Best Pizza I’ve ever had. Check out the chicken finger pizza made with Blue Cheese. But beyond the pizza you must try the Garlic BBQ Parmesan Wings. You will not regret it. I’m not even a huge fan of BBQ and this wings are incredible!

If it’s good enough for Patrick Kane it’s good enough for me. When you walk in the restaurant is a shrine to the local hockey star with more than five different autographed jerseys. Very cool but I came to pick up dinner. ¼ sausage pizza and an order or bbq & garlic parm wings. First off great bang for your buck. The ¼ pizza(yes you can order in quarters) was huge. The sauce is a tasty sweet with just a hit of spice at the end. Tons of topping and tons of cheese. While thick crust pizza is not my favorite it was still pretty good. The wings were another story. First off they were burnt and the ones that weren’t charred, didn’t taste that great. Saw a review saying the barbeque and garlic parm wings were top notch, I was intrigued by the combo. However there wasn’t much flavor or sauce. Not a bad place to eat but not as good as the reviews are making it out.

I honestly don’t get what the hype is all about. We got a large pepperoni pie, which was very large and heavy. But the slices are cut so bizarrely and irregularly, which bothers my ocd-type personality. If you’re sharing a pizza with folks, people should expect uniformly-sized/shaped slices. It’s a small thing, but worth noting. The pizza is thick, but there isn’t enough sauce on top to balance out the amount of dough. And this is coming from someone who does NOT like super saucy pizza. Also, although I appreciate a lot of meat on a pizza, the pepperonis were cut TOO thick, meaning that you don’t get that wonderful cup-and-char effect that is so beloved here in Buffalo. You really have to chew chew chew the pepperoni, which was just off-putting. I do like the whole«no real outer crust» thing, kinda like how Mattina’s and Leonardi’s does it. Both of those pizza joints use a sweeter sauce, but Imperial’s is not anywhere near as sweet. So, it was a decent pizza. there are WAY worse out there. But nowhere near«one of the best pizza places in Buffalo» as recently hyped on a local radio station. I’ll stick with my beloved Bella Pizza. NOTE: There is no place to dine inside the restaurant

Love this pizza. Great quality ingredients and people are very nice and friendly. Fast service in slices to go. But one thing I love is a option for cheese pepperoni mushroom to go. In slices. Most places have only cheese pepperoni ready only for to go. I Love the Big fresh Mushrooms. Not those canned ones. The Pepperoni is really great! They use Quality Ingredients.

Good pizza not great pizza. Everyone in buffalo is like«you gotta check this place out! Bills mafia! Imperial pizza! Best pizza you will EVER have»… So into and try it. It’s ok. Kinda thick. Not really sure what kind of pizza it is. Def speaks to buffalo which is a very mediocre town(just like their sports teams) with nothing to do but you would get laughed out of Boston or NYC if you called this the best pizza in town Not great but good if your hungry. I give it a 6.1 out of 10… Maybe a 6.4 max

Talk about a great value for your buck! Imperial Pizza will not dissapoint. Be prepared to deal with a packed parking lot and crammed lobby around dinner time, especially weekends and sports game nights! This place knows how to make a pizza! The dough is thicker and the pepperoni is very generously applied. This pizza will come crammed into its box, much like your waistband trying to contain your belly when you finish eating here. Not a whole lot of seating inside, and a small outdoor patio if you want to stay and eat, but Imperial is an order and pick up kinda joint. The prices are a bit more then surrounding places but you get a HUUUGE pizza for that money! Who needs a fancy sit down restaurant? Order a pie and stay home. Hell, take it to the waterfront and enjoy the sunset! This little jewel of an establishment knows what it’s doing and does it very well. Worthy of mention, they offer a ¼lb burger that is equally huge and amazing for the price. I highly recommend you try this spot if you’re in the mood for pizza or a burger, and it’s worth a drive to get it. Luckily I live a couple blocks away!(: My one gripe with the pizza is that the sauce lacks on seasoning. I wish there was an option for different sauces! Maybe a spicy sauce or an italian seasoned sauce option? I truly hope the folks at Imperial read the reviews here because nearly everyone I talk to agrees. The sauce balances on being bland and the only reason I don’t give this review a perfect 5 of 5 stars! Still one of my favorite pizza places tho! CHECKTHEMOUT !!!

