Thank god there’s finally a bar in Buffalo with gender-specific drinks! I’m not sure how I would’ve ordered with my tiny woman brain if the menu didn’t specify which drinks were for the men. They should probably look into creating options for transgender people so that they can order drinks too. I’d write more but I have to go make my husband a sandwich now.

I eat down here every chance I get… seriously, I can’t think of a place I’ve ever had a better meatball! And there’s just something about the sauce, I wish the would sell it at wegmans, I’d eat it every day… super underrated when it comes to food.

Love the artichokes and meatballs! They’re my favorite. Atmosphere is great. Comfortable and classy. And the music is always good. I’m a regular and would definitely recommend this place!

Had an amazing time here Saturday night! As part of a bachelorette party of over 20 people we were treated like VIP’s! When we arrived the bartender Randy quickly served us all drinks. Soon after, the owner Sal offered us bottle service with our own table area near the DJ to make the night extra special for the bride to be! He continuously made sure we had everything we needed throughout the night and even served us some delicious appetizers as the night went on! The DJ was great and listened to all of our requests. Could not have asked for a better night of drinking, dancing, and great food with my girls! Staff was all super friendly and service was great! I will definitely be visiting Snooty Fox next time I am in town! Also, if you are a Buffalo native, try the Loganberry vodka!

Lame. Parking sucks(they have no lot even though there are plenty around it), the bar tenders were awful, and the acoustics are bad. I was there for a networking event on a Thursday evening and Snooty Fox was not stepping up to make it a good time. Myself and another gentleman were literally standing at the bar with $ 10 bills in our hands trying to order drinks, but the bar tenders would not look in our direction and would mess around with their backs to us or go talk to people at the ends of the bar. It’s like they didn’t want to take our money. I know it didn’t stop with us. It took 2 other people I talked to a ridiculously long time to get their drinks too. The event ordered finger food, but it was all fried and didn’t really look appetizing. Once I finished my wine I called it quits. I wasn’t looking forward to paying any more money to this establishment or even bother waiting for the estranged bartenders to maybe look my way. I will say there was plenty of room to hold the event, and it was nice looking on the inside, but it’s an upscale(ish) bar and doesn’t really stand out. It reminds me of just about every other upscale dated hotel bar you might wander into. I won’t be going back.

Im updating because I figured I would give this place another chance. Considering I did like the vibe just not the bartender. One thing please stop advertising drinks if you DON’T have the ingredients. Raspberry Mojito is SO good. But the last few times I went — no mint.

Average buffalo nightlife. Nothing exciting. Crowded and service was slow. Childish crowd. I’m 29 and found it annoying. Sound system was unbalanced and speakers poorly placed making the atmosphere too tense. Prices should be raised to make this nightclub the elite place it’s attempting to be

One word: overrated If you’ve heard a lot of great things about this place, it’s probably just hype. Pros: –Lots of people Cons: –Drinks watered down –Horrible service –bad dj/music Tip: you’re much better of drinking alone at home lol

I’ve been here a few times for cocktails and always have a good time. They have a few seating lounge areas which are nice and comfortable, but the floor is warped or something by the womens restroom, so that it’s hard to open the door because it gets stuck on the floor there. I’m hoping they fix that soon so no one gets hurt.

3 friends and I went to Snooty Fox on Saturday night for a girls night. We got there around 9 pm, and there was about 5 people at the bar, and a guy with an acoustic guitar performing,(he was really good)! We all had drinks, Gin and tonics, vodka teas… we all split some appetizers. We ordered the stuffed banana peppers, which were DELICIOUS!!! Super cheese stuffed, the best I have had! We also split the meatball, which I thought was okay, to me, I think their sauce is a bit sweet. Spinach and artichoke dip, very good and creamy, and stuffed artichokes with goat cheese, also very good. By midnight it was packed! The only thing that bothered me is that there was 1 female bartender that would charge us more for our drinks than the other bartenders. Otherwise, it was a perfect spot to start our girls night out!

This place is a gem! Love love love Snooty Fox! Went here for my birthday and def. do not regret my choice! I wish their happy hour specials on cocktails was a little better… But hey I would still go here after work even if they didn’t have a happy hr… It’s that darn good! I can’t rave enough about this place! The artichoke dip has to be my fav appetizer and the chicken and pesto flatbread is def must try !

Disclaimer: I have never dined here, only frequented the bar for cocktails. I came here last night for some after-dinner-beverages, and like always received noteworthy service. Whenever I come here, no matter what day or time I always receive prompt, professional, and accommodating service from all of the bartenders. I have been here for Sabre’s games, weeknight drinks, New Year’s Eve, and private parties. Everything is well executed by the staff at Snooty Fox. When you are there it is evident that they strive to take care of their clientele. Before you even finish a drink, the bartender is asking if they can get you another one(obv– in a separate glass so you can finish your current beverage). The atmosphere is contemporary, attractive, and lively. The crowd ranges from younger 20 – 30 something professionals, to an elder crowd as well. Early in the night it is a little more low key and spacious, with plenty of seating at the bar. Later around and after 10pm the bar and surrounding area fills up, sometimes making it difficult to maneuver. I have yet to determine why I haven’t eaten here since I love it so much. It just usually happens that I come here after already eating dinner somewhere. I do however have a gift certificate so I will hopefully dine here soon, and report back to all you Unilocalers!

