Vito’s has a very creative selection of food choices, however, the quality of the actually ingredients is lacking. Luckily, the price matches that, so I still go there, because I know what to expect. Every week they serve different types of bowls, for example, a Mexican bowl with rice, your choice of meat, and only 4 toppings, which include the sauce. The portions are quite small, they are a bit stingy in there toppings. This cost control measure makes the food lack that extra flavor you may be craving. Their sandwich bar is a bit more generous, so if you’re looking for a full meal, I would head there. I wish that they would spend less on the décor and more on the food, and change their pricing, so you aren’t charged extra for a side of hot sauce. Have small things like that included, by far my biggest pet peeve.

Vito’s is a lovely market with a fantastic location right in Fountain Plaza. I stopped in here for a quick bite for lunch and was very impressed. They have a huge variety of sandwich options and specials as well has a salad bar and great soups. I had the Oh! Claire and honestly it was a fantastic sandwich. The indoor seating is cozy and casual, while the outdoor patio has a fantastic view of rotary rink and is great for people watching. I highly recommend this location and I look forward to going back.

Excellent location. Lovely area. Lovely restaurant. Some of the worst food in Buffalo. Cardboard, dry, tasteless… Had a chili dog from the grill. I’ll be nauseous for the rest of the day. Chili meat tasted like wood chips. Bread was hard and cold. Hot dog was a big tube of unpleasant meat. Sweet potato tater tots… completely free of taste. Hot dog and tater tots. $ 10.06! CANYOUIMAGINE?! The pizza is cardboard with sauce-like substance thinly applied. Toppings were still in the frozen food box. I’ve never ordered there and been even mildly impressed. The salad bar and their cookies and brownies are the only thing that saves this place. Excellent place if you have no taste buds.

Located in Key Tower, directly behind Rotary Rink in Buffalo’s downtown financial district. I usually meet coworkers here to catch up. It has so many options it is a safe bet when taking anyone out downtown. Some of their options include: Salad Bar Soup Bar Pizza Paninis Sandwiches Wraps Action Station(Fresh Carved Meats) «Bowls»” Pick a protein, veggies and a sauce to make your own dish. If you are getting a sandwich, I would recommend it on a wrap. The past couple of times I was here, the ciabatta bread wasn’t too good in my opinion.

Semi-decent food but it is a bit pricey and it definitely lacks personality. I wouldn’t ever choose to go here, but I would go along for the ride if a co-worker wanted to. I’ve eaten wraps, pizza, and salad here. There are certainly better options nearby.

A nice deli sandwich downtown lunch spot right in the Fountain Plaza. They have a huge variety of these bread-monsters with punny names like«Victoria’s Secret,» and the likes. Sandwiches average around $ 6 – 7 each and they are enormous. I ended up getting one with smoked turkey, avocado, tomato and mayonnaise on wheat bread and it was delightful. They have an outside patio for the summer and a large amount of indoor seating and the sandwiches are served in little baskets if you’re dining in. Check out the photo I uploaded of the smoked turkey sandwich w/avocado if want to see the size of these bad boys. As others have mentioned, they have a real turkey they slice the meat off and it’s not the standard deli stuff(although if you get the SMOKED turkey — it obviously has to be cured ahead of time). On Friday’s they have a fish fry special, which I haven’t tried yet — but that’s next on my list here!

Whatever you order, you MUST grab one of their little bags of chocolate chip cookies at the register. Since I started working downtown I will go out of my way just to buy their cookies. These are not your average chocolate chip cookies … oh no! They have chunks of chocolate, not simply little chips! In regards to the rest of the menu … everything I have tried here was excellent. I haven’t tried too many items but I can say that I enjoy their wraps. I’ve always had friendly service. Plus, you can’t beat the location: right at Fountain Plaza where in the winter you can watch ice skaters or in the summer sit by the fountain and small pool. They have a great patio for warm weather.

Great little place right across the street from my hotel in Buffalo. Delish turkey sandwiches… and none of that deli sliced crap. This is roasted, Thanksgiving style turkey. Like having Thanksgiving everyday! Yum. The Nana’s salad was also very tasty. A nice place to stop for a quick bite or to linger with sandwich, soup, salad and coffee!

This place was great. Was in town for business at the convention center and our concierge recommended it. Fresh sandwiches, made to order, a nice salad bar, and great soups. Prices were decent too. Lots of different choices, and VERY friendly staff. The only thing is that it was VERY crowded around 12:30, but we were still able to share a table with some people. All in all a great experience.

Vito’s is all the way across«downtown» from my office so I don’t get there often in the winter. It has a great tex-mex salad with a corn and black bean relish. Their chicken and turkey is «real», meaning not processed chunks. The turkey is actually roasted. Sandwiches and soup and baked goods and worth the walk(for me). I wish I worked across the street.
