The salon promised they could take 4 people at the same time and when we got there that is not what happened. They made one person in our party wait for over an half an hour ! It messed up all our plans and the flat our lied.

If you want a manicure that lasts without doing gel, ask for Deb. She gave me the best manicure and pedicure ever! It lasted almost two weeks! Thank you, thank you!

I visited the salon last minute for pedicure-they were very busy but able to accommodate me. Jen gave me a very relaxing pedicure-highly recommended. A little pricy but worth it.

I LEFTVOGUE!!! 1. Way over priced! 2. The business favors«regulars» and does not know how to treat it’s customers with respect! Snooty. Every appt. took several hours! 3. My hair was starting to disintegrate at the ends after color treatments! 4. Don’t waste your money! There are MUCH better salons in town!

I am a Vogue Salon«lifer.» I was originally referred to Whitney Jakabus for her eyelash extensions 2 years ago and had then transitioned into her hair care and makeup. Now, she’s my GURU for all things beauty-oriented. I am at Vogue almost once per week for Whitney’s blowouts, coloring, hair extensions, and makeup. I also get my gel manicures done by Rina who is also very pleasant and talented. All of the staff is very sweet and I can now call them not only my cosmetic advisors, but my dear friends. I have referred several of my family and friends to the salon who are all now as equally addicted. Keep up the great work ladies! :)

I chose Vogue Salon for my Buffalo wedding when planning from out of town because I had been there a number of times for highlights and haircuts when I lived there and had always been pleased with the results. It was difficult to pick a place for our hair because, while everyone has a favorite stylist, most of us don’t have formal occasions to attend on a regular basis to be able to recommend someone for an updo, so it was a bit of a shot in the dark. I had both a hair and makeup trial, which I would recommend if only to give yourself a chance to see everything in advance so you are not trying to figure out what you want on your wedding day. On the day itself they were very accommodating and allowed us to have snacks and champagne in the waiting area which made the experience really relaxing and pleasant. My hair turned out fantastically well, I got so many compliments on it at the wedding and from everyone who has seen the pictures. My makeup was great as well, not too heavy, just enough so I felt like a better version of myself and I didn’t have to touch up anything but my lipstick for the rest of the day… isn’t that what everyone is going for? I thought the price was quite reasonable considering the quality of the salon and the results.

When I’m in the mood for spa services(massages, manis, pedis, facials) I am hoping for a relaxed and calming environment. While Vogue salon offers many of the services that I am looking for, this place is primarily a salon that offers spa services. While I sat in the waiting room I was assaulted with the odors of various chemical agents that women use to tame their unruly mops. While I don’t decry the women for using such agents, understanding the needs for the same, I certainly do not want to smell that before I’m about to go into a state of ultimate relaxation. I’m also going to comment that I was forced to read a Cosmo while I was waiting as of the lack of availability of mens magazines. I’m now well-versed in the top 25 ways to please your man… but I digress. When I called to schedule a massage, they did not have any available, but they did offer me a body scrub that involved some massage. I of course jumped at the opportunity to be rubbed down and cleansed at the same time so I booked it. When i arrived they provided me with a pair of scratchy, medical looking underwear to wear during the procedure. I have had hundreds of massages(and a few body scrubs) and I have NEVER had to or wanted to wear anything during those procedures. Call me old fashioned, but I wanna be buck naked when I’m getting a massage. The last thing I want to think about is some sanitary underwear scratching my man parts while I’m trying to relax. Though the scrub was nice overall(in the sense the even the worst massages are ultimately pretty good), it was not a very relaxing experience and hence I will not go back. Plus, as I’ve mentioned in other spa reviews that local spas should really offer a changing room and shower area so you don’t have to drive home oily. Vogue Salon should focus on separating the salon and the spa if they want to contend with the big boys in the area, and for the love of god(and my man parts) lose the complimentary undies.
