable price. Don’t typically go out of my way to write these things, but this guy is a pro and super easy to work with. Thanks Alex!

Wow! What a great experience. I saw the add for Point of Blue at a my favorite sandwich shop. I was curious to check out the studio, since the ad offers a «free studio tour.» I went in for the tour and met with the owner/​operator Alex. We talked about what I wanted and expected from my sessions. He made me feel comfortable and confident. It was still a little pricier than my budget, but definitely worth every cent.
Point of Blue’s owner/​operator Alex is such a pro! So, so knowledgeable, friendly and patient. We spent hours in the studio together getting my songs just the way I wanted them. Alex even brought in a studio drummer who was easy to work with and super cool.
After recording he mixed and mastered everything to perfection. I am so happy with the results. I recommend Point of Blue to any and all independent artists!
