I actually really love Lord & Taylor’s because of the purse, shoes, and especially the JEWELRY sections! And don’t forget the perfume. Not really a place to for clothing shopping unless you’re trying to spend a grip. High end clothing labels are in here. My dream purse is also in here(Marc Jacobs I’m coming for you!) But honestly I could come here and shop for jewelry all day, it’s one of my favorite things to do when at the Galleria.

I used to love L&T stores. Especially for summer work dresses and outfits. I have shopped here less in recent years, mostly because the merchandise no longer interested me as much. Recently I have been to this location twice looking for dressier clothes. Its OK. Its taken me a while to find things to try on. I have yet to buy from here, but Ill be back looking anyway. You never know. Mall hours and parking. They have their own outside entrance as well, its a mall anchor store. ** National chains default to 3 stars, they are likely A-OK. If I rate differently I’ll outline why.

If you’re an older lady who belongs to a country club and drives a Mercedes, you might enjoy the plus size clothing selection at L & T. I’m neither, so I can’t really appreciate it. This is the kind of place where they sell dry-clean only blouses and slacks, not machine washable shirts and pants. I saw a Jones of NY blouse on the sale rack that I also saw on clearance at TJ Maxx for $ 20. It would have been about $ 40 at L & T(orignally $ 95). I love bargain shopping and the fact that I could have purchased 2 of these blouses(same exact blouse!) at the Maxx and only 1 at L & T made me realize that it’s worth it to shop around. This place just doesn’t suit my tastes.

This is to talk about to my gf’s search for a new pair of shoes. There was a sale going on Buy One and get the 2nd’ one half off. Not sure if they rain out of sizes or they only save a very limited amount of shoes in their back storage. EVERY shoe my gf tries on they said it’s the last pair or they don’t have it. As a matter of fact many of the shoes they have displayed is the last one. So we got this pair of Stuart Weitzman for 6 ½ and they said it’s the last one. however it has some stains on the shoe and asked the manager to see if we can get a discount for it, and this skinning guy comes over and has an attitute and looked really quick and said NODISCOUNTS and turned his head and left the cash register without even looking at us. Talk about POORCUSTOMERSERVICE!!! Lord & Taylor, I’ve worked in retail and most retailers care most about customer service but you surly hired the wrong Manager for the Ladies Shoe Department.

Ditto to what Kelly S. said, minus the Kate Spade part… but anyway. They DON’T carry the EXACT same thing as Kaufmann’s/Macy’s did/does, like they used to. I love going in there and dreaming of owning the entire first floor. So pretty to look at, so painful to pay for! And the parking thing is s.p.o.t. on – WHY would you drive around that huge waste of space 4 times to find the best parking spot? Go straight to L + T !

The merch selection and quality quotient has been significantly upped in recent weeks. This is either due to a big holiday push or trying to rake in significant Loonies from all the Canadians. When I was shopping for wedding shoes I had to go to Holt Renfrew in TO to find these cute Kate Spade shoes that I was sure would be perfect. I ended up not getting them. Point of story? L&T buffy now carries Kate Spade shoes. Smooches to L&T! It’s also the best place to park at the mall.
