My job required us to move away from Georgia. After being away for 3 ½ years we were very pleased to see that Lee’s Golden buddah was still there. The food was very good and the service was great. It’s also cool to have a place where you can order Chinese as well as Japanese dishes.

Omg!!! I was so shocked since they were unbelievably expensive!!! Ok, I admit if the food really tasted great for $ 20 a plate, but that wasn’t the case!!! So not good~~~~ I used this restaurant place out of convenience, but forget it I ll just drive a bit more for better taste n better price for sure. I am still so upset at this place!!!

I tried to give it zero star rating, but this site won’t let me. I’ve felt ripped off many times in the past, but never buy your run of the mill Chinese restaurant. Had lunch Dec.4(fri.) 2015… was going there for MoMoYa, but was closed and they said that it was combined now …(that should have been my first flag) I ordered 12 pieces of sashimi salmon, and 1 order of super crunch roll and Miso soup and a coke and hot tea. $ 45… I’ve had sushimi in Tokyo, Japan for less than that. The coke was flat. The salmon sushimi was half the size of other sushi bars I frequent around the Gainesville /Cumming area. The miso was ok but a bit on the muddy side. The crunch roll was amazing back when I use to travel there weekly to mo mo ya… but today, it was about half as tasty. The Chinese male waiter was strange, but quirky doesn’t really bother me… But I knew more about raw fish than he did… But when u come back to take my plate away when I still have 2 pieces of sashimi salmon on my plate(at the price I was paying, over$ 2/piece) let’s just say, he was lucky he didn’t pull back a stub. I was only there for about 15 minutes, but I guess they needed my plate, for what, I have no idea, the place was about 20% full … that should have been my other red flag. Maybe their Chinese dishes are good, but I would not ever go there for sashimi… save your wallet and go to Kani house or Blue Fin.

Loved the Mongolian beef and the Golden Beef. Was not that fond of the wonton soup but the kids ate it up loved the Pu Pu. Kids had a kick out of that. Nice quite place for some tasty food. Might not have a lot of people in there but it beats Panda Express hands down any day!

I used to frequent this restaurant years ago, but my job took me away from the area. Happened to be nearby at lunchtime, so I decided to endulge myself. WTF happened to this place? OMG! The food sucks! I feel dejected. Oh well, I guess nothing stays the same forever…

I came here on a late Friday afternoon and surprisingly, we were the only ones there. My brother and I shared the fried rice and black bean noodles. The noodles were a bit too bland for us, but probably b/c we’re used to having it korean-styled. On the otherhand, their fried rice is delicious! It had enough chicken in it and was perfectly cooked and seasoned. Price is a bit on the high side, but the quality of the food and friendly service makes up for it. I’ll most likely return with my family to try something different.

Pretty good. Friendly waitstaff. The hot and sour soup could have been a little spicier. The Mongolian beef made up for it! It was so good and spicy. The beef tasted fresh and the veggies were crisp.

It is all about the quality of food here It is a bit more expensive than some but freshness of the food makes it worth it.

i definitely was not impressed with my last experience i had been there before and found it to be a pretty decent place. this past time we went, when the cashier gave us our receipt to sign after paying a debit card, we noticed that he had written the tip amount and overall total for us !!! who does that ?! i had never had anyone do that, we politely told him that we had already left a tip and given it to the server. i had never had anyone write in a tip and decide the amount to leave for us at any place, i left very unsatisfied with the customer service

If you were smart enough to read the reviews first, you skipped this spot. The food is poor quality at a high price. I had sweet and sour shrimp and the shrimp were tough and chewy. The breading was overly plump and thick to make the shrimp look bigger. The service was at first surly and then non-existent once she brought my food(which came quickly). The rice was good. As large as this place is, the food is bad so I can’t imagine who comes here to fill it. Do yourself a favor and go down the street to the spot in the strip mall next to Lowe’s(near Walmart). Prices are the same but at least the food is good.

