Ohm Ultra Lounge

I happened upon this place while visiting Buffalo and they were having a «Bear Night» event. I stuck around for a few hours and the locals were really friendly and made conversation. The bartenders were quick and efficient and seemed genuinely grateful every time I tipped which was nice. They also had the Michelob ultra which I look for everywhere in Toronto and rarely find. It’s not a fancy place, but it made for a great evening out.

This is not an especially «nice» or clean place but a great venue for smaller events. It’s not at dingy as say Mohawk Place but comfortably divey.
I have been here a few times for special events and I think it’s a great space. There’s a DJ booth connected to the dance floor. The dance floor is decorated with curtains and records on the wall. There are tables available for people to gather throughout the venue. It’s very intimate.
They have a reasonably priced bar and very friendly bartenders. They don’t really have anything fancy but they sell the basics. I usually order whatever Brooklyn brand beer they have on tap. I’ve seen PBR on tap also.
Probably the best part of this place is the outside patio. During the summertime, they have cushy chairs and tables outside in what feels like someone’s cool yard. It’s just as large as the inside of the bar and you can hear the music but it’s not blasting in your ears.
There is a kitchen here but it’s not always open. It looks like they sell bar food like pizza logs and the like.
