Park Edge Sweet Shoppe

Unbelievably good cookies… and I wouldn’t just say that. We got an assortment of cookies as a gift to our office and they went in a hurry (sans the oatmeal raisin… who really likes those!?). I only got to try the double chocolate but it tasted like brownie batter and was the perfect consistency. Amazing.

Park Edge is delicious! They make some of their sponge candy in long sticks (think like a giant Kit Kat) and then some in the traditional square shape. I decided to stop down and get some sponge candy for myself and the bf to share for Valentine’s Day (aka an excuse to get chocolate). We got the orange milk chocolate which to my surprise was not in the stick shape, but the traditional shape. Oh well… it’s still delicious! The long sticks are very good for those who may not like as much sponge and want to enjoy more of the chocolate. The chocolate itself is smooth and tasty, and the sponge is perfectly spongy! I also picked up some dark chocolate coconut clusters which are equally delicious because I have an obsession with coconut clusters.
I think Ko-​Ed Candies has a large presence in S. Buffalo, but Park Edge (two blocks down) is another great option for those looking to change it up. I do wish they had dark chocolate orange, but that seems to be rare at a lot of places. Prices are pretty reasonable for quality chocolate, but maybe a bit on the high side. Either way, it’s worth it!
