Loved the tossed Caesar salad. We personalized our pizza with half white sauce, half pesto, then italian sausage, kalamata olives, shredded bacon, mushrooms, pineapple, and mozzarella cheese. Absolutely to die for, as far as pizzas go!

This is my absolute favorite make your own pizza! They only have two options of dough though(reg. or gluten free). The only thing is that it can be a little annoying getting in and out of this shopping center area, but that’s not their fault.

Coming out of my Unilocaly semi-retirement to say that I’ve gotten physically sick each time after eating here. Might’ve been a sliver of worth it if it tasted good, but no matter what I order, it’s gross. Third strike, you’re out. There are far better pizza places — even build your own pizza places — in Burbank, and I pity the poor fool who goes here right after getting out from the airport and has it as a terrible first impression.

The create your own pizza is great you start from choosing the sauce from red roasted tomato sauce, Alfredo or avocado fresco, add your choice of cheese mozzarella, provolone, pepper jack, artichoke ricotta, feta, or gondola, then a choice of up to five toppings ie; pepperoni, sausage, a variety of vegetables ie; mushrooms, green peppers, artichoke, herbs ie; fresh basil, cilantro, top it with a dash of oregano and black pepper!!:)

Very fresh! I got the California Veggy pizza… made fresh right before me and tossed into a really cool… er, hot flaming brick-style oven. Very fresh, hot, and delicious. This was my first time here. I dropped my wife at the airport and decided to try it out… I will be back!

Very clean establishment but this has to be the third worst pizza I’ve tasted in LA.(Eaten at 140+ places!). The toppings all looked a little tired in their containers(we went on a Sunday afternoon) so we just got a cheese pizza. The crust was extremely dry and cracker-like. The cheese could not have been real mozzarella. The taste was cheap and there was oil sweating out of it. Yuck. Sort of pricy for the caliber of food.

I went in tonight with an original coupon for a free unlimited topping pizza. Man, I was not disappointed. I have a pizza back from my hometown of Toledo, OH made by Marco’s pizza chain. Rarely in LA can you find a place that haas topping for everything… But they literally have EVERYTHING. A ton of different sauces — every meat, veggie and cheese suitable for a pizza. I cannot tell you how hard it is to find a place with garlic butter sauce and feta cheese!!! The guy who made my pizza was nice and was also patient while I rattled off my toppings from my phones internet search. My pizza smelled AMAZING in the car… And it for SURE did not disappoint when I got home!!! Best white cheesy pizza recreation west of the Mississippi!!! Nom nom nom

More like pie mediocre. Went for the first time tonight with my boyfriend and we were only the 3rd group in line. First two were ordering customized pizzas that they had to keep going to the back to get more. We ordered 2 off the menu, and then went to wait to pay while the pizzas cooked. Boyfriends pizza came out, she rang us up apologized that my pizza burnt and didn’t charge us. Re made my pizza, then he man working handed me my pizza and walked away. Stood there for another 5 minutes before I finally had to go ask for my second pizza. He had no clue where it had gone. For a place that touts«3 minutes for a pizza» sure doesn’t live up to that. Never mind the line, that can’t always be helped. But from time of order to actually leaving it was nearly 30 minutes. The reason it gets a mediocre rating is the food was good, but I won’t be eating here again. If I want to wait 30 minutes for a pizza I’ll order delivery.

From the outside, this place has gotten a face lift with better menus and a projection TV. I decided to try it out again. The light box menus looked a lot more professional than the paper ones that were taped on the wall a while back. Animation expo was going on across the street, so it was busier than usual(normally this place is empty when I walk by.) However, it was not slammed. Service was slow and again, nobody had a specific role there. By that I mean that, for example, the guy moving the pizzas was also running the cash register. The receipt printer wasn’t working, so it took me 10 minutes to get a receipt! The guy running the register already closed the order, so he had to get help from two different people in going back to my order, opening it, and then emailing me a receipt for that order. I can only imagine that the guy behind me in line was wondering what was taking so long with my transaction. As for the pizza itself, it has actually gotten worse. The good part is that the cheese, sauce, and toppings are still nice. However, the crust seems different than before and it was terrible. It was very bubbly while being cooked. When I got my pizza, the crust ended up being very hard, dry, and crumbly, like a tasteless taco shell. I’m lucky that I didn’t chip a tooth on it. The price hasn’t changed for a «create your own», and it is still a dollar more than Pizza Studio down the street. However, just be informed that it is no longer unlimited toppings here. The menu says that you can now get up to 5 toppings. For the higher price, I figure that you should get a better pizza than any of the competitors. Not at all the case. I wouldn’t be surprised if this place doesn’t make it past 2015.

Have been going here for few months now and seen such an improvement! I believe it’s under new management. The place looks awesome and the food is delicious. I ordered a salad today and couldn’t finish it for lunch. Fresh ingredients. It’s a great place for lunch and dinner, easy parking and great selection of items.

I came in with my friend to grab a bite before monsterpalooZa. We each ordered a pizza and sat to wait. We realized we had been waiting a while so we walked back up to the counter and noticed that our pizzas were burnt and sitting on the counter. A girl was starting to remake them. We asked about them and she said that they had gotten a bit over cooked and they were remaking them. Neither girl even apologized. Then when we asked to get spicy sauce she had already put on regular sauce without asking then piled a scoop of the spicy on top giving it a ton of sauce. It was just ridiculous. Service was horrible. No apologies for the mess up. And food was lacking. Never coming back. Don’t risk it if you enjoy good service and food.

