Its alright there, but I had bought a deal thru them and because one of the girls there had left they wouldnt honor my mani/pedi and massage that I still had left. That was $ 100 wasted so I would never go back. It shouldnt matter of someone left, I paid the company, not the individual person. I would not recommend this spa for any services because of that.

If there is such a thing as a heartfelt massage, it is Allison’s. Give yourself the gift of her loving kindness.

Only see Joanne for a facial. If you do you won’t regret it. She does impeccable work and excellent extractions. She is highly knowledgable. I have had other staff members do facials. Just ok. If you do go to Joanne you will be happy.

With groupons in hand, I went here for a massage and a mani/pedi(god I feel inane just writing that phrase). Anyway, I had a massage scheduled with Sherell and it was nice(not quite as firm as I like but likely my fault for not asking her to up the pressure). My main problem is that I was really cold most of the time. She had cold hands in the beginning(which was kinda nice) but I felt the room just kept getting colder and colder. They didn’t have any additional blankets so all she could do was throw a towel over me. I helped but she must have noticed the goose bumps on my arms and legs throughout the second half of the massage. Then I asked if I could schedule a pedicure and because they had a cancellation, they just took me then and there. Vanessa did my manicure/pedicure. She is nice and personable and everything went smoothly. They have nice spa chairs and space out the schedule enough that you never feel rushed. They also have a lot of colors to choose from. I had the chocolate pedicure and I really don’t see any reason to pay extra for the chocolate service. There is a nice exfoliate salt scrub I guess but I think I would have been fine with the regular spa pedicure($ 5 cheaper at $ 35). Already scheduled a return session for a pedicure.

I’ll admit, I only drove out here because I had a Groupon and had to get my nails done for a family member’s wedding. I get 10 billion emails from these sites for facials, massages, nail and hair services so it gets a little overwhelming when you’re keeping your eyes peeled for the perfect service. I chose wisely! I was the last appointment of the day(thank you insane personal schedule) and was taken care of by Joan. I had a mani/pedi voucher and upgraded the mani to gel. It was my first experience and I was pleasantly surprised by how long it lasted. I was most impressed by the care that Joan took on the quality of her manicure. She said that she was a «picker» but I appreciated the fact that she took the time to tame my gnarly cuticles. When all was said and done, my nails have never looked better! She was also incredibly personable and we had a lovely chat about running and life in general. As I seem to have a little more time on my hands now that it’s summer break, I’ll be looking to book another appointment. Hope Joan is still there!

I have driven past Village Spa many times and finally made an appointment. The pedicure was lovely. The gel manicure was great. But, then things went downhill. I booked a 30 minute facial. I knew it wouldn’t be as relaxing as an hour long treatment, but time was an issue that day. I have never had a facial this bad and I hope I never do again! The facial massage was more like a deep tissue massage, it was painful. Then while massaging my neck and shoulders, she kept scratching me even though I told her there was a rough edge on her fingernail. When it was finally over, I looked in the mirror before leaving the room and saw mascara half way down my cheeks! It was horrible.
