FedEx Office Print & Ship Center

We came here straight from the Burbank airport on Friday night at 10:30pm and we were tired! We just wanted to print the booklets and go to our hotel. Tino helped us out with the printing options and the supplies (stapler) for the booklet we were creating. We are also so thankful for Dennis who let us borrow his USB stick, otherwise our prints would’ve been nearly double the cost! We finished around 11:30pm mostly because I was fixing margins and changing images around on my laptop. We are so glad these guys helped us when we were cranky and tired! I am grateful for 2 major things: that this FedEx Kinkos was open until midnight (definitely saved us!!!) and for amazing people like Tino and Dennis :).

Desmond is a rockstar and is the heartbeat of this location. Super upbeat, super helpful.

Technically, FedEx is a self-​serve place. The workers there are usually piled with orders & they are not required to help or do your self-​service work for you. Desmond, was absolutely amazing! Not only because he helped me but he handled practically the entire store by himself. (There were about 4 or 5 more people that came in for his help after me). He cheerfully greeted people right as they walked-​in or as they were about to walk-​out; acknowledged those waiting in line by simply letting them know they’re not forgotten, handled everyone w/​all complicated issues — ALL of this simultaneously while cracking jokes joyfully. I’ve never met an individual with such high level of customer service skills, patience, diligence, & positive energy like his before. I was there throughout the entire rush & I was just in awe the entire time with his character. He really inspired me to want to be a better person. Thank you Desmond :)

I print pictures all the time and this place has a very easy to use self station for printing. Quality of the photos are good, not professional (as in raw printing professional). Staff is nice and informative. Clean store.
Open 6am-​midnight, so us late night owls can get our printing done when there’s no traffic on Riverside.
I also got my passport photos here as a walk-​in in under 5 minutes for something around $ 16. Painless and easy!

One guy in here was really great and walked me through the printing process with the prepaid card, being helpful and polite.
When I tried to get the remainder of the card cashed out again, waiting at a counter, the sales lady there first off completely ignored me, didn’t show any proactive customer service to let me know when someone would help me and when I politely asked her how much longer it would take she gave me attitude, mimicking my question. I was in the service industry for many years and couldn’t do my current job without applying integrity at all times.
Hence seeing a costumer care professional behave like that lady makes me doubt how she keeps her job.
This fedex is certainly understaffed for the amount of work they do. And they should staff more professional people.

Very, very confused and slow staff. Been in here several times and each time is worse than the next.

If I could give a negative star rating, I would. This was the absolute worst customer service experience of my life.
I came in to print a few simple 8.5×11 docs from my flash drive. I was in a bit of hurry and was hoping to quickly give my flash drive to someone at the counter to print out what I needed. (I had been able to do that about a month ago at a different location).
I asked an employee named Jin (apparently he is also the manager) for help with my request. He said I could use any of the computers to print my files. He was distracted fixing something and the other employee in the store was helping other customers. He didn’t point me to any specific computer or set of computers. After checking out the nearest stand-​up computer for a few minutes, I decided that it wasn’t the right fit for printing out my files. It looked a bit too complicated and had too many options on the home screen. I decided to go to the row of computers behind Jin to print my files. I inserted my flash drive, but had trouble selecting an option to get started. I guess I selected the wrong one and I went up to Jin to ask him for assistance. I said, «I just need to print out a few basic 8.5×11 documents, do you know which option I should choose?» He then said, «Why would you choose the option you did? That’s obviously not right. Here, you need to switch computers and choose the first option. I don’t understand why you would choose that option ma’am.» His tone was rude and condescending. I immediately felt uncomfortable and disrespected, especially since there were other people who heard him talk to me this way. I thanked Jin for showing me the option and proceeded to print my files. I clicked «accept and print,» yet nothing was printing. I again approached Jin where he was sitting and said, «I’m sorry, I think the printer isn’t working. Is it supposed to come out from one of these two printers?» He reluctantly got up from his chair and walked over to check out my issue. He said, «Are you sure you pressed ‘accept and print’?» I assured him that I did and I didn’t want to click it again because I didn’t want to get charged twice. He asked me again if I was sure that I had pressed ‘accept and print’, and I again assured him I did. Having him ask me the same question twice made me feel like a child who didn’t know what they were doing. Again, his tone was rude and condescending. He was acting like he didn’t want to help at all and that it was the last thing in the world he wanted to do. Once he checked out the issue, it was in fact something on their end (the printer was out of paper). He then went and reloaded the paper after a minute or two. Meanwhile, the clock was ticking on my machine, and charging me more money by the second for using the computer. Once he reloaded the paper, it took another minute or so to print my files.
Once I was done with the machine, I removed my flash drive. I also had to swipe my debit card when I started using that computer. Before leaving the store, I again approached Jin to ask if I needed to pay anything extra, or if all the fees were charged to my card. As I was asking my question, he interrupted me and raised his voice. He said, «Ma’am, you need to stop walking behind the counter! Don’t you see what you’re doing? You’re not allowed to be back here!» This was extremely rude and caught me completely off guard, since I had approached him the same exact way the last 3 times I spoke to him. If I had mistakenly gone behind the counter, why wouldn’t he have told me the first time I did it, when I initially walked into the store? It was rude, condescending, and passive-​agressive. It was also embarrassing to be yelled at by an employee when I was calmly and politely asking him a question. A few of the people in the store turned to observe the interaction. I said, «I’m sorry, I didn’t realize I was behind the counter. There was nothing blocking off the area, so I thought it was okay.» He proceeded to raise his voice and reprimand me for being out of bounds. The way the store was laid out, the counter was not blocked off by a belt from the stanchions. The poles were simply there, but no belt connected the two stanchions to imply that customers could not go beyond that point. I was trying to explain to him that it was an honest mistake, but he continued to argue and raise his voice. I felt extremely uncomfortable and disrespected walking out of the store. I told him I would post a review on Unilocal.
I then called to get his name and he was at first reluctant to give it to me. He inquired what the call was in regards to. I said it was a customer service issue. He then said that he remembered me and dictated his name. He also said he was the manager and that I could call corporate regarding the issue for all he cared. Well guess what, that’s exactly what I’ll do tomorrow morning and I will also place a written complaint. This is absolutely unacceptable. I will never come back here or any FedEx in my life.