Mama Mia! Thatsa Spicy Meata-Balla! MIGHTYDELICIOUS too! They’re called«The Best Meatballs You’ve Ever Had», and I think that might be true! They’re described as a «family secret recipe served with ricotta and fresh bread for dipping». Well, let me tell you that they just may be the best meatballs that I’ve ever had(and I’m a self-labled meatball freak!). PERFECTLY spiced, generously sized, just the right density, and covered with AMAZING tomato sauce… I could have eaten dozens of ‘em(well…not literally… they’re pretty big)! The ricotta on the side balanced the meat flavor wonderfully, and the bread WAS super fresh. The whole thing perfectly complimented the bottle of Malbec that the two of us shared on Friday night after a night at the theater. I had never been to the«Snooty Fox» before. Their slogan of «Where Dining Meets Nightlife» was pretty fitting. It was about eleven o’clock and the place was hopping. People eating, drinking, and partying made it quite the upbeat place. Our waitress was super friendly and helpful… and honestly appeared to enjoy being there(a rarity in most restaurants). The owner came out to see how we were enjoying our food(and that was appreciated too!). The menu had a great selection of appetizers, salads, flat-breads, and entrees. After our meatball we shared the«Chicken Pesto Flat-bread»(chicken, pesto, vine ripened tomato, spinach, and garlic topped with mozzarella and balsamic glaze). It was HUGE! Probably enough for three people to share… and it was BEAUTIFUL. Everything was fresh and tasty, but I found the balsamic glaze a teeny-tiny bit overpowering. The«Snooty Fox» is now one of my go-to post-theater destinations. Or quite possibly my ONLY go-to meatball destination. MMMMMMMMM… Meatballs!

My husband and I came here on a Sunday Industry night and were very impressed. We just got drinks and appetizers — if the entrees are half as good as the apps, then they have it goin on. The artichokes were awesome! We also went with stuffed peppers — which were delicious. Drinks were good — various martini options. Classier place in general. Great for happy hour or late night.

This is will be a fairly short initial review, more to come later… I really like this place. Sal is always a great host. I have always had very good service and the food has always been well prepared, especially the Snooty Steak. I’m not much of a trendy bar, loud thump thump music kind of person so I tend not to hang out with the crowd after my meal so I can’t really speak to that aspect of the business.

Quick Review: decent food, a little pricey for what you get. wouldn’t eat here without a coupon/gift certificate. probably won’t return for the night scene unless for an event or something. Long winded review: Hubs and I went here with two of our friends for a mini bday celebration for yours truly. Again, we had a coupon(can’t beat em!) and was able to take care of $ 25 worth of the bill with our $ 3 coupon. Nice! We ate late, purposely, so as to check out the night scene. We arrived just before 9pm. We were the only ones in the back dining room for the majority of the dinner, but another couple arrived as we were leaving. I had heard many mixed reviews from various friends – most boasting about the food, but dissing the after hours crowd. The Drinks: I had the desparate housewife – fruity with champagne or something in it… delish.(but was small for my $ 10 bill.) My friend had a pomagranate mojito – tried it, loved it.(seemed more worth $ 10) Hubs had a bloody mary – said it was better than most he’s had Other friend had jack n coke… standard. The Food: Table bread and dipping oil – standard, but definitely welcomed! We were hungry! The Snooty Salad – deliciousness! I’m a sucker for good salad toppings… «The best meatballs you’ve ever had»: Pretty damn close. Artichoke dip: different than usual, really creamy… served with toasted bread… yum Almond crusted chicken and angel hair: chicken was delightful… pasta, good but nothing to rave over. Shrimp scampi: Huge grilled shrimp, pasta, again, nothing to rave over. Buffalo Chicken wood fired pizza: didn’t taste it, but my friend was pleased. Chicken Cacciatore: Hubs gave his stamp of approval(he’s hard to disappoint though) I didn’t try it cuz CC isn’t really my thang. Canolis for dessert. the waitress brought out a plate of four, we devoured them and asked for a second helping all around!(they were small! haha) Romeo and Juliet’s are better! ;) The Service: Our little blonde waitress(forgot her name oops) was really nice, knew her job, and did it well. Very attentive, offering up suggestions for drinks as well as dessert. She said she has a problem with eating the bread in the back. I don’t blame her. The Atmosphere: I really liked the feel of the place, but if there was a full dining room of patrons, I may have felt like it was cramped. We were the only ones dining at that time, so it worked well for our group. When we arrived, there were about five people at the bar. By the time we were done eating, the five had multiplied to about 100. I was surprised by that! Also, my friends were all correct in saying that the food was good, but the after hours crowd is a little ridiculous. Lots of single old men just standing around by themselves – one actually put his face in my boobs as I was walking by WHAT? lol… lots of gold digging 30 year old girlies giggling in their respective circles eyeing up the potential man-candy …and a few cougars sprinkled in the mix lol the dj was mehhh… we stayed for one drink after dinner and scooted.

On the list of classier places in Buffalo, Snooty Fox is a restaurant that turns into a lounge with a solid DJ at night. It’s more of a place for the late 20s-30s crowd which is good when you don’t want to deal with the idiots on Chippewa. $ 4.50 for well-drinks, no complaints from me.

Great place to meet friends for a drink and talk, at least during the week. A very handsome bar stocked with all sorts of interesting liquors, and a reasonable wine list(with more than the customary merlot/pinot grigio/riesling that is evident on all of WNY’s wine lists). The tables downstairs are strange – sort of like those wierd-ass booths that the have at Le Mode/Le Metro that I hate. Good looking people hang out at this place, including me. I haven’t tried any of the food here.
