Metro Pizza

LOVE Metro Pizza. We started trying other places because we wanted a change. That change is over! We’ve never had a bad experience with any of our food, and our delivery guys/​gals have always been great. They don’t yell or sound rushed when you call to place an order — even though you can hear how busy it is in the background. :) I would recommend this place — and it is definitely my «go to» when I don’t feel like cooking or driving.

The pizza is good and its nice to find good pizza in a new neighborhood. I love the delivery guys expressions when I tip him. He is always so happy and it makes me feel good to know someone appreciates helping my family out. Good food and good service is hard to come by these days. Keep it up Metro!

This was my favorite pizzeria for some years but something change in their recipe or I found something better recently. But anyhow, the pizza is good. Its slow service regardless if you order ahead of time or not, the subs are cool but I mostly order the pizza.

They screwed up the toppings order on the pizza but who cares, this place is so damn good they deserve to make a mistake now and then. Excellent pizza and to all those people worried about the neighborhood, drop your purses, grow a pair and just go there, it wasn’t bad at all. Cool workers there too, looks like a bit of weed might be smoked at times but they make a great pie.

I normally do not write these reviews but I find that I am always reading them when searching for something so I thought I would write one for Metro Pizza. I work in the area so I have grabbed lunch from here a couple of times and each time I do I am so impressed. This last time what impressed me the most was watching how extremely busy they were around noon and had every single oven filled with pizzas and sub rolls and a ton of employees running the place like a well oiled machine and seemed to really enjoy what they were doing :) I actually got there a little earlier then planned and didn’t want to wait outside because it is not the best neighborhood as Mark M mentioned ;) Anyways since I was early I stood around and watched these guys and gals work and it was quite entertaining! I have had a couple different kinds of their pizza… all very good… especially white pizza with just green olives and onions and calzones and chicken wings and now the boneless wings and LOVED everything! The Thai Chili sauce is AMAZING if you like a sweet kind of sauce with kick to it… try it… YUM!!! I believe I have even had the salad there and it is was pretty good and you get a lot of it! Bottom line is Metro has really good Buffalo food and even though they aren’t in the best neighborhood they seem happy there and the food is very very good! I would recommend trying it out :)

Seriously, Buffalos best kept secret. This pizza is amazing, side dishes that will blow your mind. Metro’s a must try if you’re in the area. Great lunch specials too, two slices and a drink for $ 5!

We called ahead for a large pizza and they told me 25 – 30 minutes. Got there in 30 minutes to pick it up and they said another 15 minutes. Came back 20 minutes later and still had to wait another 10. Ugh! But, the good news is that it is Really Really good pizza. Small pepperoni that curls up, tons of cheese, lots of toppings, sweet sauce, fresh crispy crust – they know how to make a mean pie! The guys working in there are a rowdy bunch, but they are friendly. The neighborhood is pretty sketchy, so bring a friend when you do a pickup, lol. Place looks like a dive inside, and you can’t eat in there. You park on the street. Lock your doors.