The pizza is legendary. Anyone you ask from the buffalo area will often tell you to order from Imperial Pizza. If you are new to Imperial, know the pizza does not come in sizes it comes in quarters, halves, and wholes. The customer service is not always the best, I’ve gotten a snotty girl before who thinks it is hilarious to be sassy when I’m just trying to get some pizza. That is why I can not being myself to give Imperial Pizza that 5th star. The pizza is good, but the service doesn’t always make you feel like you want to go back. If you are new to the Buffalo area or from the Buffalo area and you haven’t had Imperial, you have GOT to get there, just take the way you are treated with a grain of salt.

With all the Patrick Kane jerseys they have displayed here you know you’re getting a quality slice of pizza. This place is a must stop when ever in the area. And on bills game Sunday’s they open early so you can get your large cheese n pep for the ultimate tailgating experience! Thick crust, tons of sauce and mounts of cheese. Id say some of the best pizza I have ever sank my teeth into!

Imperial Pizza is like the Arnold Schwarzenegger of pizza. At first glacé, this pizza is jacked. If you’ve ever seen Arnold’s movies, just take a peek at his bulging bicep. Think of Imperial as that bulging bicep and you’ll know what’s in store for you. You either need a fork and knife or you need to roll the pizza to fit it in your mouth(I recommend the latter). Imperial is pumped and intense. It’s ready to beat the crap out of your digestive tract.(Think Terminator). But, Imperial Pizza also has an intense sweet side, the sauce made from the ripest tomatoes. Not too overbearing, but just sweet enough.(Think Jingle All the Way) It’s too bad Imperial isn’t human, because I’d vote Imperial for president. I know for a fact that Imperial has already received endorsements from individuals such as Kennedy and Kane. With Imperial as president, you’ll see a bright and ha– Wait… who told you you could eat my pizza? Put my pizza down! Now!

We got takeout pizza from here a little bit ago. It only took 25 minutes from call to pizza being ready, which is always a plus. We got there and picked up the pizza. The whole car ride home was a tease, smelling the food the whole way. When we got home it was all still really hot, but oh so delicious. The wings were gone in about 3 minutes. Crispy, tasty, I want to try the sully wings next. The pizza was great good sauce, right quantity of sauce, cheese, and the crust was good too. We got sausage and banana peppers and they did not skimp on the toppings! I can’t wait to come back for more!

Yum! I had a gift card from forever ago, so we finally decided to order some takeout. We went with a large pizza and single wing. Specifically, a large sausage & banana pepper pizza with medium wings. Being outside of the delivery zone, we opted for pick up. Now, the distance between Imperial Pizza and my apartment may have lessened the quality, but the food was still awesome! The pizza was more doughy than I typically like, but the ratio was spot on, which really pleased me. Not too much of anything, and lots of toppings. I definitely feel like I got my money’s worth for toppings. The pizza was also huge in size, and was cut kinda strangely actually, but such a minor problem to my honest. The wings were very good, because man were they cripsy! They did lack a little sauce, but still were tasty. Admittedly, my inner white person came out, and I was too scared to try the Sully wings because they were labeled as «extra hot» even though I love the Sully-style sauce. I think next time I might bite the spice bullet and just go for them. In retrospect, it may have made more sense for me to ask for the pizza par-cooked, so I could finish heating it in my own oven, but I really didn’t feel like waiting to eat; I wanted the food the second I got home. Location is easy in-easy out, with ample parking. The workers were friendly, efficient, and make an excellent pie. I do wish this place was closer to me, but I think I can splurge and take the drive every now and then!

This is probably my favorite pizza in WNY. I don’t know where to start very friendly staff I mentioned I came from Rochester to try their pizza and their manager appreciate that and they give me their T-shirt and hoodies with the Imperial pizza brand on it as something to remember. I ordered half large pizza with onion and bacon with 10 garlic parmesan wings. The pizza was one of the best I’ve ever had the ingredients were fresh and tasty the sweet tomato sauce was so good I still can close my eyes and imagine that. The crust was so crunchy and very delicious thick dough. Wings were really good too but for me their pizza is the most special thing. This is the gift of pizza god to Buffalo people. Enjoy it.

