Originally Desi was single, and then Desi found a partner and Desi mated, and now the area is kind of run down. Get it… desi-mated?(hides) This was pretty good pizza in a bad part of town… this used to be a splendid part of town, but the government has completely let it go now… I’ve found that it’s the American way… if there aren’t a lot of rich people in the neighbourhood, nobody cares, and the tax money does not find its way here. Quite a shame. Quite embarrassing. I see the 1 star review, but you have to realize that review is mainly criticizing the place for hardly ever being open and for not taking credit cards. The massive problem with that is that the place obviously is limiting its hours because it is not making much business and is struggling to stay afloat in a poor part of town. So giving it a 1 star review despite loving the pizza, if anything, is only going to make it worse. But like that 1 star review says, the pizza here is actually really good. It’s worth a try and you can decide for yourself what you think of it. And please give it a decent star rating if you like it, so it can get out of the basement it’s in based on the previous review ;) So this is good pizza but it’s far from the best in town. Buffalo actually has the best Pizza in the world — check my «best Pizza in the world» list to see all the best Buffalo pizza places, lots of my choices are Buffalo based.

First off this is a cash only business. They don’t take Credit cards, and to the best of my knowledge there is an ATM down the road at the gas station you will need to go to if you want to eat there. We loved to eat here. It was the local pizzeria when we were in college a few years back and we couldn’t get enough… Having said that, we have tried to get back there ever chance we are in the area… sometimes(like birthdays) we tried to get there too… But they are ALWAYS closed! Vacations plague this pizza shop, along with tuesdays off(what? why not monday? whats happening on tuesdays, a bowling league?) and then their hours are another thing… I get that not many people may be there in the morning looking for pizza, but why can’t sundays have a lunch time? Why a 4pm opening? This last weekend, I tried one more time. We found their online menu and figured it out… we had to a ½ an hour to call before anyone would be there(a sunday with a 4pm opening) and sure enough, VACATION… so we’re done. I’d like to say this place is worth it, but it’s been over a year and a half since I’ve tasted the food.
