Had to try the hot pastrami, on a recommendation from a local. It met expectations. A generous chuck of sliced meat, maybe a tad too salty, but flavorful. The bread is soft and also nice, though a more hefty rye would be more to my liking. Very friendly service. Definitely worth a stop. Drive-through is a bonus!

Love this place! I stop here every time I’m in town and get a pastrami sandwich. I should try something else one of these days. The owner is cool too, ask for mayo and see what he says.

This was my first time in Laughlin so took a ride to Bullhead City, my mom took me here because she had been before. My first though was this is at a car wash can’t be that great, I was wrong! The Pastrami Sandwich was the best I’ve ever had very juicy and super tender. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this place to anyone you won’t be disappointed!

Found the best gyro in the tri state area! I have tried a few, some make them completely different. Everything is home made there, I had the lamb gyro with homemade potato salad. Very good :-) Go give them a try if you haven’t yet ;-) Also, the lady that took my order at the drive thru was very happy. She was very kind!

Very very salty Pastrami. $ 7.99 medium size was very small. If I didn’t live at the north end of town I would have taken it back

You want pastrami? Arguably the BEST you can get ANYWHERE. I’ve dined in many a deli, and I’ve been fortunate enough to travel & dine in easily thousands of places in my career. The HUT has the formula, «make a great sandwich and take care of the customer». Get away from the casinos for a few minutes, they are easy to locate, right at the car-wash. Essentially a drive-though. But you can sit & eat there, no problem. Staff is wonderfully up-beat & helpful! Call early enough, they can deliver, too!

Absolutely hands down the Best Subs! I always have the All American which is made on fresh bread, piled high meats & fresh veggies. This sandwich is far better than Subway!!!

Without a doubt, the very best pastrami sandwich I have ever had. Made to simple perfection. Light on bread, heavy on meat, topped right with mustard and dill pickle. My husband and I shared a large one and it was more than enough for lunch. Pay a bit extra for their potato salad… also the best. It sits adjacent to a great car, motor home, and dog wash… all in one place. Wash everything and have a delicious lunch. I hear their burgers are also great. We are winter snowbirds getting ready to pull out today but not before getting another sandwich to go for later down the road. P. S. the owners of The Hut and the carwash are friendly, helpful and fun.

One of the best hot pastrami sandwiches I’ve had to date! Wow, is often muttered between bites. Pastrami sliced paper thin, piled a mile high, perfectly cooked, just crispy enough on the edges, on a soft roll, just enough pickle and mustard to make it sing. And the bacon potato salad they make is a must have on the side. another favorite of mine. And its run by the nicest couple. They make sure we have everything we need and leave happy every time. The only change I’d make is to add some fries and onion rings to the menu. I am a huge fan of this lil place. It’s one of those meals you daydream about.

This place is great! Food is awesome and fast. The only issue is you have to eat outside or in your car so it’s not so good on windy days.

Wow! Ordered two med sized pastrami sandwiches and they were some of the best I have ever had. The meat was good and the bread perfect! Will definitely come back next time in town!

My wife and I are originally from California where we think we have some good pastrami restaurants. Since moving to Arizona we have not found a decent place to enjoy pastrami until we came here. They also have good potato salad. Looking forward to our next trip back. P. S. we live in Kingman Az.

This place is a gem in the otherwise ho-hum desert town of Bullhead City. As I always do when traveling, I hit up Unilocal for a highly rated place with cheap eats. The Hut had such good reviews that I crossed the river from Laughlin just to eat here. The Hut is very easy to miss — it is right outside of a self-service car wash, meaning your«atmosphere» is revving engines, loud trumpet-heavy music blaring from car speakers, and the occasional welcoming cooling by a fine mist from a water sprayer that’s a few feet away. It’s a tiny little hut with a few tables for(only) outdoor seating. Management has thoughtfully provided painted rocks(I can’t make this stuff up) to hold down your paper napkins when you get blasted by some of that notorious 110 degree hot wind. The Hut does a huge drive-thru business but the walk-up window was quick and easy. I asked one of the workers what I should order since I don’t like pastrami, and she suggested either the chicken sandwich or tuna salad. I told her to surprise me(she chose the tuna salad sandwich). Now I know what you’re thinking: «you ordered a TUNA sandwich at a divey CARWASH restaurant in the DESERT?» Yes I did and it was DELICIOUS. It was some of the best tuna salad ever. It tasted like a chicken salad recipe(mayo and sweet relish) but with fish instead of poultry. I told my husband if we had a cooler in the trunk, I would’ve taken some home with me. It was really, really that yummy. The bread on my sandwich was soft and tasty, and the lettuce was fresh, cold and crunchy and the tomato was firm and thinly sliced. I was taken aback at how fresh and high quality the ingredients were; I did not expect that. Bonus points: every sandwich had an appropriately briny, crispy, salty pickle on the side. My sandwich came with a small side of crazy good potato salad — red skinned potatoes with the best secret ingredient ever, BACON! The potato salad is as great as everyone says. Get it. The portion sizes for the sides are tiny. To save yourself another trip up to the window for a reorder, go ahead and get two. It’s really that good. My husband got a classic hot pastrami sandwich and liked it a lot, but the star of the show for him was the side of chili. It was all-beef chili(no beans, hooray), and was loaded with shredded cheese. I liked the chili’s flavor but it was super greasy. You could’ve eaten the grease with a spoon like soup. If you are a greasy chili fan, you will love this. It’s just not the type of chili I prefer. They also have freshly brewed iced tea and it is delicious. Note that there’s no soda fountain so if you order a soda, they just pour a can over ice. The three women working the day we visited couldn’t have been more helpful. They were patient and kind and answered all of our questions about the menu. I felt like they genuinely wanted me to be a happy, repeat customer. Super nice service! One last observation: I liked how all of our food was served at an appropriate temperature: the chili was nice and hot, my tuna salad was chilled, and the potato salad was perfectly cold. That’s sort of a weird thing to Unilocal about but it’s been a while since I’ve dined somewhere and all of my food was served at the correct temperature. This place is as good as the Unilocal reviews suggest. Good food, cheap prices, an unusual atmosphere and friendly employees. Check it out!

