This location has become just terrible. The guys have no clue what they are doing. Not to get too much into the details, but, I ordered an Iced Toasted Almond Latte with Skim Milk. I received, a mistakenly made Hot Regular Latte with Cream poured over ice, that turned it into a watery mess. My person ordered a Large Iced Coffee Black(a lot simpler than mine), and received a Medium Iced Tea with Lemon(he hates lemon). Just don’t get it, but the guys were so confused, and would not help, that we just ended up leaving?! Suffice to say, it was so bad that we ended up taking to the Dunkin on Main Street in Williamsville to fix, because otherwise, they were both going straight in the garbage. That’s serious stuff coming from this Dunkin fan. Just go to another Dunkin, the same man owns all of the franchises in the area. He just needs to get this one under control. On a side note, you will leave smelling like burnt toast. Yuck.

I always get the turkey sausage egg white which is no longer on menu, so i ordered egg/steak burrito. Suffice it to say it is diarrhea in a tortilla. Horrible product!

What do you call it if LeBron James and Michael Jordan are eating cruellers and glazed Bavarian Cremes? Dunkin’ Donuts! OK, that was awful. But there’s so much junkin donuts these days, isn’t there? I’m here to set the record straight about these little baked goodies. Call it Debunkin’ Donuts if you want. Dunkin will always score a 2, not a 1 from me, because unlike Starbucks and co, they’re not centrally owned, they’re often franchised, which gives each store slightly more local flavour. Plus they have — by far — the best hot chocolate of any of the chains — infinitely better than the gross and overpriced version served at Starbucks, and the watered down weird version at Tim Hortons. It’s just so creamy and delicious that I love it. This one has the great hot chocolate, and plenty more. Give it a try, and enjoy :) I stopped by here after a soccer game the other day. Nom. Nom. Or should I say slurp. I should mention, I only rate national and global chains on a scale of 1 – 2. I rate family businesses on a scale of 3 – 5. Here is why: Would you rather support the local family coffee shop, or the multi national corporations and the rich men on yachts in the Carribbean? Why are the parking lots of the awesome local places usually half empty(or completely empty)? Why are the national and international coffee chains always so busy? Why can they afford to open so late and get all the TV advertising and all the prime intersection locations? Why are they taking over all the airports, stations, and rest stops? Why go and support Starbucks, Tim Hortons, and so on? These places have systematically and coldly taken over the national coffee scene by using cheap ingredients, pre-packaged frozen systematic snacks that are identical across the nation, overrated products, overpricing for everything, often rude underpaid baristas, and a ridiculously expensive mass brand advertising campaign that gets inside the heads of all the kids and the 20somethings and keeps them under the illusion that if it’s not a brand name, it’s not worth visiting. They spend all the money they should be investing in drinks and food and service, in advertising and cornering the market — the local places can’t compete — and someday all we will be left with is the same chains serving the same drinks all over the world. That is our future. It’s the way we’re heading and you know it. Every time you eat at a bland national chain, you buy into that, you support that. Boycott chains. Support your local places. It’s an embarrassment that generic brand national chains are even listed on a proper foodie website like Unilocal, let alone getting 4 and 5 stars from so called foodies. Wake up, America, before we’re all just batteries in the matrix.

I’ve always loved Dunkin Donuts. Sadly, we have not had one in Cali for years. I was so happy to see one establishment after another during my short stay in NY. I had breakfast here twice and had the sausage egg and chesse croissant. So good. Their Iced Mocha was really good too… And last but not least their donuts, of course. Still as good as I remembered them from way back when. I took away one star because service was poor and the man working the counter was pretty rude.
