Big river front park, would be great for kids. Swimming in the river, play ground, nice dog park. Pretty views. Picnic tables. Few homeless people hanging out on the days We were there.

Needed a place to let the kids unwind before the trip back to Vegas. The play structure was solid and had some chalets the little kids could not overcome. My favorite feature was the skateboard park. I wish I had terrain like this as I was growing up. The kids these days have everything. Another enjoyable partof this park is the amazing views of the Colorado River. I could see myself here after a long day. The lone tree on the hilltop with a bench and a view of the rolling river. I have to come back at night with an adult beverage even though they are prohibited. The park has many picnic structures as well as baseball fields and basketball courts. This park covers many acres, so make sure you take the time to explore and enjoy the day.

DONTGOHERE! Unless you want to hang out with scum… Although right next to a police station, people openly smoke pot, meth, drink alcohol, even signs are posted everywhere. Also kids run around randomly while parents get wasted. If you have watercraft watch it like a hawk, people like to pull the plugs and watch them sink. They get a kick out of it. Sadly this park is beautiful, but thank to the trashy people that use it, it is a disaster waiting to happen. Bullhead police need to constantly patrol this area especially busy weekends, but they dont. I dont like writing bad reviews but… I think it is important to atleast warn people, especially visitors.

Great little park in Lake Havasu. The playground is fun for the kiddies, the beach is right there and you can dip in the lake and drink your beverage of choice. On a busy weekend, lots of people flock here, but there is overflow parking behind the baseball field. On busy weekends there are also cops which we all know in Havasu is a must have on a busy weekend, unless you love dealing with weird drunk people :)! I think you aren’t supposed to have alcohol on a busy weekend here but I saw people with red cups and no one seemed to be bothering them. There is also a skate park. Restroom facilities are clean. Worth a visit, especially for the kids.

Very well maintained park, nice family area, something for everyone, basketball, playground, concerts at times It can be annoying when people do not leash their dogs outside the dog park. Inside the dog park, people do not clean up after their dogs and some dogs seem aggressive and not well socialized.

Today I spent time in the Rotary Park. Perhaps too much because I now have a sunburn. The Rotary Park is a linear park following the river. It is a continuation of the English Village walkway along the east shore. South of the London Bridge and the English Village, the scenery abruptly changes from an English themed village into a riverside park. Grass, trees, and picnic tables replace bars and hotels. On the river is the similar boating activity as the English Village. There are boats everywhere and the majority of the people on the boats seem to be living it up. On the sand people are barbecuing, playing frisbie, and relaxing in the sun. This makes for interesting people watching. And dog watching. Dogs are everywhere. Even on boats. The walkway continues alongside the river until the river widens into Lake Havasu. It seems that the walkway concludes at an overflow parking lot near the skate board park. Rotary Park is never too far from Arizona Route 95, which is the eastern border. There are a couple of multi-use trails that feed into Arizona Route 95. If you want to go on a walk that is a great distance further than the London Bridge, it is worth spending time here.

Havasu has never had good parks for kids until an improvement was made to update and clean up like they did this park. The Rotary Park was the stomping grounds for the local homeless and it was dirty. Since, they have updated the equipment and keep the grounds clean. There is a toddler area, big kid area, basketball court, fenced dog park and of course, a small beach near the channels opening that’s great for the kids. Best time to hit this place is during the weekdays. Weekends get busy and the crazy visitors from out of state come to the channel specifically to let loose. To avoid your child asking why that woman has stickers on her boobies, stay away on weekends and holidays! Otherwise, great place for the family!

This is a great, expansive park with multiple playgrounds, a skate park, a great boardwalk and tons of picnic areas right along the river. During the summer, there’s a cost to get in and it gets crazy crowded, but it’s always a ton of fun for the family. No booze allowed though, and they’re pretty tight with the rules. However, if you just want to chill with the kids, jump in the freezing water during a burning hot Lake Havasu summer day, this is a great place to go.
