Clean updated facilities. Feels more upscale than other local alleys. Helpful staff and prompt service. Food service always friendly and timely. Bday party experience was awesome. Planning was easy with help of girls I queued the details out with.

I had recently moved to Buffalo and was looking to take my out of town friends out for bowling. We had an error occur half way through our game where one player was skipped over. We had reported it and after some condescending laughter from the manager(his name was Bill I believe) the round was reset. This happened a second time soon after, but we didn’t want to be a hassle and so we simply ignored it. The third time this happened we went back to the manager and Bill simply denied to our face that it even happened. He accused us of lying and trying to get a free game. I’m a physician in the area and so is my wife. We can pay the extra $ 8 for another game. This had to have been the worst customer service experience I have ever had. We argued for half an hour and finally when we realized that there was no point to arguing with this bumbling idiot we gave up and walked out. Would NEVER recommend or go back to this place again. I had never been treated with such lack of respect before in any circumstance. I’m surprised Bill has a job in the service industry given his lack of social skills. Have already informed my colleagues not to go to this bowling alley and I would recommend the same to everyone else.

Cheap way to have fun with friends. Nice enough staff, $.75 cent games on Mondays and Thursdays, buy your own shoes and they’ll probably pay for themselves soon after if you frequent the alley. They have a decent supply of bowling balls for every size hand. The lounge couches in front of the bowling screens are super cozy and comfortable but too far away from the machine so you have to awkwardly stand hunched over while entering players names. They play good music, last night was old school 90’s and we were loving every second of it. The place wasn’t too crowded around 9:30 on a Monday night. Plenty of room in the parking lot and it was very easy to get the bartenders attention. We got a few pitchers over the course of the night, $ 8 for Molson, but we upgraded to Blue Light for $ 10, not bad at all. The bathrooms were really clean, the area around us looked like it was well maintained. This will definitely be my go to bowling alley when the mood strikes(ha, ha, ha)

On Mondays it’s only 75¢ games which I consider pretty cheap. The bowling was pretty typical, we had a blast, ordered some pitchers of beer and played about 8 games with 3 people. The only thing I wasn’t fond of was the nachos and cheese we ordered. It tasted like straight up cardboard. Blah Don’t order them!

Make sure you ask for the deal on the weekends – 3 games of bowling with shoe rental for $ 14.00…otherwise you will not get it and pay for each game and the shoes!

I took my daughter and her cousin here to Bowl. It was fun and everything was fine. They had a deal for $ 2 per game, which was a good price for bowling, I think their regular price is $ 4.50 per game, per person.

Came here for a small family birthday party. There were 10 people and we got 2 lanes. We had called to reserve lanes, but it was $ 50 just to reserve them! That’s outrageous! So we took a risk and just went and we were able to get lanes. It was $ 2/per person, per game. That seemed like a pretty fair price. We had my nephew who was 2 and so excited to play. He was able to get a light ball but when we asked for bumpers, we couldn’t get them because the heavier balls ruin the springs in the bumpers. We then asked if they have a ramp he could put the ball on so it would roll down. We were told this is only for handicapped players. I was annoyed by this because there is nothing sadder than seeing a 2 year old get less and less excited when he is getting gutterballs. Another thing that bothered my was they didn’t seem to have light balls, unless you got the child’s ball. I’m probably the weakest person alive and could barely throw my ball properly. I had resorted to «stealing» my nephew’s ball and just using that, or just tossing it with both hands between my legs. We did have a pretty good time though. It’s bowling, how can you not?!! I just think that it was unprofessional how they would not give us bumpers and didn’t seem to care about the child.

Went last night facility is clean. Staff had great customer service. The food concession were closed so pretty sad about that but tue bar was still open. The drinks were ok pretty cheap. Love that the lanes had sofas with them. Never had a break down with the lanes the entire time.

Ehhhh, the leather couches are a nice touch but fix your arcade section. Every single game there ate up all my tokens. A nice atmosphere and the staff is nice but the regular games here are relatively expensive. I believe they have special on Sundays like most bowling alleys so come then. Other than that, this is a little better than your average bowling alley.

Good bar, decent food. wipe the grease off of your hand before you finger your ball. Just kidding. If you want to have a fun time on the cheap, bowling is always a good option. Transit Lanes has $.75 games on Monday night, so it is a great excuse to get out after work, blow off some steam and have a lot of laughs. And a lot of beer. Please drink responsibly. Transit has a large bar area with arcade games,(Bubble Hockey!). Their bar has a great variety of beer, including local craft brews and is well stocked otherwise. Their restaurant service is very bar-esque. Mostly finger foods and sandwiches — it isn’t going to be gourmet, but for a bowling alley it’s pretty darn good. For the more serious bowler, Transit also has one of the best Pro-Shops in the area. Get on out and go bowling! Take the family, meet up with co-workers or friends, and have a little fun on a Monday night!

A great evening. We were in Buffalo for a wedding. 4 of us popped over after the wedding and bowled a couple games. The atmosphere is nice, the lanes were good, the price was great. We would all happily go again.

50 cent games on Mondays after 9:30! For three games and shoe rentals it’s about $ 4. Possibly the cheapest bowling that ever existed. Do be prepared to wait for a lane though. I’d suggest getting a wristband and heading over to the bar for some drinks while you wait. $ 7-$ 8 pitchers of beer? Sign me up! That’s the cost of a single bottle of beer here in the city. The bowling lanes aren’t the newest or the fanciest… in fact my balls often get stuck… but it’s familiar and gets the job done!

The best bowling alley I’ve been to in Buffalo hands down. I also went to Transit Lanes for the Cosmic(midnight) bowling. Like Chun L. said $ 14 bucks gets you shoes and 3 hours of bowling. Something to know though, you can only get your lane(s) when everyone in your party is present. I haven’t been yet during the week but I remember seeing a sign that advertised $ 0.75 games I believe Monday through Thursday from around 8:00pm to midnight. Next time I go I’ll check on this and confirm the days and time. The lanes are indeed quite technologically advanced compared to other bowling alleys. The terminal for inputting your information is a nice little touch screen and there is a comfy couch to replace the usual hard plastic chairs. There are tons of animations for spares, strikes, etc. which are fun, unnecessary, but fun. The bar looked nicely stocked, though we stuck to beer. A pitcher of Blue Light was $ 8.50 and they looked to have mainly the standard domestics on tap(Blue, Bud, etc). They also have some amazing french fries. I haven’t tried any other food than that, but these fries were some of the best I’ve had. A basket is about $ 2.50 if I remember correctly. Transit Lanes is definitely one of the nicer bowling alleys in Buffalo, the Cosmic Bowling is fun, but even the regular bowling would be quite an enjoyable experience at this very modern 10-Pin location.

Cosmic Bowling at Transit Lanes, an activity amongst none other. Cost: $ 14.00(Includes Shoe Rental) Time: Midnight to 3:00am(Friday & Saturday only) Check-In: 11:30pm Perhaps it was due to Cosmic Bowling on Saturday evenings that I developed a strong right shoulder. Nevertheless, the persistent repetitive motion of throwing a 15lbs bowling ball down a bowling lane did something to help improve my mechanical motion. The 52 lane facility is home to some of the most technologically advanced lanes in the Williamsville area. Each lane contains a state of the art operation center that allows for automatic calculating of scores, requesting waitress attention, and assistance for lane errors. All in all a good time was had.