Ahhhhh the nostalgia. I grew up on Eden street. Which is the only red brick road street left in Buffalo. A top that street lies the one and only, iconic Imperial Pizza. I remember being super excited as a kid, when my dad would bring in this pizza, with the slice bigger than my entire head. Fast forward 16(or so) years. And it’s been awhile since I’ve had this pizza. I’ve moved to South Carolina, Back to Buffalo, out to Rochester, then Back to buffalo. But one bite of this pizza was more than just another bite of food. It was everything I loved about buffalo condensed into one perfectly, large cheesy, crispy, pepperoni studded slice of home! That being said, let’s get into the real deal. That distinctly, tangy, tart red sauce, mixed with the perfectly obscene amount of gooey mozzarella and perfectly charred, crispy pepperoni. And it’s literally perfect. The only thing that’s changed about it is the price, which still to this day is worth every penny. To all outsiders… COMEHEREFORTHETRUETASTEOFBUFFALO! This is where the elite buffalonians come to eat pizza. And don’t go getting chicken, or mushrooms, or olives or foie gras. Leave this pizza as it is. It’s the Mrs. Universe of pizza… period!

Honestly, I’m not even sure why I’m writing this review. The ratings and numerous reviewers already said everything that I would want to have said. This place serves amazing pizza. It’s a small place so I wouldn’t recommend bringing the family to sit down and eat. But call ahead and give them about 30 – 45 minutes to make your pizza, depending on day and time. We’ve gotten plain cheese and pepperoni– you can’t go wrong with what you order. It’s DELICIOUS– stop reading and go get you some Imperial in your tummy!

I’m a HUGE pizza fan/person/lover so even when it’s bad it’s good, etc etc etc. You know how it is. Pizza is ALWAYS at least kind of good. Well that being said… this place is GOOOOOOOOOD. I mean really good. The sauce is on the sweeter side but not too sweet. It’s just enough to make it a bit more unique than the rest. What I love about Imperial is the consistency. It is continuously cooked to perfection, loaded with toppings, and the price is extremely fair for what you get. The wings I think are even better than the pizza. They are cooked to perfection… a little on the crispy side. with just enough sauce. The sauces are all so flavorful. It’s the kind of food that even when you’re full, you want to keep eating. Delivery is normally pretty fast and the people working there are great!

