Solid. Went there one time for measurements nad when the tux showed up everythng fit just right. No adjustments needed. Great service.

Terrible service. They should be embarrassed of the quality of product they are giving out. We had so many problems with the tuxes that were «measured» for our bridal party. 4 out of 6 had major problems with their sizes. The suits were dirty with stains and wrinkles. one shirt had holes. Shoes smelled as if they were just turned in.

It’s been a couple years since I needed a tux, but my Marty’s experience was still top notch. My relationship with Marty’s Formal started with my wedding back in 2000 (after some awful experiences with national /​franchise rental stores for friends weddings). Yesterday I received a last minute invite to an event this weekend. Today they let me in 20 minutes before normal open time (without attitude), took measurements in under five minutes… and said I could pick up the rental the next day. There was no upgrade /​gimmick pressure. The same personnel that have helped with my infrequent rentals over the last 15 years were on hand today. The tux’s (and more importantly, shoes) are quality material and CLEAN! For your perspective, I’m in my 40’s. I’ve gone the route of chasing what appears to be the «best deal» only to be burned by poor service and quality issues. During our recent «snow-​vember» storm that crippled the region this store went above and beyond to help people with a scheduled wedding received their tuxedos. You might (might) find a place that offers what seems like a slightly lower price. I assure you that you won’t find a better deal (e.g. service, price, rental quality). You get the point — two thumbs up!

Marty’s saved my wedding. OK, maybe not THAT extreme, but they did help us out of a bind. My fiancé is difficult to fit. We were advised by another tuxedo company that fitting him would not be a problem. After two weeks of broken promises, I decided we needed to look elsewhere the next time we were in Buffalo (where the wedding is).
Our experience at Marty’s was fantastic. He brought out several options that he thought might work and voila, we found one that fit well and made the groom look great. The service was extremely attentive and there was no complaining when we asked to see several different vests. He was honest about colors and fit. To top it off, rentals from Marty’s were $ 60 cheaper than they would have been with the other rental company.
If you are looking for a tuxedo for any occasion in the Buffalo area, I highly recommend Marty’s.

Simply put, Marty’s Formal Wear should be the only place to rent a tuxedo from. Seriously.
I went to high school right up the street from this place and got all my prom tuxedos there — which seems like a lifetime ago. Recently, I was in a wedding and all the groomsmen got their tuxedos there. Still the same great service, same great deals.
Marty is usually there, as is his mom. $ 69.95 for a tuxedo rental, no extra charge for the vest, shoes, studs, etc.

No complaints! They came highly recommended and now we recommend them to everyone else. We looked at the usuals — Tuxedo Junction and Men’s Warehouse. We just weren’t impressed with what we saw or the pricing. We were hesitant to use a local guy only because all the groomsmen lived out of town and we didn’t want them to feel obligated to come to Buffalo for a fitting. Marty’s had it under control and had them just send in their measurements. They were all a perfect fit! And even if it wasn’t a perfect fit, all their tuxedos are on site so it would be an easy exchange — even the day of! The guys all looked sharp from head to toe and we were so happy to have gone with them!
