The nurses that do the lab work have always been amazing. I’ve done blood work there multiple times and they take their time finding the vein. They are not constantly poking your arm to find a vein like other places I’ve been too. It has been painless and I don’t dread getting bloodwork as bad as I used to!

My Ob/Gyn appointment was pleasantly quick, and the healthcare professional I had it with made me feel comfortable through my whole appointment. All of my questions were answered thoroughly and it was not awkward at all. I was even pleased by the receptionists. They made sure my contact info was up to date(which was a good catch because my email address was entered wrong!), which was refreshing. I recommend the Mosher Health Center to anyone who likes professional and quick appointments!

This review is for the urgent care, not the primary care in the same building. My visit with the PA was fine; my low rating is for the front desk and for billing. Also the nurse I encountered was quite mean. It was Sunday morning and I called ahead and they gave me an appointment right away. It was early and there was one person in the waiting room. I waited at least twenty minutes despite having been given this appointment time about twenty minutes earlier. At the front desk I was told I would have to pre-pay for the visit because I have a high deductible plan and the cost would be $ 65. When I left I asked if I owed anything else was told that I was«all set.» Lo and behold, I get a bill for about $ 80 two weeks later, after being adjusted downward by my insurance between $ 100 and $ 200. I was pretty surprised. When I called billing, they told me what I paid at the visit was a deposit and that it’s minimum $ 150 to be seen. When I asked why the receptionist doesn’t tell you that, I was told, «they wouldn’t do that.» I told them I would have gone home if I had known the visit would be more than $ 80 and they were unconcerned. Perhaps this experience isn’t unusual but I don’t know how consumer driven health care is supposed to work if all the prices are hidden and you don’t know what you’re buying or what the price is. No one asked if I wanted shot before giving it to me. The nurse was mean and I never got to ask, «how much will this shot cost and is it made from animal products?»