This is an older place in he middle of a strip mall and although it was not aging gracefully, they have remodeled the back room and it is beautiful. My spouse has been coming here over 20 years and the food is always great and with a varied menu it is always a gastronomic adventure! Last night we had the Thai coconut soup and it was fantastic. The Panang curry was rich and nicely spicy. I would this recommend place for large groups and couples because the staff are prompt and speedy!

I wanted to take my son for Thai food and the closest one in Buford was golden Buddha, so I took him there. Worst food ever! He didn’t want anything from the Thai menu, so he chose Phoenix and Dragon(chinese food). I chose the Pad Thai. The presentation of the food wasn’t good at all. The taste was the worst thing there. Their chips(appetizer you get for free) were extremely stale. Their fried rice was salty. Their chicken from the Phoenix and Dragon was bland. The Pad Thai was horrible. It tasted nothing like Pad Thai.

I really hate to say this but do not go here. I love chinese food. I eat it ALL the time. So me and my family decided to get take out last week. Our favorite place was closed due to renovation so we decided this would the best runner up. Not only was it very pricey but we all ended up with food poisioning. Me, my father, and my THREE year old sister all ended up with food poisioning the next day. The problem was from old oil and we all got very sick. My father was so bad he ended up at the doctors, who took blood and confirming our suspisions. Luckly my sister had the least of it, though it scared me because little ones can get very ill from something like that. We will never give them our money again.

I used to eat often at the Golden Buddha in Oakwood. I moved out of the area and I’ve never found another Chinese restaurant that compared to it until my husband and I were shopping at the Mall of Georgia and decided to stop at this location, not all that far from the mall. It definitely did not disappoint! They still have the best egg rolls I’ve ever eaten. They don’t put a bunch of sugar in the crab rangoon(they call them crab angles) like some Chinese restaurants, thank goodness! The potstickers are very good, but I prefer pan fried to the deep fried way they do it, and they don’t offer any other options. The wonton soup was tasty, although there wasn’t much filling at all in the single wonton, maybe half a bite. I can’t complain too much, though, because the soup was free with lunch. The sesame chicken was crisp and sweet, though maybe slightly too salty for my personal taste. And my husband’s sweet and sour shrimp was excellent! Only complaint on that was that there was no pineapple in it.(No pineapple in sweet and sour?) LOVE the fried rice. The second time we ate here, the food was just as good. I had the Mongolian beef, which was exceptional, and the house lo mein, which was quite good. Sweet and sour shrimp and sweet and sour chicken were great, but again, no pineapple? I haven’t eaten anything from this restaurant that I didn’t like, although some things are better than others. Décor is also beautiful, and the booths were quite comfortable. Overall, it’s a lovely place to eat.

I can’t believe the ratings. I love Chinese food and this was terrible. We got general Gau’s chicken. Asked for white meat and found out they added $ 1 to the price. Chicken was tough and lacked batter. Fried rice was dry and soup was dishwater. Never again.

It had been years since I’ve last eaten here. It’s nice to know my old delivery spot still does it right. The thai area has been moved from the hibachi/sushi side of the restaurant called Momoya and into the Chinese dining area. What hasn’t changed is the quality and richness of those thai dishes. The menu lists standard regimen of options but always done very well. This is the place that I had tried my first spicy basil and to this day still one of the best I’ve had in GA. Thai curry lovers should not be disappointed either. Rich but balanced flavors throughout. In my opinion the thai food here is Thai Norcross’ only real competition outside the perimeter. A strong reminder that my drive time is worth it.

I’ve ordered delivery from here three times now, and it has always been delicious! The food is always fresh and hot. I always stick to the Japanese menu, as that is what I prefer. Usually sushi just isn’t good when you aren’t eating it in the restaurant. But not from here! Their sushi is really good! They have great fried rice! And the side salad they give you is huge! I think it’s very reasonably priced. The delivery service isn’t the quickest, but it has always been within the time frame I was quoted and nothing has ever been wrong or missing! The only drawback… I wish they would lower their minimum order price for their delivery orders. Not always, but many times when someone is ordering delivery, it is because they are staying in and not eating with anyone else or ordering from the office for their self. At this place, sometimes it’s hard to reach a $ 15 minimum order when you are ordering for one. I think a $ 10 minimum order would make more sense, personally.