Wow! What big differences 6 months makes! Place looks run down and just plain dirty… The girls behind the counter«chopping it up amongst them selfs» could care less about what is going on in the store. Dirty table, chairs, floors, walls and even the Sirachi bottles. The owner better think about cleaning house soon or he’s going to get cleaned out him self by some lazy employees. And how about putting up a real menu! Best of luck…

I went to PieAwesome Pizzeria on May 18th, 2015 for lunch with a friend. This place is basically the same as a Subway, but for pizza. We took two pizzas and were honestly disappointed about the quality of the food. Even though it looked good, it really didn’t have that much of a taste, and it really felt like getting a ton of calories for no reason. The restaurant was pretty empty when we arrived(It was about 11:30am) so there was absolutely no wait to be seated. The service was decently fast and nice. The restaurant offers a large parking area so it wasn’t difficult to find a spot. Their prices aren’t bad, but once again, the lack of taste kind of wastes it all. Overall, my experience with PieAwesome Pizzeria was rather negative and I would not recommend it since there are definitely better pizza places in Los Angeles. Feel free to message me for any additional details that you may need!

It’s «okay». The kids like it because it’s a build it yourself pizza place. Crust is very thin and the last couple of times it’s been burned. I had a groupon and an Amazon local deal so I sent my husband in to grab some pizzas since it’s too hot to cook… the staff refused to take the groupon/amazon deal that we already paid for because the owner said«he severed the relationship with them and doesnt have to honor them» WHAT??? I have already paid for these and the terms are very clear-even if they are expired they have to honor the amount paid. I have now had to file disputes with both companies and attempt to get a refund. They have lost a regular customer!

Located in that strip mall right next to the entrance of Burbank Airport so it’s a 7 minute walk to the gate. Free parking. Nice concept and decent pricing. They’re very generous with their portions. Their red sauce is terrible. How do you screw that up? They need to get that sauce Dominos uses on their gluten free pizza because even without meat, their sauce is insane. I’d give this place an extra star if the sauce weren’t so bad. It’s not a fun place to hang out in unless you have friends with you, but it’s super clean, modern and shiny. I’m glad I tried it but until I hear they changed the sauce, I don’t need to come back.

The best place to go for giant, burnt crackers… So, Unilocal is telling me that my fingers are more dexterous than this, and that they want to know more… Ok, fine. Don’t come here. If you’re already parked in front, be good to yourself and put that car in reverse and go to either Pizza Studio or Pizza Rev(both in Burbank), or Pit Fire in Noho, and get a better product for your $$.

Okay… so, keep in mind the only reason I came was because I got a free pizza coupon in the mail. First things first, this place’s first priority is definitely not customer service. I came in with my boyfriend and there was barely anyone in(Wednesday night at 6). There were two workers that I could see, but I must have been invisible to them because it took one of them 5 minutes to let me know she would be with me in a little. Then we waited for her to do some stuff… not sure what it was. Anyway, then she started helping us. The ingredients do NOT look fresh, at all. Not organic. Not healthy. Not even like they cut the ingredients today. The chicken is like scary cut up meat that I’m still not quite sure what it was and their basil and other greens were soaking in this disgusting water and when I asked for some, I watched her pull it out of the water and changed my mind so fast. Then it took at least another 10 minutes to check out because she disappeared again… Finally when I sat down another employee finally came out to help. Not too long after the pizza came out and it looked really good, but it was really disappointing. The crust doesn’t have any flavor, their ricotta cheese is kind of «soupy», for lack of a better word, and it just doesn’t really even begin to compare with its competitors such as Live Basil, PizzaRev, etc. I wouldn’t really recommend going here and I probably won’t return, sadly.

For dinner, I went to Pie Awesome Pizzeria in Burbank, nearly the Bob Hope Airport. What I found interesting is that it is quite similar to Pizza Rev, where you get to build your own pizzas. I was curious to find out who’s pizza was better, so I thought I’d give it a try. I ordered to-go, and had a custom pizza made with pepperoni, jalapenos, and onion. I even had them add this herb butter on my crust. What I really enjoyed about this pizza, was that it was ultra thin and crispy. The crust was packed with flavor, and all of the ingredients came together as a whole. The only thing I didn’t like was they forgot my ranch dressing, but other than that, the pizza was so good it didn’t need any ranch dressing. I was so full from 3 slices, that I had more than enough pizza leftover for the morning. I will definitely be coming back.

My lunch partner and I stopped by PieAwesome this afternoon. It’s located in a shopping center by the airport, along with Panda Express, Subway and Starbucks. There are so many toppings to choose from. I requested the spicy sauce, spicy sausage, basil, mushrooms, chopped garlic and arugula. My lunch partner had the entire kitchen sink. I really like the chopped garlic. There was roasted garlic also, but the chopped garlic had more potency. The crust is thin and the pizza itself is one size. I love this concept! Matthew was so congenial. He came to check on us to make sure we were completely happy.
