I’m so glad to see that the 5-​star rating for this shop is unanimous! The books are soooo tempting (
), as is the collection of John Glenn memorabilia I saw this afternoon. The furniture and antique lighting fixtures take me back to my childhood, as I have many similar pieces in my home. Speaking of my house, I have been on the lookout for just the right lighting fixture to hang in my front entrance, and Adrian’s shop had just the one. It called to me, «Take me home,» and so now I’ve got it! When I went back to pick up this fixture today, I ended up also getting a beautiful black-​and-​white picture of the Madonna and Child. I’ve got two items, then, that will help me with my enhancement of my house’s California-​Spanish character.
Go! Go! Go! This is such a wonderful treasure trove, and Adrian and Mike are such gentlemen.

I cannot say enough great things about Adrian and Burbank Books and Antiques. What a Gentlemen. He actually cam to my house and went through everything i had as far as antiques. He spent over an hour at my place and even though he didn’t buy anything, he was kind enough to take his time and help appraise anything of value. That says a lot about a business man who obviously loves what he does and is very polite in the process. Thank You Adrian and thank you Burbank Books and Antiques.

Great customer service and great books. I make it a point to come to the store at least once a week during my free time. The owners never rush me and allow me to sit on one of the antique couches as I skim through one of the many treasures they have. Things like this don’t happen anymore. This is when you know that they do it from the heart. I would recommend BBA to anyone who wants to go on a blast from the past and imagine the times way back when.

Going in to Burbank Books and Antiques, I thought I was in a past from the greatest of all times! I am a person that needs things to be neat, this store is very neat. Being an avid teen reader, I always look for unique books, old, new, and everything in between. This store has that and more; like autographed books, very old books, I happen to get one that was published in 1927, a cook book, Stephan King novels, and others so far in the short time i discovered the store. Not to mention the extra things you that are so beautiful; and many with a story, like the jewelry is so beautiful and very well priced for the quality. I always look for this, things you can’t find in the mall. They also have fabulous vintage furniture etc… And to go even further, the owner is such a treat, he will be your favorite stop. So don’t hesitate, go check them out!

I recently moved to Los Angeles from the Bay Area and have been on the hunt for collectibles and rare books to decorate my new place. Unlike Billy Bob Thornton, I’m not afraid of antiques (he won’t eat near them or touch them) and I LOVE this store. It’s on Magnolia which is known as Antiques Row, but what makes this place unique is that Adrian (the owner) is extremely knowledgeable about both rare and autographed books and antiques. I’m a book lover and was absolutely in awe of some of the signed books and memorabilia that he has on hand. If you’re a collector of beautiful things, this is the place to check out!
