I was playing tennis and running a lot and because I’m older, began to feel pain in my arch, heel and knees. A family member recommended I visit the Good Feet store and get some relief. I really didn’t know anything about arch supports but knew that shoes, no matter the cost, only gave me temporary comfort. I was around Walden Avenue one day and decided to check it out. I was greeted immediately and the salesman asked what problems I was having and told me I could try on the Good Feet supports for free. The salesperson had me walk across a printing pad that showed the pressure I was putting on different areas of my feet. It was interesting because some of the dark areas of my foot prints were causing me problems. The salesman said the prints help with selecting the right size and style of support for my problems. I was able to fit the supports in my shoes, stood and immediately felt a huge difference with balance and my pain dissappeared. It felt like I had a pair of shoes made perfectly for me. I knew that running and being active affected my feet and if I didn’t remove the pain, I might never be able to do those things again. The arch mold they use is special because it supports all arches under the feet and was researched and studied to be like an ideal foot supporting the body. Who knew you have 4 arches? My experience exceeded my expectations because the salesman let me try on the supports, answered all my questions, the arch supports worked, it came with a lifetime warranty and I could take the supports home with me. The salesman made a funny comment by saying that if I could cutback on one cup of coffee a day from Tim Horton’s for a year, I would recover all my costs and I would never need to buy the supports again because they are warranted for life. I picked up on another important fact. I don’t have to keep buying expensive shoes because it’s the supports that give me comfort. My family member told me to use their 0% interest plan but I opted to use a card. I’m glad I did something that will help me forever. I just can’t say enough good things about Good Feet because they changed my life.

Before coming to the Good Feet store my husband suffered from foot pain. He tried all kinds of cushions and supports, but received only temporary relief. After getting his Good Feet arch supports he has been pain free for over 7 years. He never goes anywhere without them.

This is one of three locations in NYS. I believe Buffalo was their first one and it was a hit. Years ago a friend in NYC told me she travelled up into NYS to buy her sneakers. Always up for an adventure, one day I went with her. I mean, who drives an hour for sneakers? But when we got to the store I «got it». Owned by a former Olympic level runner and still a major cross coutry runner, this small store had people coming from hours away for shoe fittings. It was more than the sneakers. It was the fitted to your feet orthotics that were the draw. I got a pair and went back a few times. That was back when I wore high heels and my feet often complained. These days I don’t need them. The Good Feet Store has the same impact. You come in and are treated as an individual. Orthotics are fitted just for you. It’s a three step system and it’ll cost you. They have like 500 sizes or something, they measure your feet by bone length I think. Just like the other store the process takes about an hour. You will walk out with three sets of shoe inserts. One is the«final pair» which you have to work up to. Then there is a «resting pair» for the end of the day. The third is what you wear as you are breaking in the first pair. They help with alignment, general walking posture improvement and comfort. Appointments are recommended but not necessary. You may get referred here by a medical professional. I went to check it out after hearing commercials about it. On Walden near the mall. Easy parking.