This place can easily get a 5 stars if it was just based on the food. But the older guy that works there(who I believe is the owner) is EXTREMELY rude! Doesn’t want to take the time to explain anything. When he’s asking the customer their orders he has a weird hand gesture that makes you feel like you’re bothering him. If he’s there keep driving past it. If he isn’t, make sure you eat there because the food is fantastic.

Best pastrami sandwich I have ever had. We moved from cali and used to eat pastrami at The Hat. We thought those were good but The Hut is much better, better, leaner meat. We tried the chili today too. Gotta say, it was DELISH! The owner is really nice too. Will definitely become a regular.

I grew up in California so I have a standard when it comes to pastrami. Living in Vegas now I have found some acceptable places for pastrami but nothing that really hits my taste buds or takes me back to when I was a kid. Until I discovered The Hut(not associated with The Hat in Cali) that is! Of course I would have to drive to Bullhead City, AZ to find it there instead of finding it in Vegas(yet anyway) and it’s well worth the drive. OK, so I don’t drive here just to eat although it really is worth it if you plan some other activities around it like swimming in the nearby river or going for a hike. I come to Bullhead for work sometimes and when I do I can look forward to stopping here for lunch before I head back to Vegas. This place is a local run family business. It’s a small building more like a snack stand or a «hut» that is next to the car wash. You can walk up and order(tables outside) or use the drive thru. The food is made fresh so it takes a little longer for them to prepare the food but it’s worth it. If they are busy then they redirected you to a designated parking spot(numbered and all) where they will bring you your food when it’s ready. The pastrami is what you should be ordering here. They come in different sizes. My wife gets the pastrami sliders and they are a generous size slider. I get the bigger pastrami sandwich and it looks to pretty to eat but then the smell hits my nose and I must dig in. This last time the sandwich seemed bigger than usual and I’m not complaining. The pastrami here tastes very damn good. The bread is perfect and holds all the juicy, tender, and flavorful pastrami, mustard, pickles, and cheese in it nicely. The girls at the window are always friendly and the prices here are good. Now come get your pastrami on!

Knowing we were going through Bullhead City I decided to look on Unilocal for a place to eat while there. I saw this place and noticed they were known for their pastrami. I glanced through the pictures and when I saw a fellow Unilocalers picture of a pastrami sandwich I knew my man would never forgive me for not telling him about this place. We love«The Hat» in Brea, CA for pastrami so the fact that this place is called«The Hut» and had a tasty looking pastrami we just had to try it out. Reading it was a local mom & pop place was a bonus. Since it was Valentine’s Day the sweet woman at the drive-thru gave me a rose and my man a piece of licorice. How cute! I started out with some«Broccoli & Cheese Soup» that was made from scratch that day. It was simply delicious. I would for sure order that again. The menu says they only serve the soups during Winter time so it is kinda like a special treat to look forward to. My man had the«Chili With Onions & Cheese» and that was also made from scratch. It wasn’t a spicy chili but was packed with amazing flavor. For a sandwich I decided to try the«Italian Sub». This was just too good. The Italian dressing on the sandwich was made from scratch and was so so so yummy. The slice of provolone cheese on it was thick. I can’t speak highly enough about the bread, It held up the sandwich and everything on it perfectly. My man had of course the«Hot Pastrami». This sandwich was for sure the main winner. Not very greasy and just plain good. If you don’t think you could eat a whole pastrami sandwich then they have sliders available so you can get a smaller portion. I was glad to find this place on Unilocal I would have for sure drove past it otherwise. It is the cutest little building. It is next to a car wash. They also offer breakfast and I hope to try that out eventually. You can phone your order ahead of time. Since they make your food right when you order it you might have to wait in a designated spot and they will bring it to you. Phoning ahead can obviously avoid that if you are on a time crunch. They deliver! If you wanted to eat outside they do have a small seating area with tables. If you are in the area give this place a try. Support a local business and cure that yummy for your tummy!
