Holiday Inn Express & Suites Buford-Mall Of Ga

Hotel is clean, rooms are appointed nicely with a comfortable bed, mini fridge, microwave and coffee maker.
Continental breakfast has a decent selection and the fitness room actually ha free weights. Some cleaning solution in addition to paper towels would have been nice though.
Customer service isn’t the best. My aunt came in person to reserve and pay for my room here, however the desk staff booked the wrong night and when I didn’t show up, they charged my aunt for the room. Upon going back to the hotel to resolve, my aunt was told that they knew they were in error, but the best they could do was reduce the amount she was charged.
I have stayed here several times, I have never seen all rooms booked and while staff is very friendly here from what I’ve experienced, I believe the handling of the reservation was to take advantage of a consumer who chose to handle reservation in an «old fashioned» way, which is unfortunate.

After driving for about 5 hours, and not having any plans on where we were going to stay for the night… ehhuummm… I thought we were gonna find a side road camp ground… lack of communication on both of us! Anyhow, I’m tired of riding and a little grumpy. My love is getting the feeling that this night might go south if he doesn’t figure this where we gonna stay the night thing out pretty fast. He pulls off at the next exit, hoping to find anywhere to stay.
He is a fan of Holiday Inn Express, so naturally when he spots this one, we are set! Checked the prices, we have enough points to get a decent discount! Score!
The very nice lady at the counter was super awesome! She got us in our room fast (I think she could tell we were beat). The lobby was very clean and our room was perfect. Just the right temperature, clean and the bed was comfy. Actually, it was a little hard for my taste, but I slept just fine.
This location offers a hot breakfast. The normal… eggs, biscuit and gravy, pancakes, cereal, yogurt, pastries… and COFFEE! Breakfast was decent, no complaints from our belly’s!

Hotel is great staying here for the Race but the breakfast is horrible the biscuits were hard as concrete and the turkey sausage can be thrown out get a good breakfast and it’s a 5 star deal

They always have hot coffee and clean rooms. This hotel is less than 2 years old do everything is in fairly new condition.
They have a convenient meeting room on the 2^nd floor.
The food is typical Holiday Inn Express food and the front desk staff are quite friendly.
It is approx 1.5 miles away from the Mall of GA so the selection of restaurants, in close proximity, are few and far between.
You basically have the following to choose from, which is walking distance from the hotel:
Golden Corral; Havana South; Pizza Town or Bojangles, that’s it.