If it were owned by the owners of NYC’s «Prosperity Dumpling» it’d be «Bacterial Pizza.» All I can say is, thank goodness it isn’t. We’re talking about *the best* Wings and *the best* Pizza in WNY. You can make an argument about the pizza(because there are 10 or 15 other amazing places which are a little different), but you can’t argue about the freshness and consistency of this one, nor the wings which are so far superior to most others(miles ahead of Anchor, Duff’s, Nine-Eleven), and somewhat better than the top ones(Zip’s, Bar Bill, Gabriel’s Gate, La Nova), that I think the only reason everyone doesn’t come here for their wings is that there’s nowhere to sit. That, and a lot of people have never tried the wings here… get them medium, extra saucy. Trussssssst me. What to get: Pizza and Medium Wings, Extra Saucy Why: Because Buffalo makes the best Pizza & Wings anywhere, and this is the best place in Buffalo. Tips?: Don’t leave them sitting in the sauce for too long. They’ll get super soggy. Eat right away. If you can’t, then take them out of the sauce first. I like to perform mime acts for the guys working here while I’m waiting. It’s never gotten me laid(I’m hoping one of these days, especially with that Italian guy with the missing tooth), but with a name like«Improvisational Pizza» what do they expect? I’m not ashamed of a little improv. Buffalo Pizza is something that those outside Buffalo either don’t know about, or decide they don’t like. It even gets a bad rap from some locals. It’s an acquired taste. It’s very doughy, very cheesy, and extraordinarily greasy. Imperial is a little less greasy than some, but if you want to try a «quintessential» and«top notch» version of Buffalo pizza, this is the one to try. Don’t forget to get the wings too, while you’re here. I wish there was more love for Buffalo Pizza. Imperial really should be as famous as Lou Malnati’s of Chicago or Bleecker St of NYC. Should be. But life isn’t always what it should be. In other news, I put a tiny ape-like creature on my roof, and now I get a perfect signal on my Television! I call him my «Imp Arial». OK, that was bad. How about, The Little Mermaid is dating a tiny ape-like creature? Imp/Arial? No? Doesn’t quite have the same ring to it as Brangelina? Tomkat? They’re getting divorced maybe? OK, never mind. On with the show. Reasons why Imperial is the best in town: (1) Taste. The wings and the pizza taste as good as, or better than, any other place in town. (2) Price. Wings are competitively priced. Pizza is cheaper than expected and enormous. (3) Snack. They sell slices, quarter pies and half pies as well as full ones. (4) Dough. Nice and doughy and delicious, the way true Buffalo Pizza should be. (5) Extra saucy means extra saucy. You’ll never get dry wings here if you say extra saucy. If Kellogg’s bought the rights to use this food in their breakfast brands, it’d be «In-cereal Pizza.» Ew. Watch it be the next big thing. Let’s do some more. (6) Sauce. The best, butteriest, most delicious wing sauce in town. Medium. Omgosh. (7) Family Owned. Of course. But they’ve never tried to franchise and they so could. (8) Late Night. Open til 11.30pm most nights and they don’t get mad if you call at 11.20. (9) Everyone loves it. I’ve yet to take an out of towner here that didn’t go wild for it. (10) Other options. Their BBQ wings, and subs, are pretty good too. (11) Fresh. Everything is made fresh and tastes fresh. Nothing old. (12) Well Made. Nothing is ever hard or burned or messed up. They’re *so* consistent. (13) Service. Absolutely wonderful service. A bunch of lovely guys. Awesome. If it was super expensive but you still bought it because it’s so good, it’d be «Immaterial Pizza.» So for all these reasons, Imperial is *the* place I send people to for Pizza, and *the* place for wings. But the main star of the show is the wings. If you come to Buffalo and only eat 3 things, the Medium Extra Saucy Imperial Wings should be on your list. They should call it «Arterial Pizza» because it is so heavy, it will clog you up. Especially the buttery naughty wing sauce. But welcome to Buffalo. It’s what we do. If you think you don’t like Buffalo Pizza, try this one first. If you really don’t like it, then fair enough. If you think you don’t like our wings, same thing. Getting wings anywhere else in the USA is treacherous because they really are so much better in WNY, on the whole. And this is *my fave* place of the 100-plus places I’ve had wings from in this region. Surely with an endorsement like that, you have to try them! Just make sure you get them medium extra saucy, and make sure you eat them fresh and hot, please. And remember not to leave them sitting in the sauce, or they’ll get soggy. If you have to take them home first, take them out of the sauce and put them atop the foil. And if you sleep with me after we eat here, then I apologize in advance if you end up with anything along the lines of «Venereal Pizza.»

If you love Bocce of Diva’s pizza on Clinton, you’ll love this. It’s a sweeter sauce well-prepared. Cooked(for me at least) well and not underdone like at some pizzarias. Their stinger pizza is amazing, btw. Wings are pretty good too.

Our first time at Imperial. It came highly recommended from a friend who’s a South Buffalo native. We were in Buffalo for the weekend and had to make a detour! We had to head home early so we tried calling in our order at 10:15 to pick it up at at 11 when they opened. They were there, answered, and had our order reading a few minutes early and technically before they opened. We had a whole pepperoni pizza and BBQ wings. The pizza was huge and the pepperonis had a nice char on them. I wonder if they’re house sliced as no 2 were the same thickness. The sauce was sweeter than normal which made for a unique flavor. The crust was delish — my only complaint about it was the center was very sloppy. I loved the inconsist shaped slices. The wings were to die for. Fried to a perfect crispness, thrown on the grill for a grilled flavor and grill marks, then sauced. The sauce was sweet and tangy. Sloppy but the chicken retained it’s crispness. This is only about 5 minutes off the Thruway so I definitely recommend stopping here. They open at 9am on days of Bills games. Would definitely be good tailgate material(and they have a breakfast pizza).
