This is by far one of the best Thai restaurants in the Buffalo area. service was excellent and food was to die for! Just a heads up. they give you the option of mild, medium, or spicy for each dish. I thought the medium was a bit more spicy than what one would normally expect. I liked it, but not everyone does. Overall, a great place!

Hands down one of my favorite Thai restaurants in buffalo for many reasons. The food is remarkable, especially the chicken pud Thai– tbe perfect amount of spice and is mouthwatering. The Thai iced tea is always a refreshing and creamy drink to try– it’s almost a dessert! The wine and beer is also amazing, I love trying something new each time. The staff is also so extremely helpful and friendly– I may come back just for them.

I feel bad for this restaurant, the woman(and who I think is the owner) waited on us. She was so sweet but seemed to be juggling a LOT that evening. The Thai ice tea was basically all coconut cream(which don’t get me wrong, was delicious) but way more of a heavy dessert than a drink. The chicken in my panang curry was pretty gross, it was rubbery and just over all grossed me out. It’s a shame bc they place is beautiful inside. I guess I’m just spoiled with siagon Bangkok. I came years ago and remembered I wasn’t a fan but had received a gift certificate so decided to try again… I don’t think we will be returning in the future. I feel they have so much potential so hopefully they will revamp the menu and save the restaurant!

We attended during an AIDS awareness fundraiser. I honestly may not have ever run into this place otherwise(a friend was hosting so we made the effort). They were doing fast business — can’t tell if it was the fundraiser or normal. Plenty of take out customers so the locals must like them. A tablemate knew our server so our service was very familial. We had to wait a while for our check which would have been annoying under other circumstances. We shared thoung tong as an app — everyone enjoyed. I had a green curry dish with chicken(one of my thai go-tos) — nothing particularly remarkable but just as I expected. If I had occasion to go there again I’d certainly be up for it.

Better than Spicy Thai, for sure — but really not that great. Not really feeling it. SUN Burmese or Jasmine Thai — those spots have GOOD food. This… passable because you’re already there, you already ordered, and you’re already hungry. Otherwise, don’t go out of your way.

A cute little restaurant located near the Snyder/Cheektowaga border, King and I is a favorite of mine. The staff is always friendly and the service is good. They have a good selection of traditional Thai dishes — and of course, a fantastic Thai iced tea. My go-to items are the spring rolls and Pad Thai.(I know, I know — so original. BUT, when you love something, it’s hard not to order it!) Dine-in and take-out are both available. My experiences with both have always been good.(I’ve called in orders and been told only a 15 minute wait on numerous occasions. Perfect for when you don’t feel like cooking, but are starving and need something quick!) All this typing has me hungry and thinking I might need to call in an order tonight… ;)

Wow! Pretty much all that I can say. I had dined here many years ago when this restaurant first opened. I liked it however I didn’t «love» it. After a long hiatus I decided to get take out, the lunch combo platters, especially since my daughter was in the area picking some things up for me. I reiterate, I expected to be writing a crap review. The menu online did not wow me and there was no bun to be had, a favorite. I ordered the veggie Pud Thai for myself and The King and I house noodles for my oh so picky daughter. The soup du jour which came with the meals, along with a spring roll, was chicken rice. Being a fan of Tom Yum, I was annoyed. The soup, who thought that such a simple soup could be amped up with the simple addition of cilantro and mint! Chicken pieces and tons of rice made for a very good start. The spring rolls, small and dainty, were history within seconds. Then the food. My Pud Thai came hot, as requested. Flavorful and peanut laden — just wonderful. The heat was perfect and the tofu nicely fried. The house noodles were a mix of fantastic flavors, none overpowering just a wonderful blend of flat noodle that was delicious. Stew like. This has become a must re visit on my list.

Stopped in for dinner on a Tuesday night and for the first time I ordered something other than my go-to favorite. Arrived for dinner just after 5 and were the first people seated for dinner. We got there just in time because it quickly got crowded. Thai iced tea… so creamy and delicious. It’s like dessert before dinner! We ordered the #6 dumplings steamed(I can’t remember the name) and the fresh spring rolls. They were both delicious! The dumplings were huge balls of meat with great flavor and dipping sauce. They weren’t what I was expecting but they were so tasty. I usually have the Gaeng panang which is my favorite and always delicious. I stepped outside of my comfort zone and decided to try the king and I house noodles which were fresh and delicious! My friend ordered another Gaeng dish — the red curry which was amazing –great spices and assortment of veggies. I love this restaurant! I have never been disappointed here and the food is consistently good.