When I really needed to scan and email a document before 8a. m I was super happy this place was there. Everything is very well organized and neat. Everything you need to scan, email, fax or ship is readily available. The only problem or disappointment I had here was lack of assistance when needed and amount of time wasted for nothing. I know it is pretty cheap to use the computers by the minute but I really try not to be charged for just sitting. First I had to wait for the clerk when I was trying to print something and couldn’t get it to work. He was helping someone else which was totally understandable. I could handle the extra 3 minutes charge but I was a little annoyed. I got over it. Next I needed to scan something so I was shown by the nice clerk where to go. I followed the tutorial on how to do it and then tried to send it through my email. I sat there 5 minutes trying to figure out what I did wrong because it wouldn’t send. It took another 2 – 3 minutes to find a clerk to help me. I finally find another clerk to help me. It turned out that sometimes their Firefox is a little glitchy. I was told to go onto Enternet Explorer instead. Another 2 minutes to log into my email and attach my files again. Finally I am done. I hate that I paid $ 12.08 for roughly 30mins of use but it only took me about 15 mins to actually do what I needed. It really irritates me… Anyway, if anyone goes here don’t use Firefox just in case it’s «glitchy» again.

David hooked me up with an awesome passport photo! He was really helpful, cool and seemed like he enjoyed his job. I don’t like having my photo taken by strangers but this was a super relaxed and easy experience.

If you are in a rush, this is NOT a good place for you to go to. It is short staffed and you have a wait in front of you. It is also not opened 24 hours, that is the only reason why I gave it a 4 and not a 5. I wasn’t in a rush, so I don’t mind this place. It’s clean every time I go in and parking is easy.
I hardly write reviews but this one needed a review regarding the manager or ast manager (not sure) DESMOND. HE is BY FAR the most efficient, energetic person I have thus far met in the area.
The day that I went in, I had a deadline and needed to fax something. The fax wasn’t working so I waited in line. He was alone (short staffed) and had a long line and phones ringing. He managed to get to everyone so that no one was waiting too long and irritated. It was AMAZING to watch. He shredded, faxed, copied, answered phones and built rapport with all 4 people waiting in line. Good Job Desmond, keep up the good work. I hope you get a raise or something.

Terrible service here. Only one person working and he wouldn’t make eye contact with any one in the line… speaking kinko side. The machines weren’t working properly and it seemed his best strategy was to avoid all customers

After the fed ex up the street closed I was forced to move to this location… Permanently! I was very nervous as my previous experiences had been less then decent. I’ve been coming her regularly for a little over a month now and I must say This place is definitely improving. The staff is very busy, but they are willing to accommodate and help however they can. I’m pleased with their improved attentiveness. Keep it up guys!

Finally! The laptop machines are fixed & excellent service. Shout out to Desmond & Tino. The best service I’ve received here in awhile. Great job guys!

I wanted to give my Uncle a great gift for his birthday. What do you give a person who has everything? I found a picture of the family when we were very young and he didn’t know the picture existed. I brought the photo here in the evening, the guy that was working the poster area was very nice and attentive. He scanned the photo which had a weird red color and he fixed the color to look brand new. WOW. I got a 10×10 poster size and when I gave it to my Uncle, it was amazing. I made my Uncle cry and everyone at the party. Thanks guys, you guys made the gift incredible.

Excellent service every time I go there. Yesterday, I went around 11pm to ship a camera. The guy that worked there was extremely attentive to detail and understood that the item I was shipping needed extra care. He made sure to extra pack my package extra secure so that my package would not be damaged at all.

Could really make up my mind if I like this place or not.
Nothing major good or bad happened mostly small stuff.
Some days staff was nice some days other staff wasn’t that nice.

They’ve got everything I can possibly ask for. Tape, scissors, paper cutter, stapler, paper clip, everything. Amazing. Well stocked. Was greeted upon arrival too. Isn’t that just cool? It opens til late too, and has a parking lot. Man, as good as it gets.

I went to this FedEx Kinko’s two days ago to pick up a package I had delivered there… my first observation was that there was no signage directing me to package pickups. I got in the line for package shipping, just hoping I was in the right place. There were two employees at the counter, each helping a customer, and there was one customer in line ahead of me.
I get it… businesses need to be more competitive… we are all trying to do more with less. But there are some situations where, when you expand the services you offer, you need to expand your employee base. You simply can’t have customers waiting for more than 20 minutes like I did for a simple package pickup. I was on my lunch break, figured this would be a quick stop, and I could grab a bite on my walk back to my office… instead, I had to rush back without lunch.
As an administrative services manager, 95% of my job is setting expectations… what should my expectations be when I go to a FedEx store?

I placed an order online for a 1,500+ page print. The order was scheduled to be ready at noon and I received an email that it was ready a few hours before. That was a nice surprise. Everyone is so nice here and extremely helpful. When I arrived at the location the rep suggested a few binding options to help me organize my docs. I didn’t even mind having to come later that day to pick it up.
I ended up picking up my package later that night and had another rep finish my transaction. She was also really pleasant, even though it was almost 11pm. It’s nice to receive consistent great service. Definitely my favorite FedEx office.
